There are more indicators in the Natal Chart, where is shown: are we happy to live in the country, we were born or somewhere else?
My case: I couldn't live now in a home country, even if my Natal Chart would show that. There is all destroyed and in each 10th house somebody lives.

I am lucky in abroad or just beside the border: NN in the 9th.
I am lucky in the area of the mountains: cusp of the 4th is in Capricorn (animal that lives in the mountains in our language has the same name as the sign).
I was never lucky in a home country because ruler of my 4th, Saturn is in Cancer: opposite sign and in exile.
I love to live beside the water: ruler of my home is in water sign. Beside that, Saturn has trine with the Moon in Pisces: water again. In the book about Moon (natural ruler of the 4th) in Pisces: someday we are going to live beside the sea, even if that is very small isle.

Saturn, ruler of the 4th: I like old parts of the cities or old houses.

If the ruler of 4th is in 9th: person should live in abroad.
Cusp of the 4th in Sagittarius: the same.
Ruler of the 1st and 9th in the 9th: life in abroad.
If the 4th house is stronger than 9th: person should stay in the home country.
Saturn (in good aspects) in the 4th means that person is very bound to the family roots.
More planets in 9th, especially Jupiter there: life in abroad.
Cusp of the 4th in Pisces: life beside the sea side (or any water).
Something very important (I have it): the Moon in any aspect with Uranus: there will be many relocations.

What are your experiences?

Thank you,
B.

My IC is in Sag and Uranus is in the 4th house. I have a multicultural/racial background and I live far away from my birth place.

Jupiter, ruler of my IC is in Aqua/6th house (mutual reception with Sag Uranus), forming a t-square with Taurus Mars in the 9th and Scorpio Pluto in the 3rd. Mars is the ruler of my 9th, while Pluto doesn't rule anything since Scorpio/Taurus are capped in my chart (or maybe it's considered co-ruler?).
And my NN is also in Taurus/9th.

I'm happy with my life here, and don't think that I'd really be able to adapt to my birth place.
I kind of need to have a fixed place to call home thought, yet I do enjoy being in different places.

Here I have two famous persons, they have lived overseas:

She lived in abroad (overseas) from her 26th birthday until death:

2nd Natal Chart (actor):

I have just read, that he came back to home after living in London and Los Angeles from 1992: 18 years. He is going to live on the coast in the country, he was born.

Both of them have ruler of 7th in 12th (overseas): her husband was from overseas; his second wife is from overseas.

She has ruler of her ASC, Pluto in 9th (abroad). Pluto is slowest planet and she lived there for 27 years (until death). Pluto has trine with the Moon in Pisces (water): she lived beside the water.
I was there to see, how it looks like. For me is nothing better than our coast.

He has Uranus and NN in 9th: help from foreigners as also sudden leaving to abroad. It is true. Vanessa Redgrave did help him after his problems in his country. He lived first in London and then in Hollywood. It was good for him: to live in two countries and earn good money (Hollywood).
He also has the Moon in Cancer (water and home). Maybe is that the reason, he came back to home?

His Natal Chart is in my first Astrology book.
About Venus in 12th: why Astrologers write that this person is cheating the partner? I am sure that none of those two did cheat their partners.

Lara,

I don't read so much other people's post but I remember that you didn't know, what Ascendant you have.
Since when do you know exact ASC?
9th house is much more than only living in abroad. What is that in your case?

Since i asked my dad

In my case? I live my entire life out of my 9th house... seeking truth, living a spiritual existence, philosophically, being aware and conscious with my own beliefs. I am a prolific poster (not on here) on politics, religion, life, higher consciousness. By being my own boss and getting out and about finding inspiring jobs. Only working with evolved, inspiring, creative people. I have chart ruler cj mercury and i clock comments, use my well-honed brain to good use and don't waste others time. I theorise, explore and find diverse, dynamic solutions to problems in life. I am eternally optimistic.
Jupiter is also cj my AC in the 12th house.
I adapt to my environment and my work has always involved travelling. In fact, i crave travel but then i crave home lol

I have Imum Coeli in 11'14 Sagittarius, and its ruler Jupiter is in 8'17 Sagittarius in 3rd conjunct it.
My Geocentric South Uranus Node in 12'04 Sagittarius is in my 4th house and conjunct my Imum Coeli.

I have Taurus on the 9th house cusp, and my Venus is in 3rd house.

It is conjunct my chart ruler Mercury in 3rd, and so 9th house stuff is important in my life.

I have always been fascinated with other cultures. I joined the Navy to see the world, and I have been to other countries when I was in the Navy. I've fantasized about marrying a woman from another country.
I was romantically interested in women from other countries.
I've been an avid reader of Greek,Roman, and Norse mythology. I've read other books on mythology too. I also like the Arthurian Legends. I always had a fascination for England.

