Now that i've found my true AC (thank you Geocosmic Valentine) i see my 12th house is packed out!!!, so i thought i'd start a 12th house thread. It's a very interesting house. http://www.dkfoundation.co.uk/dkfoundation/BookKarmaHouse12.htm It is ruled by neptune/pisces and associated with spirituality and self-undoing. The rewards are great though. Please share your 12th house thoughts IP: Logged |

I don't have a 12th house stellium but an 8th house(Sun, mercury and moon) with a Scorpio Ascendent. I used to be afraid of things like Scorpio, the 8th house and the 12th house. They are intense but there are rewards which come from persevering with intense things. Mermaid said that it is like the Velveteen rabbit. It is well loved cuz of the all the tears that fell on it. x o x o AmiIP: Logged |

I have 12th House Sun and Venus and almost every asteroid in the 12th House. It's not a punishment house.Lara, I have a question. Why do you use equal houses with your chart? Your 12th House is ruled by Uranus and Neptune. If you don't use a natural house system, you're missing out on more clarity about your chart and your life. Especially when it comes to your chronic health. If you don't know that Uranus also rules the 12th, you won't see when something is coming down the pike with your health, thereby allowing yourself to prevent it. Saturn rules both your 10th and 11th houses. Moon rules both your 4th and 5th. Just as with your 12th House, your 6th house is ruled by your Sun and Mercury. OK, LOOOOOL!! I'm finished driving you crazy now. EDIT: Yes, all of your houses are different when you use the Placidus (Web default on Astro.com) House system. IP: Logged |

It's a punishment house to me. Any planet that falls there disappears in my opinion, and the owner is the only one aware of it's hidden energies.IP: Logged |

Hey LaraI have Mercury, Saturn and Pluto in 12th - amongst other things. Let's just say that my life has been difficult, and I always joke that every sad statistic concerning bad things always speaks of an experience I have had. Through all that, I persevered, and I still persevere - and I have learned or remembered many truths while trying to live pass those experiences. I have learned compassion for others, but mostly - I have learned compassion for myself. The 12th house people on LL are always saying that... "my life was hard, but I wouldn't have changed anything about it because it made me who I am today..." Congrats on knowing your AC finally ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |

So true, Rasperri. It's a mystery house and it's individual to every person. For some it can be a fun house (although I've never heard that) and for some it's a punishment house. So I shouldn't imply that you were wrong. That's the nature of the 12th House, it's hidden.IP: Logged |

And if we didn't have a house to deal with KARMA, which house would?12th House is about what we experience personally and on a deep soul level. And mostly, that stuff can be unpleasant. Of course we can reach monumental emotional states when we connect with God and what not. SO this house isn't all bad..but it mostly is. The 12 houses deal with every aspect of life And everyone knows that life has it's dark side. Houses 4,8,12 with 12 being the worst because it's YOUR soul you have to deal with. Not the 4th(family), etc IP: Logged |

Man, if I had natal Saturn conjunct the SN in the 12th......TRANSIT Saturn is about to leave my 12th house and I cannot imagine a lifetime of dealing with this... And Saturn was on my SN! Regret, Sadness, Tears, Anger..you name it. FOR two years! But maybe I took it harder because my Natal 12th house is empty. People with this house probably have high levels of emotional intelligence/thresholds and are destined to work on this aspect of themselves in this life. IP: Logged |

I wonder what Neptune in the 12th house does. That is my 12th house planet but supposedly Neptune is comfortable there cuz the 12 th house is a Pisces house. I wonder if that would be a placement for being psychic. AmiIP: Logged |

Neptune rules the 12th house 12th house loves NeptuneSo your Neptune functions at its most sufficient because it's able to work with the mystical energies of this house times ten. You see, I have Neptune in the third house conjunct my Moon... But my experience is that my THOUGHTS (3rd House) are somewhat clouded if you will. I romanticize a lot. This isn't really a good thing. It's better to have Mercury in the 3rd house to give the person a clearer mind set. But it all depends, perhaps my 3rd house Neptune will help me in a career, say acting . It will give me the ability to make unpenetratable thoughts become available to me and to the people I talk to. Neptune in the 12th is a lovely placement to me. You can experience the healing qualities of this house alone, the way they are meant to be experienced. And With Neptune in the 12th, the rewards are large because your soul has power with this placement; what is hidden is your power. IP: Logged |

I would think that's better!! I would much rather deal with my own soul than somebody else's! I have the Moon in 12th house and Lara, what was written about it in that link seemed incredibly accurate to me- particularly the part about having a Mother that is afraid to examine her own emotions. I can think of one occasion where I saw my mom cry, after her own mother died. I, on the other hand, cry for just about anything! IP: Logged |

12th house Leo - hidden creativity, don't like to be front and center, tendency to let others take credit, power behind the throne type. Maybe it makes me even shyer than I already am. Once revealed, it opens a world of healing to properly channel those long hidden traits. Your shadow aspects that can be used rather constructively via art, music, etc... Possible problems with the authority figures. I just healed my relationship with my father this past year. Now I need to be real with mom. IP: Logged |

I think the 4th House is more about your Families soul instead of YOUR soul. 12th house soul to the 1st house being IP: Logged |

No, everything in your chart is about YOUR soul and about YOUR relationship to your environment, which of course also includes your family. It`s YOUR chart after all.Every house only represents a certain part of your soul. 1st house is reflective of your soul, too; the instinctive part of your soul, which sometimes becomes pretty obvious. 12th house is maybe more about the hidden part of your soul, maybe also indicating previous lives or the prenatal phase (as 1st house represents the birth, and 12th house is before this). Of course maybe the question is: How do you define soul?

Everything in a Natal Chart covers EVERY ASPECT of life. NOT JUST YOU.Like I said earlier, the houses define every aspect of life. Every single one. IP: Logged |
