Yeah, my sister is a taurean with Venus in Aries and she can be terrible. Very, very opinionated and tries to push her beliefs and ways onto other people.

However, she is friendly and compasionate.

Its definitely all fire. My bff is a Sag Sun combined with an Aries Mars and Scorpio Venus and she likes to make drama out of everything; she can't even tell of going to Subway without inserting some sort of drama in it. Her Virgo Moon is barely noticeable..hahahaha.

I'll even admit that as an Arien Mars, when I get angry....I put on a SHOW. I am seeing nothing but red. This mars also happens to be square Uranus/Saturn, and Uranus Square is closer..LOL.

I really can't stand the daily theatrics of fire mooners though. Drives me nuts, I want to tell them to just chill out...lol.

I was thinking about this last night: in general I hate drama and confrontation because I have a Libra Moon, but at the same time its opposite Jupiter in Aries and I can't help speaking up. If I don't say anything it bothers me. Once I make my thoughts known, I feel better lol.

I get what you're saying. I prefer more simple interactions as a Virgo Moon. Even being very moody Cancerian, I try keep to myself in brooding periods. But when I'm mad, my afflicted Aries Mars gets the better of me. >.<

Okay, I'll agree with Leo but I'll throw in the water signs as well.

My Gemini Daughter has a whole swack of planets in Cancer and she is dramatic I tell you. One little upset and it's good bye cruel world - you HURT my feelings and now I'm gonna run away.

I wish I knew what happened.

I agree with fire. I also agree very strongly with water.

Since this happened during all the scorpio stuff I am wondering if Lara has her AC/DC axis in taurus/scorpio. I didn't see any of the thread in question so I don't know what the fight was over etc. but fighting in general makes me think AC/DC.

I guess that it has a lot to do with aspects, maybe more than sign placements, coz I know of a Virgo Sun/Moon/Mars and he just has this dramatic temper lol (Moon and Mars are conjunct).

I'm Aries Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus, with the last 3 conjunct each other, but I guess that my dramatic side would be from Pluto/Saturn in the 3rd/Scorpio. XP

I find that people with Mercury & Mars squared in fixed signs can be very dramatic. Especially those with Mercury in Leo Square Mars in Taurus or Scorpio.

I can't deny, I can be quite dramatic.

Sun in Aries/10th
Moon & Mercury in Pisces/9th
Mars in Taurus/11th
Venus in Aquarius/8th
Cancer Rising

Oh how I laughed when someone said that to me...made it out to be a bad thing lol..plus I have been called a drama queen more times than i can count...to be honest I dont see anything in my chart that would show this though..

I am most heavily Air as an element. I don't think I am a drama queen at all and have never been described as one.
I am thinking `that ,perhaps, Air is too detached and masculine as an energy to be a drama queen.
What do you think?

Fire + Water

I'll add that one, too.
It's the opposite of rational.

hmm, i have mars conjunct mercury '02 deg apart in aqua in my 2nd. for me i don't think it manifests as dramatic at all. rather i ruminate CONSTANTLY. i'm at once both a fast and slow thinker but it's like i can't escape my MIIIIND.. maybe my taurus moon just takes me over and keeps me calm? or my aqua sun says, eh, whatever, when i start to feel upset? once engaged in an emotional sense i can go for a good debate WITH someone who's being dramatic. i think i onlly get REALLY UPSET at anyone probably, oh, once every couple of years, and that is after MUCH MUCH sitting on it, letting crappy behaviours slide over me.

My friend with a lack of water in the chart would hit you over the head with some sort of platitude while your heart was aching and needing some sort of heart answer.

my response to that, though i have a fair amount of water in my chart is that it shows water in its co-dependent form. that "platitude" may actually be the result of life experience...theirs!

why is it so hard for people to detach themselves for a minute and see that maybe the "offender" was raised differently, has had different experiences, etc?

why is it so hard to voice one's opinion online without SOMEone taking it personally?

grand entrances and exits certainly do match up with leo ascendants. but i have been accused of highhandedness and/or bitchiness (as well as communist tendencies) when all i was doing was presenting a counter-view. i have merc in virgo, it cannot see just one side to the story and it will defend to the death its right to probe, examine, and argue till the truth outs. nothing to do with my leo sun/pluto (which lie in a string of leo placements from 2-18 degs)

but a strong aries emphasis DOES just come right out and say what they think, often having trouble seeing how brazen they seem, and usually genuinely hurt that others are offended. my daughter has 3 aries planets, moon and asc in leo, and 3 sag planets. she is as sweet as pie but also a warrior woman who is truly baffled when people think she is being brutal. in fact she is loudest when she feels SHE has been attacked. she will bend over backwards to be nice to people even if she is not fond of them, just to support their feelings..

if someone comes on a little strong with their opinions, why is it so hard to either walk away or stand fast and GENTLE in your own?

