Well, it's not that we want attention, it's that we want to connect with you on that level. i hate when someone is depressed and jokes about it but they do not want to talk about it. Because I find that if you dont talk about it, you dont find out the reason for the depression/sadness. Water signs are pretty introspective---and that's why we are always in touch with our feelings and always know why we feel a certain way at any given moment. IP: Logged |

i completely agree and it bothers me when people joke about it as well. i hate seeing people hurt and not being let in to at least try to fix it, but at the same time, i can recognize the whole time and place aspect - nobody likes crying in public.IP: Logged |

my mom is an aquarian and my dad was a cancer and all i can say at first it seems like a horrible bad idea! i mean dont get me wrong they were together for a solid 25 years until my dad passed away but it was obvious the gap in their relationship! she was ambitious he wasnt, she wanted a serious tough man, he was a soft cuddly teddy bear. she wanted a man who put her first, but he was a crab who longed for his mom, he wanted someone to cook and care for him evry night after he comes back from work she, well she's much more that that! but on some level they were wonderful together he eased her fears and gave her strength and you can tell how she loved him if u see her now after he's gone.. she misses him so.the truth is love is much more than charts and stars and planets, its a deep undeniable connection that i hope all of us experiance one day. I don't know about the other Cancers but I will talk for me. As a Cancer myself, I am everything but clingy and needy. I love freedom more than anything in this world and I am not obssesed with family and home. Also I don't want to have kids or to get married. Maybe the influence of Aries, Leo and Saggitarius from my chart made me in this way. I never liked Aquarians or Gemini or Libra in a peculiar way. Gemini and Libra made a bad impression in front of me, being dishonest and liars. As for Aquarians, in a non romantically way both girls and boys are awesome. Friendly, sociable funny. This is so true Venus and quite beautiful. And I'm more than willing to bet despite them being an Aqua/Cancer couple they had something in common. May it be similar Moon signs, or Moon-Venus (which makes it very hard to stay mad at someone) etc. IP: Logged |

FairAqua what are your other placements? If you had water or earth prominent in your chart it would be easier for you to get along with a Cancer or any water or earth sign for that matter. If you don't there wouldn't be any reason to get close to someone who has feminine planets prominent. IP: Logged |

I completely agree with this. I have a Cancer Ascendant and I'm typically an very easy going person. The crisis times in my life all stemmed from situations where I felt like I'd lost my sense of security. IP: Logged |

Hi, I am a gemini sun/moon and cancer ascendant. Although I think I have lots of gemini characteristics, I identify deeply with cancer's sensitivity, home orientation, need for security, and moodiness. I even dress much more like a cancer than a gemini! Interestingly enough my best friends have always been aquas and the two most important loves in my life have a been a cancer sun and a leo sun/libra moon/venus cancer. Although the cancer sun is someone that I adored, it got to a point where I started feeling as if I loved him less than he loved me and that was awful! I don't think he was doing anything wrong, but it was almost as if I was failing him...terrible feeling that at the end made me feel smothered... IP: Logged |
