OP is asking about how peopel 'come accross' to others, wouldn't this be Ascendant ??? classic saturn in 1st would knock anyone's confidence, uranus could be bit quirky, and pluto downright secretative... IP: Logged |

really? I have sun in 4th and am not 'vulnerable' Any moon can be vulnerable, it ALL depends on which house and how it's aspected so talking about generics such as a planet is a sign is ONLY taking into account 1/3 of what you should be talking about, the other 2/3 are house and aspects. Personally I would prefer to SEE a chart where planets are posited and how they are aspected for a more full picture rather than seeing just 1/3 of a picture.!!!! IP: Logged |

Why might that be? wherever moon is placed is where we *seek nurturance* and give back nurturance. So maybe in 6th they would want to be mother hen type but also a worrier (6th house virgo influence) Cancer and Virgo are both major *worriers* IP: Logged |

That's true, but "everyone is going to hurt you. You just have to find the ones worth suffering for..." Hm.... Bob Marley, anyone?

Exactly, but they are worriers. I think we should focus on first house placements like neptune or saturn, as they MAY appear vulnerable... Saturn in the 1st house Gives the willpower to finish off jobs. You may take life and yourself seriously, but with dignity. Good sense of justice and will be able to lead others and make plans for them. You will seldom speak or act without a definite purpose. You make a loyal friend. Always want value for money. Never get fat or drunk because of pride. Don't like throwing things away. May well be a horder. If Saturn is conjunct the Ascendant the birth could have been difficult one: the soul was reluctant to come in. This position gives early maturity: the person is born "old" and gets younger in attitude as he grows older.Shy and introverted. Makes an early start in life. Needs to cultivate self confidence and a sense of their own worth. Ability to work hard and through determination, persistence and self-control can achieve success in life. Early life was probably austere and disciplined and not apt to have a feeling of being loved in the early part of life. There can be great deal of selfishness and self-centredness if Saturn is afflicted. Instinctively conservative and sensitive to the restrictions of authority and their environment. Some meet failure at every turn, while others achieve success by sheer hard work and dedication. To succeed they need to develop a sense of inner authority and ¬self discipline. Wherever your Neptune is, "is where you carry your cross and where you will be called upon to make a sacrifice!" True sacrifices are never usually recognised, or else they could turn into martyrdom! Neptune in lst House – angular house Should try to avoid alcohol and drugs. Often have an air of mystery about you. Indicates a sensitive intuitive awareness of yourself and your environment. Highly impressionable. Certainly artistic and a great appreciation of music. Dreamy innocent look drift off when talking! Dissatisfied with appearance in some way ie; manner, looks. Sometime appear to live in world of own. Idealist. Physical appearance probably something you don't care for. People may often say to you look at me when I'm talking to you! Can daydream with eyes wide open. Neptunian illnesses movements affected will walk funny at least with one foot. (twine toed as small child or when first walking ) Mysterious allergies on skin or where obvious, and suddenly disappear. IP: Logged |

Even ruthless when your freedom is threatened. Someone with aspect like that woul be more aloof than someone with Moon-Saturn aspect. I have both in my natal chart: Moon square Saturn and Moon opposition Uranus/conjunct ASC, so I know what I'm talking about.
I think the WHOLE chart needs to be taken into account and NOT just odd aspects. I have moon square uranus angular and I'm not restless in emotional matters, I do however have a stellium in placid laid back taurus there is always the danger of identifying with a certain aspect in our own charts and saying This or this. I have uranus angular in 7th.. So Uranus in first is totall different.. The sign position of Uranus indicates our restlessness and what for us is individual, modern and thrilling. The house position of Uranus indicates where we desire free expression, seek to be different, and where things get turned upside down! Shocks, surprises, upheavals, freedom, independence. Uranus being a higher octave of mercury, like Neptune is a higher octave of venus. The house Uranus is in is where we seek to be different, want free expressions and where things get turned upside down.
Uranus in lst House – Angular house You will have a strong drive for personal freedom and will seek out unusual friends and activities. Individuality very strong Unusual in some way. often possessing scientific and intuitive talents. Personal behaviour unpredictable. Good organiser and leadership qualities. Occasionally act the opposite of what is expected of you. Dissatisfied with appearance in some way (quite common hippy type, earring through noses, bright coloured pink or red hair etc.) Can dress provocatively – aiming to shock. Very original theories and methods of working. Erratic and sudden impulses not always understood, not only by others but by themselves. Not a conformist and apt to be too direct and blunt with opinions. Must surrender the willfulness inherent in this position.

Taking one or even two aspects without takinng the whole chart into consideration is what can give astrology a bad name, with misunderstandings rife.Moon squ Saturn can sometimes be rather cool emotionally, bit like cappi moon in detriment But for real depression I would look for saturn hard aspect neptune. Saturn conj Neptune http://astrologyforthesoul.com/billstreett/satnepgestalt.html http://astrology.astrozoom.com/index.php?title=NEPTUNE_CONJUNCTION_OR_PARALLEL_TO_SATURN Saturn conj/square/opposite neptune can show a fear of the unknown..although these are generational planets, posited in bottom left quadrant makes them felt internally...It can also be linked to depression when triggered and/or having your childhood dreams crushed by father, males and/or authority figures.

chiron conjuncts my cancer rising. My taurus moon trine neptune and jupiter also. I sort of wear my heart on my sleeves or thats how I've been described. Usually I try to conceal my emotions (all that gemini influence) and smile but people can see it in my eyes. People are usually really gentle with me especially people far older will try and baby me. Even thou I'm faaaarrrrrr from innocent. I'm usually extremely nice to people and its easy to take advantage of me because I can be so trusting at times. I usually a good judge of character so I'm really choosey about who I consider a friend or just an acquaintance.IP: Logged |

I'm a 6th house moon lady. I definitely can be inside and out at times. Open book around those I trust and feel a good connection with...but pretty much anyone who makes it obvious they aren't cool with me, I'm probably gonna make myself closed off to them. And some times I do that whole 'I'm feeling you out' Scorpio stare when I'm getting to know someone. My moon and Pluto are here. Ya know the whole being reserved but open to getting to know someone...and slowly reveal more about yourself thing. IP: Logged |
