I have a difficult time relating to Virgo Venuses. Point blank: they limit themselves with the way they are. They either only listen to one genre of music and are pretty exclusive or judgemental of the rest, they're only attracted to supermodels (male or female) regardless of how they actually fit on the scale, and they freak out about trivial crap.

I'm a Gemini Venus, so obviously my tastes can be a little eclectic (or weird, if you want to be blunt). The thing is, I don't care. I like what I like when I like it. I don't limit myself because I *shouldn't* for whatever invisible social rule. So you can imagine its maybe just a *little* annoying when everything that's of interest to you is picked apart to death because its just not 'cool' enough.

For irony's sake: I'm a Virgo Moon. I've heard all about the highlights of the moon/venus conjunction in synastry, but it does not apply to me...atleast not in the longterm. It starts out great, but then eventually becomes irritating. Yeah, I have my picky points too ...but about more important things than how so and so's nose is not in perfect proportion with their eyes, or running up huge bills shopping exclusively at Abercrombie and American Eagle.

I'm sure common intellectual points exist (actually I know they do) but its harder to find beneath the other exclusive crap.

Yeah.. I'm a Gemini Venus - And Sun and merc and jup.

Virgo Venus and Merc people do tend to grate on me. I love Virgo ASC and Virgo Suns and Moons though. (Probably my Taurus Rising) but the Merc and Venus tend to just be too limiting as you said. I do believe that Virgos have a lot to offer and I do think they are very critical thinkers in a good way, but just sometimes when they say things I wince. haha.

I dated a Libra with a Virgo Venus before... but it just couldn't go anywhere for me because he was so proper. I need someone who allows themselves to let go a little.

To me, a Virgo Venus in a male is too picky.
I like a man who can overlook small things like if the food is not exactly right

eh. the one i know is not necessarily attracted to super models at all. he tends to date girls less attractive (conventionally) than he is. he has a definite type though, and doesn't seem to deviate much from it.

you're right about everything else though lol.

Blugrey: Its actually THAT particular combo (Libra sun/Virgo Venus) that I have had the most nail grating time with. I used to be close with one who had a Libra Moon on top of it (Geez, those new mooners are crazy). I just stay clear of that combo nowadays because its just always such a contrary relationship.

Ami Anne: I'm one of those Virgo Moons who throws a fit when my food is served the wrong way. -___-

Amowls: I guess its just me then. I remember in particular one girl who was a close friend freaked out when she found that her footy crush had imperfect facial proportions. No lies. I understand that she's an art major but....yeah, there's a reason we're not that close anymore.

I have best friends with Venus in Virgo and Gemini. They are both great.

But when it comes to romance I prefer Venus in Virgo. I'm a Venus in Pisces maybe thats why. But then I've only had "romantic experiences" with Venus virgo.

I'm dating a guy right now with Virgo Moon, Venus Taurus, Aries Sun. He dances, and I think he wants to make a living doing it, so he watches what he eats. He tells me that he will tell his sister to watch what she eats (I'm thinking thats his Virgo moon). Its weird when they guy is the one watching his weight...! Thats unheard of!
Well one day he asked me "Do you think you'll ever be skinny again?" The way he asked didn't offend me. But in the back of my head I'm thinking wtf! But what I stupid stupid question! ...I can't predict the future. And I know I'm not unatractive...since you followed me around after class.

I am a Virgo Venus and I agree...we are too picky. But I can't help it. I'm not into supermodels though. Normal men do it for me too.
I don't limit anything else though. Music taste for example. I listen to everything ( from classical, rock, pop, folk, hip hop to metal) it doesn't matter what genre as long as it's good music. I have a Gemini Mars though and it's aspecting my ascendant, venus, mercury and other plantes, so it's quite dominant. Maybe that's why my tastes are so erratic.

I gotta ask, you're referring to if their Venus is conj your Moon, and as Venus does the loving, I'm wondering if your thoughts are different perhaps when it's your Gemini Venus in conj to their Gemini Moon?

Venus in Virgo have discriminating taste, are detail-oriented, and superb at finding flaws. What can they do? They were born when Venus was in Virgo. haha
I have Venus in Gemini, and I like finesse, intelligence, and wit. With both my Venus and Mars in Air, I'm into intelligent, clean-cut men who can cook. A guy who can cook says a lot. :P

I have a Gem Venus - I do get attracted to Gemini Moons, but in the end, I find them too cold and unreachable. I much prefer people with whom I know exactly where I stand because otherwise I go crazy in my head analyzing everything and I don't like to be in that situation. To me, Gemini Moon is pretty much the worst placement that Gemini could be in. Because it's your inner emotional nature that is all grey, not just your interests or personality. I can't deal with it even though I have 4 planets in Gemini. To me, even a Virgo moon is better. Or Aqua or Cap. But Gemini moons are just way too unreachable.

As for Libra men with Virgo venus - I find them to be a little superficial. Not in a supermodel way but in a way that is like they like things that are too innocent and pure to ever be capable of really existing and then they get terribly disappointed. I've seen this so many times with my friends.

My siblings are both Gemini Moons...nuff said. I'm not too fond of this moon placement in the long term neither; they are just way too flippant for my tastes, and really inconsistant about it too (they only become sensitive when you hurt *their* feelings). Moon conjunct Venus just never works out for me either way, I guess.

