Why don't you just tell the sign and leave the degree out? I'm sure Coffee's busy with something else (crafting more insults probably)IP: Logged |

Can I just ask this? Say one knows Astrology AND knows a person very well. Wouldn't one be able to know if the person had a 7th or 8th house Venus ,for one example? To me,*I* think one could tell that. ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city Proverbs IP: Logged |

Yes Ami...I would agree with that. Although...I have a feeling that you have a Libran ascendant lol because I have a Libran ascendant and I think I really connect with your approach on topics etc. Libra ascendants are fluffy, feminine but yet VERY strong and passionate on issues and matters important to them. You could rectify my chart too if ya want Although I think I might have posted my ascendant in a recent post. (edited)...yes I posted my ascendant here in this thread..hmmm can we say air head!! Amowls I am triple air also... but missing the gemini...double Libra and Aquarius Moon I can be an airhead at times, well quite a lot of the time... IP: Logged |

Quinnie IF I take my Libra Asc back lol,I have to give up my Gemini 8th house stellium. It seems like I MUST have an 8th house stellium as much as I need to communicate on deep, taboo topics . You see what I mean, how hard it is? lol ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city Proverbs IP: Logged |

An ascendant at a late degree of Libra would give you 8th house planets in Gemini..(unless those planets were at very late degrees of Gemini)IP: Logged |

The other placement which seems like it must be is Pisces on the 5th house cusp and Neptune in the 12th cuz I lost a child. That would HAVE to show in the chart--wouldn't it? Perhaps,my whole chart could be figured out by Neptune NEEDING to be in the 12th and Pisces needing to be on the 5th house cusp. Does that make sense,Quinnie? I would not want to bother Coffee with rectification ------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city Proverbs IP: Logged |

I must admit I wondered Libra Ami because you always make an effort to balance things out...in a thread if people are disagreeing or whatever. It depends on what house system you use too...that could alter 7th/8th house and keep a libran ascendant. IP: Logged |

I am Gem Rising, but Quinnie you were close because I am a late Gem, making me almost Cancer (27 Gem)What made you think Cancer? What transits or progressions was I experiencing? IP: Logged |

I have these two questions for anyone: Would YOU consider the person's appearance in figuring out the ASC? If someone had something like losing a child--wouldn't the natal show it--without transits---just the make-up of the natal--say Neptune in the 12th with Pisces on the 5th house cusp?------------------ Life is lived in the sand box. Amowls Just transits... It was quickly done From the first date (and the most specific date)...The most notable movement on that day was that Uranus moved into Pisces. So this was my starting (and ending) point Uranus therefore in theory represented major spiritual change and possibly specifically your grandmother... her passing (Pisces) Your father's, father's (4th from fourth house...10th house) second spouse..(9th from 1oth house) therefore = Aquarius...and Uranus the ruler of the 6th house which is 9th house from the 10th... (edited) Ok then I just over-complicated the whole thing and did 8 houses from the 6th house and got Cancer ascendant since it all comes full circle...Why did I bother putting this explanation up lol Being way too creative...... Anyway there was a couple of other calculations that matched up to cancer ascendant with the other dates but I can't remember them now Although in hindsight...Uranus in your natal chart rules Sun and Mercury... in Aquarius... And perhaps I should have been looking at Uranus then as an indicator of your chart ruler...

Yes Ami...lots of people do very well at getting people's ascendant from the person's appearance alone... Lots of good examples here on LL.A Pisces 5th house doesn't necessarily mean losing a child. It could mean a spiritually gifted or artistic child...5th house usually represents the oldest child. Was it your oldest son who passed Ami? If Pisces 5th house did mean losing a child, then there would likely be transits affecting your natal planets from Pisces to show show this. I'm so sorry for you by the way. As you know I have two sons and the thought of losing a child is absolutely devastating. IP: Logged |
