As noted above, a Lunar eclipse is an especially potent lunation -- in this case a potent Full Moon. Lunar eclipses are relationship-oriented. The "crisis" that these eclipses tend to elicit is a crisis of lack--a time when we suddenly realize a great need or want. The impact of the crisis can act to sever a relationship--it's possible. But it can also bring two people together with a sudden awareness of a great need for each other. Although Lunar eclipses are more relationship-oriented than Solar eclipses, they are not always about relationships between two people. They can trigger awareness of need in other areas of our lives, such as our relationship to work, to our health and bodies, and so forth. This is a time when matters come to light--things that have been brewing under the surface.

When a Full Moon occurs, we can suddenly burst forth with proclamations and outpours that seem fresh and new, simply because they are not yet rationalized. A Lunar eclipse is a more potent Full Moon, and its effects tend to last longer. Many astrologers believe that the effects of a Lunar eclipse last approximately six months.

The Lunar eclipse on June 26th, 2010, occurs when the Moon is at approximately 5 degrees of Capricorn, opposing the Sun at 5 degrees Cancer, and is a Partial Lunar Eclipse.

Lunar Eclipses are about relationships and polarities. With the Cancer-Capricorn axis involved, this Lunar Eclipse presses us to look more closely at our needs, lacks, and wants in our lives concerning the balance between our private lives, domesticity, our need for a home base, and nurturance (represented by Cancer) versus our public lives, careers, reputation, and accountability (represented by Capricorn). Attachments and love are ruled by Cancer, while achievements and rewards/punishments are ruled by Capricorn. In some ways, this polarity deals with the balance between unconditional love and conditional love. Cancer encourages us to value our home base and our roots, while Capricorn persuades us to consider our sense of duty and responsibility along public or professional lines. While Cancer may be content to be dependent, Capricorn urges us to be grown-up and responsible. Cancer represents the origin, and Capricorn represents the goal. Neglecting either end of the axis will surely backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do.

This Full Moon is about balancing our commitment to our career and families. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks and for 3-6 months, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can't sit on our feelings. We need to express them. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict. Some sort of crisis (which can be a crisis of consciousness) or sudden awareness of a lack in our lives provides us with a golden opportunity to explore our emotional needs within the context of the house polarity where the eclipse occurs in our natal charts. Relationships may be challenged, broken, or strengthened dramatically at this time. Our discovery is emotionally charged and dramatic. Epiphanies are likely at this time as we become acutely aware of our lack. This understanding can propel us into positive action.

This eclipse is one in a series of eclipses that fall along the Cancer/Capricorn axis. It can be viewed as one of many cosmic pushes regarding the themes it has been and will be stimulating.

Full Moons and Lunar Eclipses bring issues in our lives to fulfillment. Our emotions are heightened, and there is often some sort of drama involved with the house, sign, and any contacted planets activated by the Full Moon. Look to 5 degrees of Capricorn (and Cancer) in your own chart. This Lunar Eclipse gives us a cosmic push to make needed changes in our lives. The areas of life activated by the eclipse may see dramatic turns, after which the path is clear to move forward. Note that whatever "happens" at this time is nothing truly new. The issues have been brewing inside of us, and emotions have been building. Something comes to light at the time of the Full Moon, and if we get in touch with our emotions, we can get a better idea of what needs to change, or what needs to go.

This Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn is bound to thrust us into a state of heightened awareness of flaws in the structures of our lives, particularly in our career or outer structures and our home and family structures. Decisions made now are emotionally-driven.

This Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is aligned with Pluto, opposite Mercury, and square Jupiter and Uranus (and widely square Saturn). This configuration is powerful and complicated at once. The need to take action is urgent.

On June 25, 1964, June 25, 1983, June 27, 1991, and June 24, 2002, a Lunar Eclipse fell in Capricorn at a similar degree as this June 2010 eclipse. It might be helpful to think back to issues in your life that were in effect at those times (in the weeks surrounding these dates) in order to get an idea of how this 2010 Lunar Eclipse might affect you.

If this Lunar eclipse conjuncts a planet in your chart, you may feel its intensity more than others. If it conjuncts your Sun, for example, it can act like a charge of energy. The desire --or necessity-- to turn over a new leaf is strong.

