sigh - My computer is driving me nuts - slow net connection. I'm not sure what's going on but nothing loads up, even LL takes ages.
I'm giving up for now.

Lonake - I'm terrified of shop assistants in general. They get very pushy sometimes. I don't like it when I'm trying something on - and every 5 secs there's a knock on the door "how are you going with those jeans?" bla bla bla...
I guess they have nothing else to do though.

You guys with your fancy makeup, do you just try on a lot, or are they recommendations, like going to a makeup counter?

The BB Cream I found from my friend in Korea and I've stuck with it.
Most of the others I've just randomly tried.
I got to Sephora a lot, there you don't need a salesperson and you can just try stuff at your own pace. I usually just buy various things until I find something that works. But my skin is pretty dry sensitive and acne prone, so it took a lot of work to get here! Plus it helps to switch stuff winter vs summer.

I realllllllllllly want to get microdermabrasion. One of my facial people said I don't have bad enough skin for it, but I have PLENTY of acne scars. I'd much rather just wear tinted foundation, so this summer I'm saving up and doing it somewhere else! It's expensive, but hopefully it will help me spend less on makeups, because seriously, it's addictive! :x

I love to play with makeup, and I totally "collect" it and watch youtube for new ideas/products. It's almost like my version of painting, LOL.

I pretty much wear it very naturally, if I'm going "out-out" on the town, I'll do super red lipstick or smokey eyes, but otherwise I make sure it doesn't look like I'm wearing much.

I lovelovelove blush, and really hate mascara and lipgloss.

Cool! Do you ever watch the Kandee Johnson videos? I like those! I've tryed out a few.

Fun! Rising Sagittarius and Venus conjunct Neptune, also in Sagittarius and 1st house.

How do I do my make-up? Hmm... Very basic. No matter what the occasion, I don't use foundation. I used to, I just don't anymore for a practical reason: it doesn't let my skin breathe and there's no colour that matches my skin tone so I don't bother looking for one. It's healthier anyway. Eye shadow is always natural: brown, beige, green, sometimes blue; or monotonous: black, white and greys. I do colour eye shadow too but only on special occasions, in keeping with what I'm wearing and usually only colours that appear in nature, in flowers for example. And always black mascara. I have light eyelashes so I have to colour them, and I like black mascara I hardly ever wear lipstick. Usually, even for functions, I prefer lip gloss. At least I don't have to touch that up every 5 minutes. I do wear lipstick though sometimes, and in keeping with the rest of my make-up, it's usually in either natural colours or heavily contrasting colours (black-and-white make-up and wine red lipstick for example!)

I used to put on a lot of black make-up, people used to think I was a goth, especially with my pale skin, the truth is that I just loved the contrast in it I've reduced my make-up choice to only natural, though.

You guys should really look into the ingredients of the products you use. Especially Mac. That brand is toxic. If you're willing to spend that much money on makeup do yourself a favor and go organic, at least that way you limit the toxins going into your body, which can cause cancer.

I feel like the only no-make up person in this forum LOL

Virgo Acs and Venus in gemini in 10th house

and I m very comfortable even without any make up.however back in my teen age, i loved make up and bright colours. I still prefers solids and bright colours, anything bright attract me. Silver makes me go crazy [eyeliners and hair accessories] and I'm an Aries and I love trying new hairstyles. This is one of my weak points [new hair styles, prefer up-dos, and wild stuff] but i sure hate red-lipstick and dark make-up. I prefer simple , innocent look

I generally wear the same most days - foundation, powder, black eyeliner and lashings of Diorshow mascara. But if I'm in a playful mood, I'll mess around with pigments. My favourites are Fyrinnae:
http://www.fyrinnae.com/

There are some truly stunning shades, and they're vegan

I hardly ever wear lipstick or gloss just cause it's too fussy for me. Sag Asc, Scorpio Venus.

Macs not super expensive. You get what you pay for and their eyeshadows are well worth the $14. I have expensive taste anyway and even though I don't wear make up that often, I do wear nice stuff. Like I use Diorshow or Givenchy mascara (also have Givenchy liquid eyeliner which is really great), make up forever concealer and mac liquid liner and dior blush. I admit, my favorite lipstick is Kat von d but it was the only dark lipstick that went well with my skin tone. I also have a few Nars lipsticks and mac.

No leo in my chart but i have a 10th house venus with a libra moon, so I like nice stuff.

Ask me about my clothes haha.

Extra virgin coconut oil will even out your skin tone as far as the scars. For the dry skin get some nylon exfoliater gloves, they work wonders. Exfoliate like every other day or every two days depending...just don't scrub really hard, you'll damage your skin. Do this and it should help.