Blugrey, that's interesting because I have 3+ planets in Cancer and I find I can't deal with Cancer Moons. Its not the emotionalness that bothers me at all (during the rare times it shows), but pretty much everything else. It seems that everyone is annoyed by the Moon sign of their sun sign.

I have Capricorn Moon so I'm smiling
Maybe something's wrong with me, lol, but the Gem Moons I know are sweethearts. We get along pretty well. Otoh, Virgo Moons aren't for me, personal preference and all that.

No they are not bad people at all! I have many Gemini moon friends, but in relationships I cannot deal with them at all.

I must say 99% of the time I am with guys who have fixed moons. Mutable moons are fascinating to me - as are most people with Mutable placements, but in the end, I just want to be with some steady and yet someone who can let go.

Virgo can be a tricky placement for me. But I do have Taurus Rising so yeah... I much prefer those Virgo squares than the Pisces ones. I have a Virgo moon friend. He is able to see through people so clearly. He's truly amazing to me. I love Virgo in pretty much anything but Venus and Mars - Venus because they tend to be too restrained and Mars because I've have experience with it and it was frankly boring. lol I guess because those two signs are most pointedly having to do with friendship and relationships those are the hardest ones to deal with... which is why I typically can get along with people who have very different Sun/Moon signs but have aspects to my Merc/Venus/Mars. I think those tend to be more accurate tellers of how I'm going to get along with someone.

My best friend has a Gemini Venus Cancer Mars like me and she has a Cancer Sun/Moon and we still get along. That one guys I was talking about has a Scorpio Venus trine my Mars and a Sagittarius Mars which I get along with well even though he's a Cap and I usually don't get along with Cap men especially the very heavily earthy kind like him. I have a friend with a Libra Sun/TAurus Moon conjunct my ASC but he has both Virgo venus and mars and it's so hard to deal with him being so prim and proper and scientific! gah! He's like a lecturer and it's so hard to get him to let go sometimes. Grr. This Gemini venus just wants to be childlike and appreciated and taken care of - not treated like someone who needs to grow up!

I don't mind Virgo when it comes in the form of the sexy librarian--->> that was pretty much the Libra Sun/Mars conjunct with Virgo Moon (and Scorpio Venus) that I met last year. Of course, I always feel more comfortable with other Virgo Mooners...its like I can do stuff without feeling embarrased. The only other moon I'm that comfortable with is probably scorpio. Pisces is sweet, but unreliable at times.

Venus and Mars in Virgo are a whole 'nother ball game (mars mostly depends on the sex of the person). There's this one chick in my class with both mars/venus conjunct in virgo and she grates on my every last nerve. Libra sun too. Not only is everything a popularity contest with her, but she's negative and exclusive (in the manner that I mentioned earlier) too. She also has a pisces moon near my mars so we're mutable squaring eachother up everywhere. Hope I never get stuck working with her.

Last virgo mars man I was attracted to was great (because of his taurus moon) but he was paradoxically prickly. It was weird considering he was a stoner who couldn't keep punctuality.

As for Pisces Venus/Mars...I would like them alot more if they had a little more self respect. There is way too much they will accept from a person they think they're in love with and it is annoying if you're the friend who's listening to them at 3am in the morning. They even make Pisces Suns go "WTF?". Its that bad.

lol Benedict - The man I'm in love with has the reversed combination -- of Gemini Moon and Virgo Venus.
Maybe you'd like a person who has *both* Gemini and Virgo...

I don't find him picky. I actually see more of the Gemini in him, but he does have nice Virgo cheekbones -- and if there was a male version of the sexy librarian, it would totally be him - he also has Scorp Mars.

Yeah, it would be nice to find a balance somewhere. Never met someone with the reverse of my moon and venus though.

And like I said earlier, I'm picky...not afraid to admit it. But if there's anything to be picky about, be picky about the quality of things, not the surface stuff. That seems to be the main difference between the moon and venus in virgo. Atleast from my POV.

ill just leave them to someone else

See I feel like Virgos come off as superficial... even though I can sense that they have something underneath it all. Geminis can think deep, but only in our own heads. I feel like Virgos are similar in that they can only do the same inside of themselves if that makes sense?

Geminis tend to be reliable only when reliability is not expected or demanded. As soon as it's expected it loses it's charm for us. We want to give freely, not have it dragged out of us! I know this is terribly frustrating. Those of us with a bit of Earth or Fire are a bit easier to deal with on this one. I know I am pretty reliable but I have a stellium in Cap and Taurus Rising.

I think that both Gemini and Virgo are not able to draw out the best in each other. Simply because both are observers rather than action takers. I know that those I know who have Virgo placements or heavy Virgo in them tend to draw my admiration and my interest, but it is almost always impossible to get closer than the surface. It's so frustrating because I think there must be something tender and beautiful underneath all that analysis and then I hit a dead brick wall (aka the evil critical Virgo mental block!!!!!) and as a Gemini I am not of the nature to try and put something into action. So it just ends up like a dead end. Virgos bring out the mothering instinct in me and then it's like BAM! They shut down emotionally and return to their little colorless little Virgo world of numbers and folding socks! LOL I for myself, really hate getting rejected and Virgos reject most often! hahaha

I really wish we could get along!

I think no one likes for their placements to be put in the hot seat..it just rubs people with those plaements the wrong way always, unfortunately people take things personally and will defend themselves to the bitter end.

From my observation I've witness Gemini placements being extremely slutty..

Now cue the endless list of defenses from people with Gemini placements..

In cases like this you do you and I'll do me and we will agree to disagree.
