angel - see the thing is sometimes I fall in love gradually in time. I don't fall in love at first sight. I feel like maybe we didn't have time to fall in love.
He is very friendly in general - his Aqua moon shows - and I assumed he was always being friendly. Even when we dated years ago, I didn't think this was 'special' to him. But apparently it *was* and he simply didn't know how to express it.

Diana - It wasn't a practical joke lol He wanted me to pick the ring so that it's something I definitely like (he is not that traditional - his Taurus sun is, but his Aqua Moon is the opposite). I was telling him yesterday that I think we should hold off on the ring for now and just have a relationship. He said he still wants to buy me a necklace instead, which was sweet.

I know how weird this is. My feeling is - he thought we were getting closer two years ago (which we were) and he panicked and his Aqua side felt "in need of freedom" so he took up this position at work, trying to get away. But later he realized that he really liked me and he misses me.
It's still weird that he'd propose though LOL
When I say the word "weird" I always think of the association to Aquarius - Maybe he just wanted to surprise me and do something more than ask me out to show he is really committed.

But - in general - I am rational and serious emotionally. Capricorn is a detriment placement for the Moon. I guess it's not the energy people expect (Taurus/Cancer).

I'm not really in love *with* love.
Even though I don't feel romantically that into him right now - I think this deserves a chance. Not because I "want" to get married (regardless of the husband). But because there is *something* about this guy.

You're right - If Leo proposed, I'd be much more excited right now! I'd prolly post three different threads in all the wrong forms with lots of bouncing emoticons and balloons

But when I had time to think about it - other things would take over. For instance Leo guy had a vasectomy. He definitely wants no more children - He already has three. Right now I don't want children either, but in time I might resent this. The other thing is because of the situation I'm not sure he'd ever make it official - although he says he wants to.

The weird thing is - in the synastry with Leo - we have a similar grand trine at the same degrees.
His Sun at 9 Leo - his Saturn and my Sun and 12 Aries - My Saturn at 9 Saggy.

So Taurus Guy's Saturn is conjunct Leo's Sun. His Venus/Mars in Aries is conjunct Leo's Saturn.

Maybe *they* should get married!

Personally, whoever i fell in love with immediately or at least went arse over *** for - never worked out.

I'd extend that to men also. I doubt it's *always* the case. I guess it's luck of the draw. You might be very physically attracted to someone as soon as you meet, and later it could turn out you are compatible on several other levels. But I think that's rare.
The story I usually hear is: "We fell in lust at first sight and it quickly dissolved after things became physical".

Lioness - We've been talking lots, but mostly about our lives, not the proposal as such lol. He understands I want to take things slow and he grudgingly agreed that 'it's best'. I think his Venus/Mars get irritated by my Capricorn Moon. But his Tauro Sun gets me lol
The thing is some of our friends keep calling, in particular his - because he has a million friends and word keeps spreading that he's engaged. They keep asking him about it - so he has to say "actually we're not engaged anymore", which is awkward. He told me he wasn't annoyed/upset, but I still feel bad that he's in this position.

My Karma is at 4' Pisces sextile his Mercury/Chiron. It's a close sextile.
Actually his Karma is also sextile my Mercury and we have the same sextile in composite - all exact.
In composite we also have Karma conjunct Moon.

His p. 1st and 7th house rulers are cnj too! Even though they're cnj in his natal, Venus progresses at a faster rate than Mars. So they didn't have to be cnj in his p. chart.
