Ami,pluto in the 10th. i am often put into positions of authority with or without experience or reason that i know of. i am the go to leader. the one who knows how to pull people and ideas together. i am a bit pushy at times, but i am generally right. i can't help that. (hee hee hee i have always had a sense of destiny concerning my purpose in life. from a very young age, and even now, people always "know" that i am going to do something big or be someone important. i often hear that i have "it". strangers and friends and family alike. i do have a bit of resentment towards authority. i feel like we are all equals and no matter what your age or title, respect must be earned. (i am an aqua sun, that could have a bit to do with it too) you can imagine how that mentality would get a 7 year old in trouble. on the other hand, as a child i really worked hard to please adults and often put peers on a pedestal. but at the same time, i was oddly irreverent. go figure... pluto is loosely conjunct my midheaven, sextile my ascendant, neptune and pluto. other than that, its hanging out at the top of my chart. apparently its perfectly quintile my venus. not sure what that means. [from astrology for the soul... A quintile is a 72 degree aspect. It's based on '5.' If you divide 360 by 5 you get 72. '5' resonates with Mercury more than any planet; it's creative and magical. Any time you have a quintile, those two planets combine to form some very powerful magic and gifts. They are more interesting and unique than trines and sextiles, though also somewhat more subtle. If you want to find someone's gifts in a chart, don't forget the quintiles. They are very special! ] on another side, i do have mars and saturn conjunct in scorpio in my 10th. i dnt know IP: Logged |

quote: an inexorable force which "plagues' you for a lifetime based on house.
Ami - I keep thinking about this.. I have Pluto in the 5th in Scorpio conj SN. I honestly don't know how to answer that. A force that plagues me for a lifetime? No... Somehow I don't see it. Art - kids - sex - love..
A force that plagues me.. Naw. I don't have problems there. I may feel strength coming from that area.. It's an area of regeneration for me. I like what Bob Marks has to say about it. I relax through art and sex.. and I regenerate and feel renewed through those things. I do like some of the things Liz Greene has to say.. but at times I find her too exaggerated. She has some Capricorn Moon interpretations that I was not at all impressed by lol Completely off on every single point. IP: Logged |

Electric Mind I never knew about quintiles. Thank you. I may come back with my quintiles and ask you about them. Are Bi-Quintiles weaker versions of Quintiles? Thanks so much AmiIP: Logged |

Pluto in 6th conjunct my sun in libra exact! Obsessive compulsive, neat freak, PERFECTIONIST, hypocondriac! Also very vain, but i'm thinkin that has to be because its in libra, but sooo perfectionistic that i can never be good or smart or beautiful enough and that must be the virgo element(6th), I'm cursed by this position and right now i'm gonna go pick my face in a 100x's magnifying mirror.IP: Logged |

"Are Bi-Quintiles weaker versions of Quintiles?"No..they are not both quintile and biquintile are 5th harmonic aspects quintile is 72 degree angle 1/5 biquintile is 144 degree angle 2/5
Quintiles are measured from plus or minus seventy-two degrees. Bi- quintiles are measured from plus or minus one hundred and forty four degrees which is one or two fifths of a circle. When planets are quintile or bi-quintile this is an indication of uncommon creative energy and talent. They are trend-setters and need an audience. The energy here is specialized and purposely striving toward power. Quintile and bi-quintile energy can be romantic, playful and demonstrative. The quintile family of aspects can indicate science, math and engineering. There's a need to make things happen. Cosmic will seems to be at play here, so if creative things aren't happening, then look for destruction. Quintiles and bi-quintiles bring a certain dignity, clarity, pride and unusual sexual energy. A quintile resonates with the Sun, Fixed, Fire and Leo energy.
semiquintile aka decile is 36 degree angle 1/10 sesquiquintile aka tredecile is 108 degree angle 3/10 A Decile occurs when two planets are thirty six degrees apart. A tri-decile occurs when two planets are one hundred and eight degrees apart. A decile is one tenth of a circle. A tri decile is three tenths. The decile family of aspects is related to the quintiles. The energy of the deciles is such that it conveys order and structure. Mental ingenuity is at work here. Deciles are power and career indicators. They often bring strong technical insights and abilities. Deciles indicate special gifts that may be wasted or unappreciated. Self-improvement is needed to capitalize on this power. Deciles resonate with Saturn, Cardinal, Earth and Capricorn energy. http://www.adze.com/Classroom/aspects.html ------------------ Raymond

I was pondering....Pluto in 1H (aries), how similar is that compared to having Mars-Pluto aspects?? Personally I feel the Mars cj Pluto interps dont really resonate with me. I'm wondering what all you others here with 1H pluto think/experiences are? IP: Logged |
