First and foremost, I am a Pisces guy and I had quite a good time reading all the "Complains" here on this forum about how Pisces men are kinda weird when it comes to declaring their love and all.. I kinda agree. Its damn confusing, atleast for me.

Anyways, What I have noticed is that, even though I dont like hearing or watching Romantic stories/movies, I always liked and could relate to movies in which there was Unrequited love track between the leads. I have noticed that I did the same thing in my life too. I have never openly declared how I felt about a certain person and always "escaped" when I could sense that some "heated Romantic talk" was coming up.. Is it just me or Many Pisces Men are like this?

No it's not all pisces.

It could be a Venus/Pluto aspect in your chart, I don't know, you can post it if you want.

Haha, I'm a Gemini woman, but I totally get what you mean. Everyone I've ever really really wanted and loved got away. I never let myself actually try to go for them either.

Pisces men are a little passive.

Dear Lonake
HOW would a Venus/Pluto aspect be like a Pisces man??
(Sounds like a riddle--why did the chicken cross the street )

Venus.Pluto is one of the markers for unrequited love.

So,Lonake, in the natal, which aspects would be a marker for unrequited love--the conjunction, square ,trine ?
Thanks so much, as usual

Personally I'd look at Neptune for unrequited love...the victim/martyr complex,
I think Pluto gets involved if there is a lot of obsession with it or compulsive behaviour.

Do you mean unrequited love as in ...you know there is no chance of being with them and you still want to love them or do you believe there is a chance and its just circumstance getting in the way?

Even uranus could be involved if its a highly idealised form of unrequited love...but I'd still go for neptune first and foremost.

You know I'm impressed that you are being so upfront about this online - because most Pisces men I know wouldn't even mention something like this in an anonymous setting.

Here is my Pisces Mercury assessment:

quote:
have never openly declared how I felt about a certain person and always "escaped" when I could sense that some "heated Romantic talk" was coming up

Once you get past this stage in romance - and you openly declare your feelings - things become REAL. Having a relationship is not always pretty.
It's very difficult to see an every day, normal relationship as a work of art.
On the other hand, it's easy to see a fling (whether physical or psychological) & an unrequited-love situation - as a work of art (a film, a book, a painting etc.) because of the emotional intensity involved.

So when you care about someone, you're attached to the dream of them - (the movie running in your mind).. and you don't want to burst that bubble by making things too earthy and real.

I think it's 'kind of' common in Pisces men... But as Lonake was saying, this behaviour is more likely if there is a personal planet 2 Pluto aspect (and possibly Neptune).

Also, in my experience with Pisces guys - they only react this way when they are seriously INTO a girl.

These same Pisces men could have a full blown relationship with a girl who they are reasonably attracted to and feel affection for in a friendly way.

But when they feel intensely about someone they are soooooooooo afraid to ruin things - they just can't get close. They often stare when she isn't looking and they can do this for stretched out periods of time - but they simply can't touch the bubble, for fear of bursting it.

Would the neptune person or the planet person have the unrequited love?

Would a specific planet/Angle be more susceptible to it?

I wonder if two people both have hard neptune aspects to each other, could both feel the unrequited love?
Meaning each feeling that the other want not want to be with them, so both keep their silence..

What seems the be the theme with Pisces men, is the running off.. Even for no reason, which leaves the girl confused, feeling rejected.. Then comes back like nothing, all nice and sweet, and then you turn around and bam where did he go?????

Im a pisces asc, I have to admit I do the same thing.. But when it came back around to me.. I was like WTF!!

What are your planet placements??

Lets see who's pisces guy you compare with... lol

lhab, I am so glad you have joined L.L. I can pick your brain about your Pisces Sun. What are your other personal planets, if I may ask please? I am sure you have seen a few of my Topics on my Pisces male friend.

He gets stressed whenever I bring up any feelings and if I tell him that I love him. He tells me to slow down even though it has been a year. Therefore, I need to explain to him that there are different kinds of love and that I care for him deeply as a friend. Then he is alright again.

Betty Bop, I appreciated your reply as well. Very informative regarding how he could be afraid that the 'greatness' bubble might burst.

Pisces men (this is from my own experience with them) tend to hold up an ideal/dream woman in their heads. They continuously want to find her, but at the same time don't want to get close enough to see the faults. They tend (again, this is from what I've experienced) to have relationships with more than one person at the same time because then they can get what they need at once. Because usually one woman cannot meet their standards.

They are often disappointed over and over because the people they love turn out to be human and come with their faults as well as their strengths.

Just what I've intuited. I've been a Pisces man's girlfriend, lover, and enemy.

The only reason I mentioned this here is because it is Anonymous (in a virtual world) and no one knows me. Otherwise, I keep my feelings well inside me when confronting people face to face.

By the way, you are right about how we don't let normally disclose our feelings to a stranger. Leave stranger aside, I have difficulties telling it to my friends itself.

There are so many different types of Pisces men its really hard to pinpoint if their a fan of unrequited love. I know from experience there are Pisces that express how they feel or ones that tend to express themselves through body language. I'm still slightly swooning over a Pisces boy, but I know there is nothing there, perhaps I'm a fan of unrequited love and I have Pisces moon.