Well, Kat, with expressing one's opinion, as with everything else, there is a balance

But Ami, Leo is a masculine sign and it's known for being the most dramatic of all the signs Masculine just means that the sign is active. Feminine signs are receptive.

In that thread, I thought no one was really wrong, but everyone was set in their own "truths" so to say and because of that it was a real no win situation.

I confess I get very defensive about my truths. (Mars in the 9th house)

And I have "feelings" behind those truths (Moon opposite Mars) that need to be expressed, but it is difficult because of the opposition energy.

Yes, Amwols, very true.
I guess Air is detached but are ALL Air signs masculine?
I can't remember?
What is it? Fire and Air are Masculine .
Water and Earth are feminine.

OK---I see what you mean, Amwols

I guess that Air would tend not to be a drama queen

This is the way I am, most of the time. (Bending over backwards to not hurt someone else. I remember one time when a family member was trying to make me angry, and I was reminding myself that she was very upset - *why* she was so upset - and that it would be fine. I ended up raising my own voice just enough to satisfy her, when I realized that she really just wanted some type of reaction out of me, and we were okay later on.)

My mother used to remark on my being so laid-back. This past year, I told her that I miss being that way, and she said, "me, too!"

I'm an Aries Sun, Mercury, Chiron, Ceres and Jupiter (earlier in the sign, opposing Pluto and squaring Saturn). Gemini Moon + Venus sextile Jupiter, and trine Pluto, square Pisces Mars (which trines my Uranus/ascendant). I think I have enough to set me off under the right circumstances, but also enough to keep me calm under most circumstances.

My sister is a Cappy Sun, with a Sadge Mars, and you don't want to make her angry. (But it blows over quickly, just like the rest of us with fire.)

Me? I've decided to leave here several times, feeling the same way, but I kept it to my journal. It would usually coincide with other things going on in my life, I'd been feeling very hurt, and I'd vent there. I always drift back, and I hope she isn't gone for good, just because I think she usually does mean well.

My son, with his Leo moon, walks away with the award for most dramatic person EVER. And he's turning six, yet he instinctively knows how to perform for any audience. If I could videotape his routines, I would post them. You don't know whether to laugh or run away.

But then, there's my mother, who's Capricorn but has Mercury conjunct Mars, and I don't know if that's responsible for her high dramatics, maybe she's a Leo rising, I don't know time of birth, but she gave a deposition once opposite an attorney in a case in which my father was attacked by another passenger on a plane; the attorney asked her, after a few minutes, "Ma'am, are you an actress?" My father used to tell that story with great relish, for years.

Charlize Theron had someone approach her about an acting job - or contacting someone as a potential agent, I forget which - when she freaked out in a bank, and drew a lot of attention. (Of course, she's gorgeous, too - no mistaking that.)

She's a Leo, but I don't know the rest of her placements.

Anne of Green Gables was a (mostly) sweet drama queen. I wonder if she was modelled on someone from the author's life (or herself).

oh wow, anne of green gables, about the most arien girl in literature! the red hair, the impulsive escapades and disasters that followed...the incessant talk! loved her to death, but then the book was written from her point of view, and that does make most of the difference!

and i dunno when the last time i said oh wow was!

my mother was also an aries (which makes me a leo sandwich on mars i guess) but a very repressed one, brought up largely in a convent....she had taurus moon, pisces venus and virgo mars, and scorp rising, so not overly fiery, and with saturn in leo repressing her self-expressive urges, she was maybe the quietest aries i've ever met. but she could cut you down to the ground with a couple of (softly spoken) words or a look...and used to drive my taurus father with conj aries mars/venus CRAZY. so he expressed BOTH their anger double loud...but he got over it in a minute and she would smoulder for hours. i would rather have the high volume no-grudge kind of anger ANY day of the week.

charlize theron, sun, moon, merc leo, venus virgo mars taurus...i think. her date of birth is kicking around on the net somewhere cos I checked her out a while back.

drama? it depends, I can be dramatic but I really have to be provoked, fixed cross with merc(9th),mars(6th),jupiter(3rd) and asc scorp, my jupiter tends to be the one doing the expressing, I don't like scenes though and will walk away from conflict or other peoples dramas, if I have to take a stand I will....I'd just rather hide lol

and i've got an aries moon which rarely if ever shows itself in public, My scorp asc really does limit the expression and I've got a venus/pluto con in the 10th so I am very controlled to outside appearances.