I have a multicultural, ethnic background. I was born from an interracial relationship. My mother has Venus conjunct her 9th house ruler Uranus which trines her Moon in 5th. Her other 9th house ruler Saturn is in 5th house trine Jupiter-Ascendant in Cancer in 1st and sextile Mars in Capricorn in 7th.My biological father had Venus in Sagittarius.

I had 3 half Japanese sisters, and one of them was born in Japan
I have 5th house ruler Saturn retrograde in 9th, and that indicates romance involving people of other cultures.

Both my 7th house rulers Jupiter and Neptune are in Sagittarius in 3rd,and they oppose the retrograde5th house ruler Saturn in 9th. Of course, Jupiter is my 4th house ruler too.

This strongly suggests that romantic partner could be a foreigner and could ultimately lead me to living in another country.

I am strong in Sagittarius in Heliocentric Chart which is said to be the higher self chart.

I have Mercury-Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius.
I have Jupiter and Neptune in Sagittarius.

My Mercury conjunct South Venus Node in Sagittarius, and my Venus and Jupiter conjunct South Uranus Node in Sagittarius.

DD,

Few days ago I wanted to ask you, where do you live? You are not in Germany. Ruler of 9th, the Sun in 1st!
Ruler of 4th, Mars in 12th!
Ruler of ASC, Jupiter in Pisces: beside the water?

Are you in England, maybe?

Glaucus,

OMG, I get eyes pains reading your post.
All you write must be perfect written explained and very, very clear.

You know also (for sure): where is that girl or woman for you?

I have seen Venus in Sagittarius and this person has somebody from other country. It is only Venus!
Your Chart is the proof, to be somewhere else and have somebody from abroad.

"All you write must be perfect written explained and very, very clear."

It's very important for me to be understood. That's my greatest desire in life. I am very complex person, and so I always had a tendency to be misunderstood by others.

I started off not being able to communicate through language, and so I was taught to do that through special education therapies. It helped me develop good language communication skills that are based on compensation.

Often times, I overcompensate out of fear of being misunderstood as well as fear of appearing stupid. Most of the time, I don't notice that because it's instinctive for me.

That's reflected by t-square of
Moon in 3'11 Pisces in 6th square the opposition of retrograde Saturn in 5'08 Gemini in 9th and Jupiter in 8'17 Sagittarius,Neptune in 1'48 Sagittarius in 3rd.

I live in my native country, but in a different city. Taurus on IC (fixed earth *sigh*), with Venus in Taurus in the 3rd, conjunct IC. Guess only short trips for me, it's likely I will continue to live here, though I'd love to try other countries for a while. 9th house is in Libra, with Saturn (chart ruler) and Pluto (MC ruler) there.

I live in my homecountry in Germany. Actually I just moved into a little flat (with own door) in our familie`s house.

My soul often is in England though, you`re right about that.

And I love the sea. Always feels like coming home.

DD,

After I wrote it about you and England, I thought a bit different:
Germany has sign of Aries;
your IC is in Aries;
ruler of your IC is Mars just on your ASC.
All that is right: you are in home country (for now).
You have so much time to move to England (or any country beside the water): as I know, England is partly Aries and partly Capricorn.
Remember: you are Sagittarius and most of them want to see the World or live somewhere else.

I love your Jupiter in Pisces (water) in own sign.

As my IC is in Capricorn: I love England (part of my Past life).
My DC is in Aries: England (again) and I was lucky in Germany.

Regards,
Bobbie

Raymond,

I had a thread about the partner (female or male):
how should look the partner (look in your Natal Chart);
where comes from (in Natal Chart):
where will you meet your partner (in Natal Chart);
And so on....

Try to look that.

Good luck, you deserve it.

Interesting thought, Bonadea.

I was more thinking along the lines that the ASC is very much tied to your place at birth, too, so it makes sense that I am living near to where I was born, since I have ruler of 4th house conjunct ASC.

Actually I think the whole first quadrant may relate to the "neighbourhood".

DD,

Good to know about first quadrant.
I have only one planet in the 1st quadrant, Jupiter (and Chiron: should be somewhere else).

There is also my South Node in the 3rd house, what means I am not very lucky with neighborhood; NN in the 9th shows that luck is somewhere else.

About quadrants: my 4th quadrant has 4 planets. What that means? There are the worst planets: Saturn, Mars, Neptune and Pluto.
I like my 3rd quadrant with the Sun, Venus, Uranus and NN.

My good friend has 4 planets in the 1st and 2 planets in 3rd. She travels a lot: with 34 years she has seen Australia, Cuba, Madeira, almost all Europe, Turkey and Morocco.
She is still at home in the house she was born: with her mother and father. Now I understand a bit more about her and about quadrants.

If you have many planets in fourth quadrant and also involved in strong or challenging aspects, then it might be that fate plays a great role in your life, which could also involve problems witha uthorities, career or healthproblems.
