Melinn there's also the lunar return function on astro.com if you have a particular date you're interested in - just select the date and choose 'lunar return' from the chart dropdown selection. It finds the most recent lunar return before that target date, so shows you which LR was active.Once you've got a benchmark, you can then tweak your dates as needed. IP: Logged |

Yes but I’ve read the lunar is more like what “emotionally will occupy” your mind that month. Its not like a solar return exactly IP: Logged |

Yes thank you! I tried astro.com,s but I got confused about the date thing, and the chart cahnges depending on what date I choose!? I’m born 1 May so I trued choosing 1 every month, but lunar calender is different so, yeah I got confused. What date to choose and also, how to know which chart is active. Does it state “recently actuve chart” or something like that at astro?

@Melinn I know others here are skeptical, but I use them religiously to check the feel for the month and they are always accurate for me. I talk about why here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/236998.html You don't need to set the time on astro.com. It will do it for you. Use them in tandem to color and bring emotional life to your transits and progressions. That's how they work best. IP: Logged |

The Lunar return is meant to be used in conjunction with the Tertiary Progressed chart. So, because it is at this time, LR, that the days change in the tertiary progressed chart. No one ever mentions this. IP: Logged |

Do you know what Secondary Progressions are? Well, Tertiary Progressions is like a magnifier that will take you a step deeper. Secondary gives you a twelve month window (Eg. age 12), tertiary gives you the month within that year (Eg 12yrs, 7mos). Though, I must say, these are stand alone systems. IP: Logged |

Okay, you did no ask me to elaborate, and I just finished watching a video that specifically said, keep it short and simple......but you know what, I'm in a sharing mood so I'll elaborate below then move on. Secondary progressions is a Solar progression. Tertiary progressions is a Lunar progression. The Sun has a twelve month cycle, so every year on your birthday you will progress the ephemeris one day, this is secondary progressions. The Moon has a one month cycle, so every month when the moon returns to the sign and degree of its position in your natal chart, you progress the ephemeris one day, this is tertiary progressions.
