I just got this from Astrothemes.com, it's my Dominant Elements Pie Chart, was kinda surprised Earth was not dominate, then again... maybe not surprised.

Do you see the little rectangle on your chart that has F, A, E, and W vertically, and C, F, M horizontally? The F, A, E, W are Fire, Air, Earth, and Water. You have just two planets in Earth (and three planets in Earth-ruled houses). That's why Earth ranks below Air and Water.

What makes up the Air rating is Jupiter, Uranus, Mercury, and your Ascendant being in Air. You also have four planets in Air houses (3rd House, 7th House, and 11th House).

You have Moon, Mars, Neptune, Venus, and Chiron in Water. The Water Houses are the 4th, 8th, and 12th. You only have one planet in a Water house, which says to me that maybe they didn't take the house placements into consideration. It might just be:

Water: 5 planets
Air: 3 planets plus the most significant angle (AC)
Earth: 2 planets
Fire: 1 planet

But in contrast to this Air action, you have some stunning feminine energy (Earth and Water) working in your chart. Your Earth Sun is in sextile to your Moon/Neptune conjunction in Scorpio, and that conjunction sextiles the other Water planet Pluto. Nice blue triangle.

I see these influences, and wonder if people really see the full picture when they meet you. However, you've had time to really integrate your energies into one consistent whole (possibly), so maybe you do present yourself fully when you meet people.

AcousticGod - Thank you, interesting. Methinks I am not nearly as integrated as I need to be, studying astrology is helping me to understand myself as I transition from twenty years in a toxic relationship.

Apparently I am not a strong Capricorn, since I have so many non-earth influences. I guess that's why I struggle to live up to the Capricorn ideals... digging in my heels and concentrating on my ambitions and career goals doesn't come as easily to me as I'd like.

I've struggled socially, and I have a strong tendency to self-sabotage. I have felt off-kilter. unbalanced, my entire life and this undermines my self confidence. Getting away from my marriage is LONG overdue.

Masculine vs. Feminine influences - interesting. I have been told I exude sexuality, which surprised me. I never used to get much attention from men, but once I left my marriage I started holding my head up and suddenly men were holding open doors for me and hitting on me - it was kind of strange for this to be happening all-of-a-sudden-like.

I'm working on being more assertive... taking courses in personal empowerment even. I need to re-write the scripts in my head from 20years with someone who rarely to never had a positive thing to say in my direction. In fact his self-esteem was parasitical, he'd feel better about himself by holding me down and thus comparing himself favorably to me. It's hard to pull oneself together after living with that negativity and attack on one's character for so very, very long.

But I have a plan and I'm working my plan... it's hard, the hardest thing I've ever done.

You have moon in Scorpio. Some people say they don't like moon in Scorpio cuz it is too intense. *I* love it.
Moon in Scorpio's are loyal. They can keep secrets. You can trust them with secrets which is a big thing and an important thing .
They are intense which is a good thing , too, I think.
IOW, they are not frivilous people. You can talk about deep things with them and they can handle it ,not look at you like they want to escape lol.
They can face the deeper things in life i.e. harder things with a steadiness.
They speak directly ,too, without excess fluff.
Mercury in Aqua makes your thinking global. You are concerned with things outside of your narrow world like global issues whatever your particular ones may be.

Jupiter in Libra makes you ethical. It is important that you find the proper moral way not just do any old thing.

Mars in Scorpio--I love this one. It is an intense Mars. It is like your moon but your moon is your heart--deep emotions --a and Mars is drive.

You have a wonderful drive.It can take you where you need to go. I noticed IQ mentioned it.
It was powerful what he said. He said your Mars in Scorpio would be your saving grace.
Mars in Scorpio is not a frivilous placement.
They like honestly above all else. They have little time for people who are phonies.
They can spot one a mile away and will not waste their time with that kind of person.

There's no shortage of imagination when the Moon is in conjunction to Neptune in the natal chart. How this quality is used depends greatly on the other aspects to this conjunction and the natives' level of maturity. The 29th degree is the end of the sign. It could be called tired, diluted or a weak point.

With the moon, you may have a hard time making decisions, coming to decisions.
You may go back and forth, from side to side.
You may delay decisions or may just jump--all of a sudden --from pure exasperation.
It is in the second house which is the house of material security/self esteem.
It makes the things of the house hard to see, hard to grasp , get a hold of.
Do you feel that the material world,possessions/self esteem are hard to hold in your hands in a comfortable way?

Neptune conjunct this moon would make it harder to SEE the practical things of this house i.e. the material world.

Neptune makes things fuzzy and the moon already is having a hard time being decisive.
You indicated your struggle here by trying to get out of your marriage for such a long time.

Anyway--that was my thinking on those two aspects.
Does it sound right/wrong?

Thank you... everything you say seems fairly spot on. The aspect you speak of speak to my frustrations, why I'm not getting any forward momentum worked up. The Cappy Sun in me has plans, but my insecurities and lack of confidence make me unsure of my course and I pretty much shut down. I do escape into my mind - all the time. Some people use drugs or alcohol to escape, no need for all that for me to escape. I appear very lazy, but my mind is never not working.

Not leaving the marriage was more so because I always wanted to believe we'd somehow work it out... I wanted to believe he was a good person, and perhaps in some areas of life he is... but not in how he treated me.

I did our synastry chart and it said only I would ever be in love, I believe that's true.

He could NEVER see our marriage as a partnership, he ALWAYS had to have power and control over me or if he perceived that I had more power, that I was making more money, he was very agreeable and easy to get along with... as soon as he had the upper hand, in his mind, he started pulling power plays on me. I approached the marriage as a partnership (perhaps this is the Libra Rising in me?) and projected "partnership" on him - it took me a long, long time for me to realize he's incapable of operating in the mindset of being partners.

Absolutely... my primary uphill battle right now is to get employed full-time for the first time in nearly 15 years. I have no self confidence whatsoever. I have been living on the edge financially, with kids depending on me, for too, too long. I'm tired of it but can barely see myself functioning at a level capable of pulling off a full time job along with my parenting responsibilities.

It helped I guess in that "it is what it is"... I still have the same struggles to overcome. It's a tough uphill battle.

I guess I understand better why the Cappy Sun nature which I so want to be strong in is so elusive to me... perhaps this understanding will help me to overcome the hurdles better. I don't know - time will tell.

Your interpretation was spot on, if it had all been rosy I'd know you were off, because my life is not all that rosy.

I am a bible study group of 7 women that's helped me TREMENDOUSLY... I do a little bit of volunteering here and there, did more before kids. Now I feel I can't volunteer elsewhere because I don't really even have it all together to manage my household and kids properly.

Saturn restricts /dampens the places it touches. In this case it is your Ego(Sun)

With time and discipline, Saturn brings maturity and depth of character from overcoming.IOW, Saturn can be overcome and lessons learned which stick with you.
I have it in the 1st house which impedes self esteem so I understand.

I am thinking that you may have insecurity in communicating who you are cuz of the houses placements, too.
