Both do.
From my own experience (Sag)I get restless, morbid and sometimes litrally sick if I don't have my space and freedom.Not fond of clingly people either.

def aquarian. i see more sags in commited relationships(ex. marriage) than an aquarian. aquarians tend to either not get married at all or later in life.

Aqua, I think.
My Mother is Aqua. My parents have been married for over 45 years.
*I* see her need for freedom in a different way.
She always has to be a rebel. If everyone says "Black"--she will say "White"

Definitely Aquarius my ex husband was Aqu rising Aries sun left me with a 3 month old bay girl and married 5 women after me and left them all lol

People with an emphasis of planets in Aquarius, Capricorn and Sagittarius.

Some with Pisces signatures often feel overwhelmed around people due to over-sensitivity, so they may need a lot of space as well.

Indigo is a VERY good friend of mine. She's much older than me but we are really good friends. She needs a LOT of space but needs to know your committed.

I dated Tammy for some time. She also needed a LOT of space and freedom to do the things she wanted to do; so did I. Didn't work out though. I did have a lot of fun with her.

I dated Vivian for 5 months and it was odd with her. She wanted to be with me literally for 4-5 days in a row (at my place) and then she'd want to go stay home. I didn't mind her staying over so much cuz we had LOT of fun but it ultimately had to end cuz she had issues.

I know a few Sag women and they don't need a fraction of the space and freedom as these women. In fact, all the Sag women I know are either married or in serious relationships. They need their space, but you need to be in the other room lol. Thats the kind of space they need.

I am currently on a temporary contract at work and quite happy tootling along and then they said
"We can put you on a permanent contract"
And I went "NOoooooo....
They think I'm mad!
They don't understand that the word permanent to an Aqua is a dirty word!
And then they are all quacking because there are threatened cuts and they go
"We might lose our jobs"
And I'm like "That'll be an adventure"

And before you all go "Well they probably need the money"
So do I. I support a lot of people.
But it would still be an adventure

I don't have any of these signs in my chart yet i get very claustrophobic about loss of freedom. I never get too close to friends and i wouldn't cope with being 'employed'.
I love to cuddle but then i love to get away from it, i am very passionate as long as its on my terms lol

I dont think I need "freedom" in the not being tied down in a relationship sense. I am a 9th house Aqua with Saturn and Uranus in Sag, Venus squaring Uranus and Saturn, and DSC in Sag with Jupiter in Aries in my 11th with a mutual reception to Mars in Sag. So yeah, huge Aqua/Sag influence in my chart lol. I love being in a relationship. Sometimes I need to be alone after being in a group of people, but I can be around one other person the whole day and not need to recharge. I need intellectual freedom, more than anything, not necessarily physical.

Here is the answer - ME!

I have sun in aries in the 11th opposed to uranus in libra in the 5th. Aqua MC and nodes. I have Uranus trine my asc and MC and saggy on the 7th. (this just kills my sensitive Cancer Moon)

I am highly commitment phobic and not sure if I will ever get married - though I am in a stable relationship with an Aquarian man with moon in Aries and 4 Saggy planets.

I honestly think it is dependent on an individuals chart and can not be put or lumped into 1 group or one sign.

Sun Uranus opposition is a strong one here. Jupiter in Sag too. Uranus trine Ascendent is like being the runaway bride - I was engaged 4 times and never been down the aisle. The last time I was single I was really enjoying it and didn't want anybody in my life - it took my Aquarian man a few months to get me.....

I have no planets in Aqu, but I have 4 planets in Sag (sun, neptune, merc, mars) plus my DC in Sag...Well, wait, my Moon is in the 11th house opposite Uranus and my Venus is conj to Uranus... and I haven't been married yet (I'm 31). The whole thought of marriage freaks me out. Right now my parents and grandmother are living with me, and it's only been 4 months! I'm about to go crazy b/c I have no time to myself and I can't just go running off to my next adventure... I feel like I'm an animal in a cage that is way too small and I'm starting to get depressed as well.

So, you can't narrow it down to just Aqu or just Saggie... you need to look at a lot more!