Possible issues for the eclipse's transit to natal houses:

In the first, it may be time to change your image or redefine your personality in some manner. Finding a balance between autonomy and dependence is what this eclipse is about for you. Your emotions are on your sleeve right now. It is a good time to put your needs first, but doing so with respect for others will take you further. Whether you can succeed as a leader is "tested" right now.

In the second, you may get a cosmic push to make necessary financial changes in your life. Sharing issues come into focus, as do issues of power--what's yours and what's mine. Your comfort zones matter, and now is the time to take care of your own needs without eclipsing the needs of others.

In the third house, there may be some sort of drama surrounding communication, modes of transportation, mobility, neighbors, or siblings.

In the fourth, domestic conditions are illuminated. House repairs, family dramas, and other such issues need serious attention. The demands of your personal life are now paramount. Striking a balance between energy spent on work and energy spent on domestic matters is essential now. Balanced attention to your public and personal lives is what you need to focus on. It's time to prioritize.

In the fifth, a romantic affair may be tested. If love is true, there's nothing to fear. The demands of your larger goals in life may have been eclipsing your pleasure-seeking activities. Also possible, your children may be going through their own changes and "stages", and need more attention now.

In the sixth, there could be changes necessary in your job or health routines. You can use this surge of emotional energy to make positive changes to your routines. Do something to improve your work conditions if they are annoying you. Get going on your exercise or nutrition program that you know you have to do in order to feel more balanced.

In the seventh house, partnerships may be tested, but there is nothing to fear if the relationship is strong. The seventh house represents an important one-to-one relationship--a marriage partner, significant other, business partner, or an adversary. It's time to strike a balance between your own needs and those of another. It's time to compromise and negotiate.

In the eighth, some drama with regards to a spouse's income, or your taxes and investments may occur on a mundane level. It may be time to settle some of your debts, financial or otherwise. What makes you feel comfortable and secure needs to be balanced with attention to other people's needs and comfort levels.

In the ninth, your personal beliefs may be tested. Your hunger for adventure or learning may come into focus. All of the attention you've been giving to mundane affairs has you wondering when you're going to have some fun. You want to take a leap of faith now.

In the tenth, you may need to review and change your career goals. Career matters come to a head. You're called to perform, perhaps on a moment's notice, and it's best to keep your cool and do whatever you can to show your competence.

In the eleventh, friendships may be tested, or your relationship to groups or organizations. You're looking for validation from friends and group activities now.

In the twelfth, you may recognize an overwhelming need for rest and spiritual renewal. You've been busy with all sorts of everyday activities, deeply involved in your work and routines. It's time to balance your life with some down time--otherwise, you simply don't feel whole.

your p Venus is opposing my natal Venus (1 degree applying) and your p Moon is about to progress to my natal Moon sign.

Anyway, I wonder why the Moon was so orange yesterday. It really looked "different".
Very powerful and primal.

And the electricity around me grew to be almost unbearable.
Does anyone else experience some fullmoons like this? I mean it is not even the time of the ecclipse / fullmoon, but the electricity made the lights literally flicker.
And it felt like the veil was thinner than ever.

I was advised that what I was told in my dream couldn't be told to others.

The Lunar Eclipse is going to be in my 4th house.

With the Sun at 4 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 4 degrees Capricorn forming a conjunction to Pluto, you know that this eclipse is going to have long-lasting effects. For some, it will be completely life changing in an instant, whilst for others, it will be an adjustment of attitude regards security and confidence levels. Focusing on home and the work place, you can expect ‘eclipse’ alterations to take place over the next six months, to a year. What you, as an individual are not ‘passionate’ about, will not last this eclipse. Nor will who or what you cling to through habit or fear of what will happen if you let go.

When the Moon and Pluto are united in transition, you can expect to deal with deep, emotional concerns. It can be literal and Freudian involving wounds and issues surrounding the maternal or the closer feminine. But with Saturn in rulership, this enables a broader possibility including the paternal, masculine repression and of course, career concerns. Forming an applying square to Pluto, is Jupiter at 2 degrees Aries. Here, there is a push for more – more power, more influence, more ambition, more independence, just more. Saturn, ruler of Pluto, pushes you down so that you are forced to achieve your best through hard work and karmic lessons evolved over time. With Saturn and Uranus still in opposition, you discover with this cycle that despite the emotional intensity with the Moon and Pluto conjunction, your approach is intensely business-like and determined to locate that path which is intended for future betterment of self. In conjunction to the Sun is asteroid 99 Dike, the spirit of all that is morally correct and fair. With a name meaning ‘justice’ you can expect that this will be the emotionally detached focus of Moon conjunct Pluto at work. Also involved here is asteroid 15 Eunomia, sister of Dike and the daughter of Hermes and Aphrodite, who is conjunct the Moon. As the Goddess of Law and Legislation, it was the role of both Dike and Eunomia to bring law and order to the societies of the time. This highlights that legal concerns could be on the agenda for many and that breaking the law is going to be highly noticed. Perhaps we can expect a heightened number of ‘revenge’ based crimes on the news, or find wayward family members locked away for their momentary lapses of social reason.

