U r projecting a bit,she was a looker,but not as much.

We obviously have different standards of beauty.
Venus in the 12th would mean her beauty factor wouldn't have been displayed so readily to the public.Ava Gardner wasn't as beautiful as Grace Kelly. IP: Logged |

She had thick eyebrows and thiner lips.
Her venus at6 degrees could conjunct asc. And a.jolie is also 12th H venus even if it's less than a degree.
Any house can contradict itself. There are so many power/limelight hungry 12th H suns.
Standards of beauty? Well,that's philosophical subject... And we are off the subject a lot

You mean her looks, style, or all together? As far as looks, I think she's an unconventional beauty. Not classically beautiful, but somehow alluring anyway (yep, a Scorpio rising trait). Her style for the most part I thought was good. She handled herself gracefully as a public figure, but as a person, I agree about not understanding the fascination.IP: Logged |

A perfect word-uncoventional! That would explane many people who are into her...and other that are not Well,there is a veil of fakeness about her. She had bird-like facila features,wide,strong horizontal lines which add to the symmetry,and again she is not symmetrical. I understand she was chained by her position. Also her voice. She had the the look of character. But voice? Contradictions that are not attractive. I thought that could never happen ) same feeling i get from michelle obama. Too much PR.------------------

Um, Angelina Jolie is a first house Venus.

And because she has cancer asc she can't have 12th H venus?? she has 28 degree 09' venus and 28 degree 55' asc. That is still 12th H (i 'd say it's that strong because of exalted by position venus+ applying with asc,and she is strong cancer asc,attractive=too much of everything,accentuated features ) and u may say that is sooo conjuct asc that it doesn't have influence in 12th H... I have planet that is a minute in one house,and it is incredible how it rocks both ways
Grace had thick eyebrows. U don't have to be brooke shields to be with thick eyebrows look at her pic from her princess era,arched,full eyebrows! Still looking good but not for camera anymore,she could shed makeup (she didn't had to look in a certain way.)

This is an interesting topic, I think.
Recently (now that I've been getting deeper and deeper into astrology) I've come to notice a pattern emerging in my taste in men.
I seem to have a very strong bent towards men with very strong Leo in their charts. Virgos and Taurus people are usually very attractive to me as well. And so are Aquarius.The guy I like right now is a Cancer. I used to say Cancer suns drove me out of my mind (in a bad way) because I could never tell what was really going on with them, always hiding behind that smile (I'm an Aquarius with Aries rising, you see?). I don't like when I can't tell what people's "intentions" are, what they're thinking. But this guy, well, let's just say he's nothing like that. I still can't tell most of what's behind those eyes, but I found that his natal chart is brimming with Leo. I don't know what his rising sign is but I wouldn't be surprised if it was any of those signs (Leo, Virgo or Taurus). I just really admire Leos it seems. I instinctively like them. Taurus too. I have a huge crush on Ben McKenzie (a Virgo). He pretty much embodies what I find attractive in a guy (well, he could be a little taller). He seems to be a very leveled person and he's pretty funny too.
 Absolutely adore Edward Norton (a Leo with a Scorpio ascendant).
 Christian Bale has always been close to my heart, he's an Aquarius. I've had an Aquarius bf and a very steamy crush that was one too. I like the humanitarian side they usually display. A big love for all living things is always a plus in my books. And Christian has it. Plus he's just gorgeous.
 Jeffery Dean Morgan has already been mentioned here (the man's a babe), that's another Taurus. Along with Russell Crowe (Aries Sun with Aquarius rising, he's just so sexy and charming) and Javier Bardem (the man's got to have a Taurus Ascendant or something). They all look alike, don't they? McKenzie's a younger, less scruffy looking, Rusty Crowe I think. To finish, one man I think is just... drop dead gorgeous would have to be Rutger Hauer: Roy Batty, Blade Runner. Need I say more? What a man.
An Aquarian with Leo Rising.
 The funny thing is. Supposedly my perfect mate would have to have a lot of Sagittarius in them. I don't think I know any Sagittarius people that I fancy. It's sad.
Maybe that's why my love life is nonexistent. (forgot Keanu Reeves, Virgo goodness, rawr)

I think Grace Kelly was sophisticated loveliness, Audrey Hepburn was sassy classy, Marilyn Monroe was sweetly sexy and Ava Gardner was sultry sexy. Phew- that was a mouthful! I think in terms of physical beauty and otherworldliness, Vivien Leigh takes the cake. On topic- male celebrities that I like- in no particular order- Cary Grant, Paul Newman, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Johnny Depp. IP: Logged |

His broken nose... Charm... That charm hits you right out of the screen!!! I partly associate his charm with the fact that he is from spain... Spanish men are fanastic!

Vivien Leigh- average? Nope. Her eyes were spectacular. Only Elizabeth Taylor's rivals hers.Chacun a son gout- to each, their own. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder.

Yes to the bird-like. My Scorp Rising roommate often gets compared to birds lol. She also has straight eyebrows. Ditto with a thin upper lip. I'm going to go with Astro Databank's data. If you're making the case that Grace Kelly is a Libra Rising because she is the "most beautiful" (to you) actress then we'll be at a crossroads. There are uglies of every sign, just like there are beauties of every sign, too. The only site that says that Grace Kelly is a Libra rising is the unreputable LibraRising.com. Astro Data Bank and Astrotheme both say Scorpio Rising. I don't think that speaking many languages is a definite trait for Gem rising. I speak 4 languages fluently and I'm a Taurus rising! My dad and mom speak 6 and he's Virgo rising and my mom's Cap rising. I have a best friend who's Gem rising and she can talk, for sure, but only in English (never had a desire to learn any other languages).
Personally, I think it's more a product of your upbringing than anything else. Nat's family probably spoke several languages and encouraged her to speak them as well. As far as her rising sign is concerned, I have no idea. But she might be scorp rising- there's definitely something magnetic about her eyes. IP: Logged |
