Ami Ann,
I was told that we would receive a very powerful "download" of knowledge during this eclipse. With this eclipse, the Sun was illuminating your Moon. The South Node is within a 3 degree orb, and is asking you to release old feelings and memories. The Lunar Eclipses help us to release old patterns, old karma. And with the South Node in Cancer, we are being asked to release old family karma on this Eclipse.

So yes, I would think it would have been a powerful spiritual download for you, accelerating your growth, your level of awareness.
