Well, my first idea was Scorpio as well, but the Cappy ASC makes pretty much sense as well.
With a Scorpio-ASC, Venus would rule the 12th house, and the ruler of ASC maybe would be in 12th house. But probably there would nothing be anymore in 6th house.

With the Cappy-ASC, Pluto actually would be square the ASC, being placed in 8th house.

(Probably he would surprise us and having either a Pisces or Sagittarius-ASC, cause it seems ALL celebrities that get my attention and me into research mode have that. ).

Lonake,

"His Dad leaving the family (also which I didn't know) speaks a great deal to the Sun sq Uranus, very classic for that."
I agree.

" The Sun/Uranus are the rulers of the 2nd/8th house of resources and riches, maybe the loss of the father had a negative impact on the family finances and led to low worth,"
I think it`s clear to see that he has self-worth issues. But it even had the literal effect, as the family had just little ressources, and I think he was even spending some time in an orphanage.
(my aunt actually was also spending some time in an orphanage, when my Granddad was working double shifts after her Mum`s death, so someone would have an eye on her. I could imagine it might have been a similiar scenario.)

"also the living circumstances or some drama connected to the home as Pluto would be opp the Ic, and that is where they found him re: the apparent suicide attempt."
That`s a good thought! I hadn`t thought of this, but yes you`re right.

"Pluto/Mc combos also tell of domineering parents or parents who have died and left the child with a strong urge to either annihilate themselves to prove their domineering parents right that they are worthless *or* to overpower the parent"
*gulps* Do I have to fear for myself now? My Pluto is conjunct MC. But yes, I think my mom is a pretty dominant figure in my life. Though luckily for the most part she decided to play it quite positively (and fittingly she has Sun and Mercury in Scorpio). But it is never easy for a Sagittarius to deal with the mysterious emotions of a Scorpio. lol

"It shows he may have been thinking back to the death of the parent"
Yes, that could be.
I think his relationship fell apart just a few months or even weeks prior to this, and it seems it was not an exactly amicable parting (The lady in question has a Mars-Pluto-square which fits exactly into his T-square of Sun-Uranus-Chiron, the synastric Sun-Pluto-square and Sun-Mars-opposition alone would have sufficed to make me run away. His Uranus is actually a bit out of orb here though. Their progressions were speaking volumes, too: his pr Venus opposite her Mars and square her Pluto; his pr Mars opposite her Neptune - AHA the ominous Mars/Neptune-again! his pr Saturn opposite her pr Mars and square her pr Saturn, his pr Uranus square her pr Venus. Definitely too much tension for comfort.)
So I guess things might jsut have been piling up for him.

"Elvis has Sadge rising, if we use this time JRM has Sadge Moon."
I think JRM has Sagittarius Moon, no matter when he is born the day, except if he was born between 11:15 p.m. and midnight. (which would give him an Aries ASC).

" love how astro works, sometimes, it's such a perfect interpretation playing him on screen. "
Absolutely. Neptune as the planet of TV/portraying.

"JRM has his Venus/Jupiter in Elvis 7th, and his Mars is conj Elvis Dsc."
Mmh, my synastry with Elvis would have been interesting as well. Actually, well, "Are you lonesome tonight" were the first English lines I could say, because my aunt was just so crushing on Elvis. My earliest childhood memories are definitely connected with Elvis. Sometimes I suspect this might have something to do with the type of man I notice to, at least on the screen. lol
It`s all my aunt`s fault!
Oh and I found it interesting that JRM`s Mars is absolutely exactly conjunct my DESC, with an orb of 0°01. LOL

"he Mars person JRM would urge the h7 person to be more active,"
Hmm, I wonder how to transfer that to my case now.
Well, these 7-12 Gemini do fascinate me in my chart; I also have SN on 10 Gemini, and Draco Moon on 7 Gemini. And Karma is on 16 Gemini, too far away, but still interesting. I always wonder what these objects are doing there in my 7th house (eying somewhat suspiciously through the eyes of my 1st house Stellium).

I am always curious as to why certain people get my attention at a certain time. I always think there must be a reason for it in my own chart, personality or life.

(well, the current Grand Cross is affecting my Venus on 6 Cap and IC on 5 Aries and Pluto on 9 Libra - these are exhausting times I can tell you! lol
HAHA; I just realized that Venus and Pluto are ruling 6th and 12th house in my chart plus Venus also rules MC and 5th house. Makes somehow sense, doesn`t it?)

Ceridwen, Here's a link to some of the charts I looked at. Controversial, but there it is. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/207918.html

Oh absolutely Pluto Mc can be healing and strengthening mother, except for this case we're talking about suicide attempt and possible thoughts swirling around at the time, so Pluto mc could be a marker for parents death as he had had in his life.

Yea, I can see this with some of the men you are drawn to, cool, remote yet passion, and you have the cap venus sq pluto

What about your progressed to his natal? Noticed we meet up/strongly make notice with/of people who make conjunctions to our p., esp personal planets and also the asc.dsc angle.

If his 6 Degree Capricorn ASC. is correct, then his ASC. is right on my Neptune, and his Venus/ Jupiter is exactly conjunct my natal Venus in Gemini and opposite his moon. No wonder I feel an affinity to him, plus I love Leo men!

My favorite movie that he was in was Velvet Goldmine, where his character was loosely based on David Bowie - yet another Capricorn. Hopefully he can learn to love himself again and hopefully he is into chakra healing, I bet his heart chakra is very out of align right now...

