Wow, apparently I am not alone in my Neptunian haze. o.o Whacky is a great way to describe me. LOL!Neptune in Cappy in the 3rd, Trine Sun, sextile ASC Neptune in the 3rd is hellish. Luckily Neptune is in Earth sign, so it's balanced out well, but Neptune in the house of the mind has caused me to be nebulous and unorganized, especially when it comes to education. In school I did very poorly and the teachers were very closed minded towards my way of learning, which was more intuitive and visual. People always make jokes about me "being in a different world from everyone else." I tend to absorb the energies of everyone else in the room and have always been empathic. Neptune in Earth also has endowed me with artistic abilities. I can use Neptune in practical, constructive ways which has always awed other people. Most people don't understand Neptune and are not able to harness the energy of this planet in practical ways. Another downside to Neptune is the love of mind altering substances. I like alcohol a little too much. I enjoy the sensation of being drunk because it triggers that merging with the rest of the universe feeling that is so wonderful. With Neptune it's hard to tell what's you and what's me- it blurs the edges and dissolves boundaries. IP: Logged |

I am not that good at lying on a whim, but if I have time to prepare for it I am an expert. Not that I make a policy out of it, because i really try to always be honest- it makes life a lot more simple. I think Neptune is actually pretty good at being a trickster. So, people with strong Neptune placements can seem(or be) to fragile for the world that demands your own strength within your own boundaries.
These people can get in trouble with all things that reflect lack of boundaries such as addictions and also a generally messed up life cuz you can't sort out yourself from the outside world.
=====================================================@ Ami.. I have strong Neptune influence, and this is the opposite of me. Im not fragile, nor do I appear fragile. Also I keep seeing the "drug" aspects in all my charts and interpretations. But what I have noticed, is a sensitivity to drugs.
What I mean is, I am unable to take prescription medication, it makes me sick to my stomach. Every time a doctor gives me a new type of medication I have a different reaction to them. Sometimes its an allergic reaction , sometimes it just makes me sick and my body rejects it. I have never been able to complete an entire prescription of pills. I have to stop after 3 days. I literally have a list of medications I cant take... LOL
The same is true with Alcohol, I just cant drink it.. It just makes me sleepy, even with one glass.. I skip the "buzz" and get straight to the spins and sleeplessness.

Ami..
I have no earth either (except generational planets) and only one water. Everything else is fire. I have Neptune in the 8th at 2Sag (H9 ruler)
8th house ruler is Scorpio. Neptune trines my 0Aries Asc
Neptune Sq Leo 26Mars (end of Leo)H6
Neptune Sextile 0Pluto (libra) H7
Neptune inconj 4Venus (cancer) (H4)
You have more aspects, Neptune has a big influence over me... I basically live in my own little world.

I was misplaced with the intellectually handicapped in 1st grade. I was in special education system for 3 years. The mainstream teaching methods of auditory sequential teaching never worked for me because I am a visual spatial learner.
I have Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd like you, but it's challenged by being opposing retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th and square Moon in Pisces in 6th. Therefore, I have a t-square.
I have other configurations that go along with my Neptune in 3rd that it can be argued by Cosmobiologists that they are the configurations that indicate that I relate to all this stuff. They don't use house systems.
they are:
Mercury parallel Neptune in the declinations which is like Mercury conjunct Neptune which I do have in my declination longitude equivalent chart. Mercury conjunct Sun/Neptune midpoint
there is also Mercury conjunct Neptune/Ixion midpoint. Ixion is a transneptunian dwarf planet candidate/plutino,and so it's similar to Pluto. Therefore, it's similar to having Mercury conjunct Neptune/Pluto midpoint.
I think mainly in pictures,visualizing in my mind's eye nonstop. Verbal/word thinking is secondary thinking. Fact: visual,picture thinking is much faster than verbal,word thinking. Some people think that I am slow thinker, they are really off the mark about me. I am very fast thinker. I am very imaginative,intuitive,and overall nonlinear thinker.
I am predominantly rightbrained and too much so for my right hemisphere is always doing what my left hemisphere should be doing. ------------------

I am reading a book which says that Neptune obscures everything it touches.
So, if you have Neptune aspecting Mars--it will obscure(make problems with) your drive/aggression (Mars).
If Neptune touches the moon--you could have problems seeing woman/your mother/your own emotions clearly.
If it touches the Sun, you could have problems idealizing your father/men in general/or a hard time expressing your own ego.

my natal Neptune is in RX.. So I live kinda in my fantasy world, Just as it would describe a typical Pisces 'fantasy world' I daydream alot.... Keeps my mind occupied, and releases stress.. I think in a way it balances all my fire. But (maybe) gives me an infinity for Pisces men..