I have dry skin too and scars, I'm using olive oil right now and I think it's helping although I haven't been doing it too long and I'm not sure about the old scars, it's definately helping prevent new ones and helps my face heal a bit faster, what would really help is if I stopped picking at my face lol >_<

yes, i do! honestly, i have a love hate relationship with her. i think in her tutorial videos, she rocks (contouring/bronzer/highlighter vids were so helpful!) but the giveaways and random drama and character/theme makeup kinda drives me crazy... her baby voice/giggle is annoying as well. LOL.

I love Lisa Eldridge and Gossmakeup artist and PixiWoo - lol, for an American, I really appreciate British makeup artists!

Yes, I just put pure shea oil on my face, and I've never had issues with my skin ever since. But I'm one of those people that has never really had issues with my skin, I just use Mac's mineralize powder, no foundation, and it seems to do a good job, oh and Mac's bronzer does wonders for my alabaster skin, need some color!

Yeah I've never done the crazy stuff like Snow White, Betty Boop, and BollyWood. But I still like to watch them.
But OMG when she becomes those charactors she gets so into it. I find it hillarius and creepy at the same time. hahaha

My buddy showed me those vids...and she really likes to do crazy make up and then post the pics on FB, she will do avatar make-up. haha

Yeah I read somewhere that Brits like to use color more than we do because for the most part their whether is more gloomy over there.

I love getting a copy of cosmo UK cause they do have some really outstanding ideas.

I don't have a red lipstick I like to wear for special occasions because I don't like reapplying. If I do wear red lips, I wear all different kinds and lately L'Oreal's Infallible Lipgloss stays on for 6 hours. Their color Rebel Red/315 is pretty awesome.

Do you keep your face plastered 24/7?: Nope, only for photo shoots. I have it plastered when I am single too and makeup can't be messed up with kisses. Usually the makeup is the hook to get a guy and then they request a natural no makeup look. I'll never understand that dichotomy.

Any guys out there that wear guy liner?: I know some guys that do. I think it's hot on the right guy.

Ooo girl, make-up is my THING!

My make-up is definitely a process but so many people compliment me on how well it's done that it's worth it. Plus, I like mixing and playing with colors and the detail that goes into it. I'm sure I have at least 3 tubes of red lipstick/gloss lying around, and am also into coral pinks. I used to be high maintenance about my routine in high school and I'd spend an hour prepping and powdering and blending. However, now that I'm a little bit older I'm a little bit more low-key about it. I just cover with tinted moisterizer (I love Almay), and some setting powder... do my eyebrows, and some mascara with lipgloss. HOWEVER... all my make-up is expensive. It's a horrible habit, but I blame my Taurus moon. :P

Ladies, I beg to differ The best mascara in the whole wide world is YSL Effet Faux Cils (I realize that it's a matter of compatibility, but this is what works best for me, so try it).

Taurus moon, and yep, my make up is expensive. My routine nowadays is foundation, Chanel translucent powder to set it, Guerlain Teracotta or Body Shop blush, and a hint of maroon shadow in the corner to lift the eye.

And of course, the mascara. Oddly, I apply it first, as I didn't have the patience to learn to apply it correctly, so I smudge it all over and remove the excess. My Aries Sun also managed to do the routine in 5 minutes tops.

If it's an important event, Libra asc comes out to play, fake lashes and whatnot

Never been the experimenting type however, must be Taurus moon again. I just learned what works, and stuck to it.

Yep I like to splurge on make up sometimes.

My friend gave me her bare minerals set.
But I did go on a spree a month ago and bought bare minerals lipstick and gloss. In nutral colors.
I also like benefit concealar, and their lipsticks.

But I will buy stuff at the dollar tree sometimes if they have something I don't, like red lipstick.

But I did go in a dollar general a few weeks ago and was exsited they had seriously all this cheap make up in every color!(purple lipstick! lol) But the stuff looked used and picked over and dirty so I couldn't do it.

Same with Khols. Their make up looks neat...but picked over and stuff looks like its been opened, so I don't buy there.

But my favorite places to buy make up are Ulta, Mejers, and other drug stores.

one day I went to work, and I did a swirly purple and green eye shadow look.

useally when I do more noticable make up like that to work, the kids at latchkey usealy say "why is that one your face?" well only one kid does that or "I like that!"

so a 2nd gradder asked me about it. and then she said "just promise me you'll never wear teal lipstick like Ke$ha or I'll scream"
haha, then I told her I liked Ke$ha, and then she started screaming. lololololol