Lonake,

"Yea, I can see this with some of the men you are drawn to, cool, remote yet passion, and you have the cap venus sq pluto"
Yes, I can see that as well. They are probably reflecting something from my own soul back to me.

"hat about your progressed to his natal? Noticed we meet up/strongly make notice with/of people who make conjunctions to our p., esp personal planets and also the asc.dsc angle."
Yes, interestingly progressed synastry seems to also work with people we do not meet yet come to our attention as actors for example.

Though conjunctions are the stronges, I also noticed trines and oppositions.

In this particular case:

my pr Sun opposes his natal Sun
my pr Sun opposes his pr Venus

my pr Venus trine his natal Venus

my pr ASC trine his pr Sun
and if his ASC is right, my pr ASC on 7 Capricorn (and my natal Venus on 6 Capricorn) may be conjunct his ASC

my pr MC conjunct his natal MC

my pr Venus would also be just 3 degrees off his pr ASC
and my pr Vertex would be conjunct his natal Vertex exact (always under the assumption he has ASC on 6 Capricorn)

my pr Sun is also on its way to trine his natal Mars on my DESC

my natal venus trine his pr Sun
my natal Mars trine his pr Venus

speaking natal synastry, I think his planets might "illuminate" some important spots for me:

° I have this Sun/Mercury-conjunction in Sagittarius in 1st house, which is isolated; no aspect to others, and often it is just unaspected, by friends, too.
But I always notice if someone aspects it strongly. Actually I notice it only, because I am being noticed.
But even in such a case it may illuminate this part of myself for me.

Here, his Moon is conjunct my Sun and Mercury and his Venus and Jupiter oppose the conjunction.

° My ASC-DESC axis of course is important for my chart. There is the nodal axis overlaying it, with SN on DESC, which might explain my interest in karmic relational astrology.
But usually the conjunction of Mars-Neptune-NN on my ASC focuses my attention on my identity, the "Who am I"?, maybe even to the detriment of relating to others in a personal way.

His Mars falls exactly onto my DESC and opposes my Mars-Neptune-conjunction - so I think it illuminates this configuration for me.

° his Saturn falls into my 8th house and opposes my Moon closely, which rules my 8th house and is isolated in Aquarius in 2nd house, if it weren`t for the exact quinkunx to my own Saturn in 8th (just in Cancer)

It`s a pretty difficult combination, I must say.

Well, my chart is strange that way with so many technically unaspected planets - well at least without Ptolemaic aspects- Moon and Uranus (probably emphasised by my Aquarius-Moon), and Sun and Mercury only have "each other".

Actually the only planets really interwoven are Venus and Mars and there are many aspects to ASC and MC. But it`s kinda strange to have Sun, MErcury, Moon and Uranus so "isolated".

Moon might be the most problematic, and well that Saturn-opposition, it`s interesting.

° I also have a Chiron in Aries in 4th house, which squares my Sun/Moon-mp and Vertex/Eros/Saturn on the other side.

And his SN actually falls onto my Chiron. Ouch.

° The other dominant configuration in my chart: Venus square Pluto/MC - well, his Karma sits on my Venus and his ASC possibly, so this one is illuminated as well.

If you look at this, it almost seems like in a weird way (or the projection of him) is "confronting me with myself".

(maybe even more so with his Venus and Mars in my 7th house, his Moon in my 1st and his Sun in my 8th).

Interesting to see how his planets "hook" into the vulnerable spots in my chart.

Planet Queen,

"then his ASC. is right on my Neptune,"
My Venus is there. And well, his Karma is there in any case, so it would be conjunct your Neptune.

" and his Venus/ Jupiter is exactly conjunct my natal Venus in Gemini"
The opposite point is emphasised for me, as his Venus/Jupiter opposes my Sun and MErcury and Moon conjuncts it. Interesting.

How does it feel to have a Gemini-Venus?

"plus I love Leo men!"
Interestingly, despite my Sagittarius Stellium, I never did. It`s not that I had something against them, I just don`t really notice them (yes, I know, that would be a big blow to a Leo`s Ego. lol).

"My favorite movie that he was in was Velvet Goldmine,"
The first Ive seen. Really fascinating.

"Hopefully he can learn to love himself again and hopefully he is into chakra healing, I bet his heart chakra is very out of align right now..."
Yes, think so, too. And hopefully he will find his way.

Being a Leo Sun with Gemini Venus, makes for a very flamboyant and spontaneous personality, then again I have Sagittarius ASC. as well...

I tend to go Leo Sun men that have some water in their chart, especially Scorpio and Cancer placements. I prefer Leo Sun men with water moons, I dated a Leo Sun with Gemini Moon, not a fan, talk about a smart a$$.

Planet Queen,

I never before really thought about what Moons I prefer to be around. But now after having given it some thought, it seems that I have a preference for Moon in Aries, Libra or Sagittarius, in some rare cases Leo(interestingly Taurus-Moon was there as well, and the occasional Scorpio Moon). But I am really not a friend of the other watery Moons interestingly, and neither Gemini nor Virgo appeals to me (at least not if the Moon is there).

So I`d say I probably prefer the Moons to be fiery or airy. My Moon is in Aquarius, and my IC (moon-point) is in Aries. So maybe that is why.

Where is your Moon? In a water or earth sign? Having strong aspects to Neptune or Pluto?
