Sorry to interrupt your dialogue with yourself. But i felt like chipping in. I hope u dont mind.

I have observed that most of the people who are loving, caring go through this excruciating pain of fighting/struggling in this world which is 'rajasic'. I have been going through this same kind of dilemma for years. Then i decided, after much contemplation, whatever i do, love or hate, stay cool or fight, i will surrender- 100%. It works. We reach the point of merging with that feeling/situation/circumstance and going beyond. Try it if u like.

My friend told me last night that we all have issues.
No one is perfectly vanilla.
You CAN choose character no matter WHAT your issues.
By this, you can know WHO you are.
This is what I lost at 14,this understanding.
My mother took it away from me,on purpose, albeit subconsciously.

I saw that the other day when she tried to thwart me as I grew, emotionally.

She thwarted my character so I would not know WHO I was.
That way I would always be weak and insecure.
Then, I would have no core which directed me independent of HER.

This understanding will take me to the next step.
I know who I am,how far I will go,who I want to be when I am not sure.
I know the way out.
Issues don't define you.
Issues come from the outside. They are foisted on you, pretty much.
You can choose character. You will need to chose it again and again.
You will fail as many times as you succeed.
The answer is humility and to apologize.
My last foray in to craziness taught me these things lol

It depends what house and sign Saturn is in. In the 1st it effects the ego-assertion mechanism. In say water it can effect a deep compassion through wounding of the subject. But i would say if water was lacking elsewhere in the chart the wounding could just as easily lead to a 'lack of' empathy via the wounding, as perhaps seen in 1st house Fire Saturns.
As with all things a planets influence is heavily intermediated by sign, element, aspects, and house.
