Topic: Chart ruler in the 12th house

Anybody experience this one? I have it and I feel like a hermit or a major part of myself is in hiding from the rest of the world. I yearn to socialize and connect with the world but stuck in my cave. I'm not sure how to come out of my shell. I can get so swept away by other people and their energies and end up mimicking them and talking like them....12 house ruled by venus with mercury/saturn subsiding in it. Venus is afflicted by Neptune....

I'm lost Cynn,
are you saying that your Ascendant ruler is in your natal 12th house or
is your Ascendant ruler transiting your 12th house?if Venus Rules the 12th house and Saturn and Mercury are posited within, then that must give you a Gemini Rising? ok, it's starting to make sense now.
Mercury is a neutral planet, it acts out negatives and positives through the aspects that it makes so... conjunct Saturn?
That would make you serious and contemplative. And depending on whether Mercury is in Taurus or Gemini just how closed off you are.
(Taurus would be less inclined to open up but Gemini wouldn't be able to help it) My chart ruler is in the 12th house also
Jupiter/Sag
I am very happy closed off in my own private little Astro World.
This placement was pivotal in my need to understand Astrology.
So in essence, my truth-seeking questions could only be answered after I learned Astrology.
To this day, I rarely talk Astrology outside of LL and my interest is kept strictly private, as I didn't learn it for any reason other than ME. 
It's a good fit. There are 3 planets that are happy in the 12th house.

Cynnared, I can relate. My chart ruler is Pluto (Scorpio Rising) and it also is conjunct Saturn in the 12th house. My 12th house is Libra and so is also ruled by Venus.------------------

I have this, and can totally relate. Its worse for me though, coz its saturn. I don't mimic people, but I'm easily affected by their energy for good or worse.IP: Logged |

Thanx all..........I have mercury at 1 Taurus and Saturn at 20 Taurus. The mimicky part is the Gem rising. Cynn In Draconics my Asc ruler is in the 2nd and I'm not sure which has more clout. IP: Logged |
