What sign/aspect, etc. would cause a person to come off to others as very vulnerable?

This would be a surface impression that you would get of someone, just someone who seems very unguarded and defenseless, very open.

I think Cancer moons are really vulnerable, it's not just the impression. I think 4th house Suns seem vulnerable.

6th House Moon is a candidate, especially for ladies.

BTW, did you get my emails, Lonake?

Any water in the chart really.....might as well toss in Pisces too. I know about the Cancer moon waaaaaay toooo much. But my Sun In Aries doesn't like to appear vulnerable.

Could throw in the signs that worry too. I know a Senior Capricorn lady and she worries a lot and gets really excited and then fills with fear and does the whole rollercoaster ride there. If somebody said that Satan is on his way down from the heaven to get all the sinners - she would freak out and go hide in a foxhole somewhere....

maybe being NAIVE would also show some vulnerablity.

well, I would agree with Cancer..

I have cancer 0 degree in teh 11th house and then a nice old 12th house sun in cancer...so yeah...I would agree I am very very vulnerable.

I have dated a guy with a 6th house pices mooon, and he had a history of pple screwing him over, but then developed some nasty side effects from that...for compensating I think...so

yes on both from me

I can be either way: vulnerable, or tough/guarded.

I'm an Aries with Mars in Pisces, and a Scorpio ascendant. Chiron conjunct Sun.

Thanks guys, Yea I agree with Cancer that makes sense but then they are quite keen on protection and guarding themselves so it made me wonder, because I'm talking about someone with no defenses, just open...

Yes, iQ, thank you, I replied 2x

Ami Anne

I was drawing upon my own experience where there seems to be this perception by people around me that I'm quite vulnerable and that people feel the need to protect me or treat me with great sensitivity. I've had this all my life. I've often been told that I look that way, sad or just very quiet and sensitive, and a loner, vulnerable. The most prominent thing I can draw in my chart that explains this is the Chiron conjunct AC.

EDIT: I get a lot of comments about my eyes which, according to Zane Stein, is very typical Chiron conjunct AC. I think I took my pic down from here but there's one on FB.

i have moon in the 4th and neptune on the AC. because of the neptune, people seem to perceive me according to how THEY see things; it's quite odd. especially where i live now, which is on my neptune/AC line. astro.com refers to it as a 'projection screen' aspect and for me it couldn't be more true. however in itself, i think it makes me very vulnerable, or, succeptable. i constantly pick up other peoples' emotions without even realizing i'm doing so, so i have to be very careful.

my moon in the 4th is very vulnerable and sentimental. i cherish intimacy, goofy, cheesey, sappy intimacy more than anything (even in close frienships) and as this is a fairly unpopular position, i tend to hide this part of myself away and only let it out when i feel VERY safe.

so i would have to say pisces/neptune, just because i am unaware of the degree of my openness (i also have pisces SN) and i'm either a projection screen, or so open i don't realize i'm not 'me' anymore. maybe being an aqua sun (and even taurus moon) is part of this, as i'm not really one to try to 'fit' anyone's expectations; i'm perfectly okay being me and being, well, odd and ethereal and strange-seeming. i'm grounded in it. hah.

Thank you, PA
I see.
I feel vulnerable with my Cancer moon. However, when my Ego(Gemini Sun) was stronger ,I did not feel vulnerable, particularly.

Now,I feel vulnerable but usually my Pluto will kick in when I need it, Thank Goodness

Ami Anne

Maybe the awareness of it just shifted instead of the actual feelings? I feel my vulnerability through my Moon too, but with it being in Aquarius in 11th I can distance quite well, or just intellectualise, or cast aside (only to catch up later, of course). My Moon sextiles my Sun so there's a harmony between the ego and my feelings for me. I'm finding now that I'm enjoying feeling vulnerable. I think it's just trusting people around me to be more gentle with me (my heart, maybe) or I trust myself more that I can handle things.

People with more conj ,square and opposition in the chart are not so vulnerable as people with most sextile and trine in a chart.

I have met several people with cancer moon and none of them look vulnerable to me. I believe that it may be something related to the moon aspecting the ascendent in relation to chiron or neptune? it is just a thought, no base for my assumptiom.

I just remember someone with neptune in the first and he gave this impression. it was a sun piscis.

I think that Moon square or opposition Saturn (mostly square) would make a person vulnerable.

I think more uranus and moon in connection and also uranus /AC/moon connection. Moon and saturn in aspect make people cold because it's a climber aspect especially the square.

popcorn, I disagree.

Moon square Saturn makes someone very insecure, sensitive, melancholic and depression prone. A person with such aspect is not cold at all, he or she only hides their feelings very well-because they don't want to be hurt again

Moon in aspect to Uranus however makes you very restless in emotional matters. Even ruthless when your freedom is threatened. Someone with aspect like that woul be more aloof than someone with Moon-Saturn aspect.

I have both in my natal chart: Moon square Saturn and Moon opposition Uranus/conjunct ASC, so I know what I'm talking about.

I'm a moon in sagittarius square saturn.
My male friend (OOH LAA LAAAAAAA) is a scorpio moon square uranus.

He's like this:
Spends all of his time with you and becomes erratic and coocoocachoo out of no where.
I'm like this:
Spends all of my time alone, then hangs out with you and is a rag.

But at the end of the day, our aspects mix a little with the moons and we get along.
Really well actually.

in my opinion having the moon in the third house can make you vulnerable in a way,i have this, even though the rest of my chart is aquarius i wear my heart on my sleeve, and the more people know about you the more they can hurt you