Asteroid 221 Eos sits in square to the Sun, Moon and Pluto, which encourages the uprising of youthful enthusiasm. Symbolic for the ‘New dawn’, Eos signifies that there is light after the darkness and to heal is to let go. Perhaps through fear and general tiredness, you feel old and have lost much of your usual zest regards your passions and ambitions. This asteroid indicates that new horizons beckon as do new attitudes and opportunities.

In square to the Moon and the Sun at 5 degrees Libra is asteroid 1036 Ganymed, challenging you to question your present attractions. What this square wants to know is just how deep do your present attractions delve? How connected are your present aims to your true passions? Goals, aspirations, and relationships that are surface based or that only appeal to one facet of your being will become a major concern this cycle. Asteroid 1108 Demeter, at 3 degrees Cancer and in opposition to Pluto – adds to the ‘urgent’ feeling you find surrounding your present questions or ambition desires. With asteroid 26 Proserpina also conjunct Jupiter and square Mercury – where you have had little to no voice in the past or feel you have been treated like a mere underling, you are determined to change that dynamic. Hekate will shine her torch towards pockets of immaturity, highlighting the path to positive negotiation and compromise. Provided both parties are willing, successful agreement can be found. Otherwise your intentions and motivations fall on deaf ears, leaving you the knowledge that unequivocally, it is time to let go and move on.

Pushing the moral code even further is asteroid 595 Polyxena, who chose to be slain for the discovery of Achilles weakest link, his heel. As a close confidante of the Princess, Achilles confessed his secret to her in the temple of Apollo, thus enabling Paris the knowledge to bring down his foe. Rather than live with the knowledge of what their friendship had caused, Polyxena chose a noble death – knife to throat style. The moral here is to be wary of where you confide your inner most fears and to also keep your weaknesses well away from the social sphere.

Asteroid 388 Charybdis, the sea monster that symbolises where you can be stuck between a rock and a hard place, sits retrograde and at 0 degrees Capricorn – in square to Uranus on the Aries point. With counterpart asteroid 155 Scylla at 28 degrees Libra, in trine to both Neptune and Hades, an emotional storm surrounds the intimate and work environment. Navigating your present relationships and commitments is a tricky process that requires patience and compassion. You are dealing with your desires and ambitions, whilst attempting to maintain a healthy handle on what is essential – deal with legalities, help the family, not break any laws AND clear out lingering emotional baggage. It’s a big ask but doable, with or without relationship casualties. Just work through one dilemma at a time. In a mundane sense, these aspects can be indicative of some form of natural disaster with a hefty death toll – earthquake, volcano, hurricane, landslide, flood and the like, so keep an eye on your local weather conditions and be wary of making travel plans to known trouble destinations.

Harmonia, asteroid 40, sits at 0 degrees Sagittarius, in square to Uranus and Chiron. This asteroid has been active for the last two lunar cycles, encouraging peace and harmony in both the arena of personal ideals and more recently, within social/work connections. This cycle, much may revolve around legalities, or intense desires to change the opinions of others – even that of larger groups, which is fine in principal, but it can easily get out of hand if opinions are forced. Perhaps in the mundane sense, protests organised around the eclipse will get well out of hand. For me I just now feel harmony and calm. My life just now change completely. I'm in my new flat. New people comes into my life, not a new man but other new people turns up. I'm just now clean up my old flat and are soon finished and can leave the life I lived there behind me...
The full moon lunar eclipse is in my house 5.

My daughters birthday are on june 26. I guess she is in love. I try to push her to dare to go there here feelings are. The man she met are 7 years older than she is and I think it will be good for her. She need love and a man beside her. I wish this full moon lunar clipse works out good for the most of the people the universe hit.
