Well, I don't squeal anymore but some I find very attractive in a purely aesthetic fashion are:

Jeffery Dean Morgan

Ewan McGregor

George Clooney

Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran

Richard Kruspe from Rammstein

Banx, did you just call me stunted?

*slaps aries stellium and pisces mercury on the wrist and slowly backs out of the thread*

(This is me, distributing copies of "Conversations with God" to all my acquaintances, and then being given the blank look. And now I've done it again. Well, I guess I'll never learn )

That sounds like you're really really ungrounded. I've heard of someone with extremely bad kundalini shocking people in the same manner. You need an electrical circuit to use kundalini effectively which means you need ground. I can tell when I'm ungrounded because electronics malfunction around me and the lights flicker on a routine basis. When it's really bad I've turned on and off lights by intention alone.

I use a grounding visualization out of Debra Katz' books, and I have to recreate the ground every day on top of constantly visualizing excess energy going into the ground. There are many good grounding visualizations out there, but mine wasn't very successful until I visualized a huge grounding cord connected to my aura/root chakra. Sometimes I ask for help from angels to ground at times and I've gotten help from devas too. On top of that, pick up some physical activity that puts you in your body, ideally running or walking. Spend time in nature or sit up against a tree and try to energetically ground with the tree. Many people including illuminati believe you can talk to trees so I generally try to ask and be respectful about using it for a ground. I would also stop all meditation until you can properly ground yourself as it adds fuel to the fire. Concentration will do the same thing, and sometimes I think I shouldn't be on this board at all because I'm pushing my luck .

I have energy that comes out of my hands at times, and I do think it's more common when kundalini is bad. It may be related to excess energy or you're sending out healing energy unconciously which I do when I think about wanting to heal something. Supposedly prickly type energy in your hands can also be a sign of a blockage, but I can't remember where/what .

I've also gotten into the habit of eating root vegetables every day which I feel helps (it is recommended in Aghora II Kundalini.. a tantric book). Sugar can spike kundalini as well so diet is important. When you're handling tremendous energies and clearing blockages your judgment will be impaired inbetween moments where you'll seem to channel genius out of your mouth, so be very mindful and take it easy/low stress. Also remember the genius is not yours. You are merely a vehicle for it's expression. I would also try to keep an unconditionally loving stance towards everything as much as possible. See them as the divine expressions of god. Being negative with kundalini makes it so much harder, and you'll already be processing a lot of your own blockages anyway. Depending on the chakra you're clearing will depend on some emotional things you feel. Don't be surprised if you feel extremely arrogant one day and condescending towards everyone and the next day you feel like a worthless speck of dirt. I got into the habit of laughing at it recently and just thinking of how silly it was when we were all equal divine expressions of god and it doesn't seem as powerful. You -have- to accept whatever you feel. Be with it. You can't suppress it. You have to transmute it. Every part of you deserves to be loved.. even the negative. I would read up on this subject because I'm still a neophyte, keeping in mind that the concentration and focus on kundalini will make it worse.

On days where I have bad kundalini I usually feel amazing at first due to the kundalini and then the blockage clearing work kicks in and I feel miserable. Frequently I can't focus to save my life when it's bad too.

Sorry for getting carried away on this thread for something else

Some people on here have serious misconceptions if you think Matchbox 20 is a band that is commercial. They didn't even win a grammy.

Anyway, I'm glad I riled up some people on here just for saying I like Rob Thomas. Thanks for the flattery.

I would also like to point out that Rob Thomas is famous for a reason. The guy can sing, he writes amazing. Get over it.

Uhhh... Matchbox 20 is mainstream/commercial. And they've been nominated for Grammy awards, just haven't won them (which might say a lot). They've hit #1 on the Hot 100, which basically screams "MAINSTREAM." Obscure indie band, they are not.

Anyway this is kind of a funny argument. Like, Matchbox 20 is whatever. There are way worse bands out there.

Speaking of which, I used to think Ville Valo from HIM was really hot. I didn't even like his band. He has a lot of Sag placements (like the other guys I posted).

Who cares about indie bands. I live in LA and there are endess people who want to be famous and think they are talented and they aren't. Sorry.

The story is old already. If you're talented, you're talented. Most likely you will be recongnized, if not, move on and realize you suck.

Wow, they are commercial and haven't even won a grammy yet. Man, they suck. Thanks for clearing that up. I figured a band that took it from the man as much as matchbox 20 does would have to win a sh1tty grammy.

And Rob Thomas himself did win a grammy.

Mochai, thanks for the reply. Excellent read! Yeah! I know what you mean. I had those mood swings for about 3 months about a month ago but I think I broke through it. Some days I would be meditating and I would think of something like the atrocities of the African slave trades and I would start crying uncontrollably. There were times I felt so useless and I feel like I am on the other side of those up and downs at the moment.

"She said I don't know if I've ever been good enough
I'm a little bit rusty, and I think my head is caving in
And I don't know if I've ever been really loved
By hand that's touched me, well I feel like something's gonna give
And I'm a little bit angry, well

This ain't over, no not here, not while I still need you around
You don't owe me, we might change
Yeah we just might feel good

(Chorus)
I wanna push you around, well I will, well I will
I wanna push you down, well I will, well I will
I wanna take you for granted, I wanna take you for granted, yeah I will, I will

Well I will

She said I don't know why you ever would lie to me
Like I'm a little untrusting when I think that the truth is gonna hurt ya
And I don't know why you couldn't just stay with me
You couldn't stand to be near me
When my face don't seem to want to shine
'cuz It's a little bit dirty well

Don't just stand there, say nice things to me
I've been cheated I've been wronged you,
And you don't know me, I can't change
I won't do anything at all "

Man, that sh1t is deep. He is so talented. I could never write anything this complex.... I feel so inferior. He can even sing that sh1t too!

Lol convenient arguments are the best, right.

The best bands are the ones that don't have a lot of mainstream, lowest common denominator appeal. Like, Beach House (which is "famous" amongst certain types of people, but I doubt my mom could tell me who they were) easily has the best album of 2010. M83 is better than Matchbox 20, but not as famous. But then again, comparing Beach House/M83 to Matchbox 20 is like comparing apples to oranges anyway.

The Beach Boys is a more apt comparison, but even then Beach House aren't as poppy.

HAHAHA!!! Yeah okay. Sounds like every other college bro band (Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, etc) that you listen to while drinking natty light and playing beer pong. They sound like every other "alternative" rock band from the late 90s/early 00s... CREED, Nickelback, Pearl Jam.

They do not sound anything like those bands you mentioned. Nobody can sing live like Rob Thomas, not even your Beatles wannabes.

Nope.
