Loyalty is a deep concept, I just realized. Something I will think more about.

For now I can say that I am looking for consistency and consideration from people. If they tell me they will call, I like for them to actually call. That's all I want- for people to keep their word.

When they don't...I used to get so upset and blame myself. I've learned that what I am really feeling is a kind of sorrow for them, that they don't have what it takes to follow through on commitments.

Or maybe they are just having difficulties that I don't know about. I've been in that position too...depressed and not wanting to burden anyone. But I have never stood anyone up, nor will I ever, unless I start losing my marbles.

Every situation's different but generally speaking, I just want common courtesy.

It took me a while to realize that I am worth that much. If I don't get it, it's on them.

I'm a Cap sun...we are generally reliable and in relationships for the long haul, 'cuz we're ruled by Father Time.
