I was having lunch with some friends today. One of them proposed to me. I thought he was joking but apparently all my other friends were aware he was going to do this. He is serious (it seems).
I'm kind of shocked.
OK - MORE than "kind of" LOL

Here is the synastry if anyone wants to take a peek.
I thought it was interesting we have lots of Magi connections - when usually I think Magi is BS. And I *just* mentioned this the other day on here.
lol
It seems life is trying to prove me wrong.

And the composite:

--- Both birth times are accurate ---

Belgz I'm so scared I'm shaky!

Thank you both.
I don't know what to say.
On the spur of the moment I said yes and now I'm completely freaking out about it

For people who were following the Taurus man story - this is a *different* Taurus man.

Lioness - I said 'yes' because of the situation. Everyone was so excited and happy and I couldn't embarrass him on the spur of the moment and say "no". It seems our other friends knew this had been planned for a while.

He is "just" a *friend* technically - We dated once, a couple of years ago but not for very long. Lately I thought maybe there was something there again. We ended up kissing about a week ago and had a moment. We didn't have sex. I thought this would be a passing thing.

PlutoSquared - LOL I never thought of marriage with this guy. In fact I didn't even check our synastry. Normally I do this. This is the first time I checked it today.
I had a look at his own chart previously and told him about it - but never looked at *us* together.
It actually looks pretty good.
I can't believe I'm saying this ^

Betty,

That's just AMAZING... I've never heard of anything like your situation before...

And, the fact that your synastry and composite chart looks pretty good, is just further... fascinating...

I think you did the polite thing, for sure. But, you can always call things off, of course... if you think and feel it out, and just feel there's no chance...

Do you feel like there's a good chemistry between you?

Well I could certainly see why!

What about you, Betty, do you feel the same for him/about this?

Omg, Grand trine,
involving both Saturns, Venus, Mars, Sun ::bug eyes::
Saturn's your dsc ruler..

There's Moon/Mc, Venus/Asc

His nodal rulers are conjunct (in Aries) and conj your Sun (!)
OMG they're also his ASC/DSC rulers!

Here's a kicker,
Your nodal axis conj his Asc/Dsc
another OMG

Eh, even if you don;t get hitched I still like the synastry

Does your Cap Moon like that he's older ?

EDIT
Composite Sun conj your Venus/NN & his Asc
OMG lol
But it all falls in composite h12,
what's hidden about this?

Whatever happens, you two are meant to be together for some reason, I don't know what, but it's very important for your individual nodal path, very important.

Wow,
His Dsc ruler AND Venus are conj your Sun, that's 2 venus factors that are *all over you*

LOLLLLLLLL

Thank you Lioness, PlutoSquared & Lonake!!!

Lonake - That's crazy! I spotted some of those aspects, but wow the AC/DC rulers - I missed those! This synastry really seems marriage-like O_O
The one that jumped at me (you guys didn't mention it) is his Sun closely trine my Moon. I think I feel this one even more than the others.

I have a strong feeling that he would make a great husband and an amazing father.

That being said I am not "in love" with him.

But my Capricorn Moon is not one to marry for love anyway - and love can sometimes grow on me in time. I want to really think about this and see what we are LIKE together - in a relationship. I'm not sure whether to break things off and say: "Lets just have a relationship first and see where it goes." - or whether I may as well go along with it and call us "engaged".

Some engagements last years. I was thinking I could make up my mind in time anyway.

But do you think calling it an engagement is leading him on - when I am not sure yet?

That seriously cracked me up.

Something else I noticed is - this is one of the only men I've ever known or "known of" for that matter - who has BOTH Venus and Mars in aspect to BOTH Pluto and Neptune (in his natal chart) - like myself.
We have some deep history in common - not because we lived it together but because we had similar experiences - and these experiences marked us emotionally. So I feel very emotionally understood by him (That's why I sense the Sun trine Moon).

I was amazed to see that Venus/Mars/Sun conjunction in a grand trine with both of your Saturns... That is what stood out the most.

Definitely agree with DD. If he's serious, then it's not a game and not a lifetime decision made on a whim or under pressure. Definitely tell him.

Thanks PA and DD - I agree with you both.
I'll keep you posted tomorrow. We've been 'talking' but hmmmm It's kind of hazy..
I think he full expected a very positive reaction from me but there are things he doesn't know about. He's been working overseas on and off for the past two years, so we haven't seen each other that much. He said he missed me a lot and realized how much I meant to him. But during this time I got closer to Leo guy who I've mentioned on here.
I'm just not sure the rel. with Leo guy would ever materialize or "work" practically. We can't really make it official either and it could have a negative impact on his career/image.

One of the few negative aspects me & Taurus guy have is my Mercury square his Neptune. Sometimes things get lost in conversation. I want to make sure he never feels like I've led him on.

Wow! What a romantic and surprising story Im very happy for you both but please don't marry him unless you love and are in love with him. That would be just plain wrong wouldn't it not? I have a capricorn moon aswell, don't use that configuration to justify a bad descision, It wouldn't be healthy for either one of you? You'd be cheating yourself and him. And you both deserve to be engaged in a relationship for the right reasons. I wish you good luck and happiness whatever you decide to do.

Are you sure it wasn't a practical joke? Was there a ring. I'm sorry but this whole thing is so weird. You aren't even a couple.

Don't marry him out of just-wanting-to-be-married-syndrome. And don't base it on good synastry. It doesn't sound like you like him that way, really at all.

well i might be wrong too but....this doenst feel "right" for me...the vibes that you sent out are not of love,or that crazy out of the world happiness of being asked in marriage by the guy of your dreams.

if it was me,i wouldn't even know what words to use,and you seem so....rational and serious about it,commenting about saturn aspects and all...

im sorry but i woultn tell yes just cause seemed embaracing to have said no in front of the friends.

it is so weird cause you´re not even a couple!dont you feel this is a weird thing?but not a good-weird-thing-like-in-the-movies?

I get the same vibes about it as Diandra and Diana did.

But then again I know that my best friend wasn`t in love when she married. Not like I would like to be in love, crazy, blissfully, passionately, all consumed.
But the thing is SHE doesn`t like any of that "romantic nunsense".
She wanted someone she could trust and to build a life with. Plus she loved him and cared for him deeply. She just wasn`t IN love with him.
They are very happy together btw.

But they have been a couple at least before they married, and actually have been living together for a year or so.

I agree with DD and Diandra (and regarding what DD wrote about her friend, I would want the trust and the romantic nonsense. )

I think you might sound differently if this post had been about the Leo proposing... not that all marriages work out, that start out with fireworks. (Or maybe I'm wrong about how you would come across if it had been the Leo. I just wish you both well. I'm sure you'll do the right thing, if this isn't right for you both. )
