Is there a red lipstick you like to wear for special ocasions?
Do you keep your face plastered 24/7?
Any guys out there that wear guylinner?

Fun!Leo rising, Venus in Aries. I am approaching my late 30s, so I don't do the red lipstick quite as much (draws attention to lines, I think). I wear a light, tinted lip gloss nowadays. Needless to say, when I leave the house I have makeup on.
When I was younger, I went for the goth-y look with dark lipstick, very light powder, dark eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc. (Pisces sun in the 8th house).
Now that I'm somewhat older, I still prefer the light foundation/powder (I use both), still doing the plummish colored eyeshadow with eyeliner on my upper lids, mascara, and a little bit of blush and lip gloss.
That's pretty much my standard makeup routine, doesn't change much.

On a daily basis I like using copper eyeshadow with some amber on near the bottom lashes and a thin, black eyeliner. I use a rose colored blush and a gold high lighter for the final effect, and normally stray way from any added color on the lips. I use foundation and powder as any added shine on my face isn't a good look on me. Virgo rising/Aries Venus IP: Logged |

Pisces Asc Cancer Venus/ Leo everything else.. I dont wear lipstick.. maybe some clear gloss.. Gotta have the Mac foundation.. liguid eyeliner along the top lash, with light brown eyeshadow.. No blush ever.. hate the stuff.. IP: Logged |

On a daily basis I just use foundation. That's all.
When I go out, I use a little bit of blush and lightely coloured lipgloss. I make sure that I 'glow', that my eyes look large and that I give a doll-like impression.Virgo Rising, Venus in Virgo IP: Logged |

Thank you! Thank you ladies! I've been becoming obsessed(Scorp Moon) with make up lately.(I'd say about a year now) I was the one back in the day that didn't know how to put on mascara til I was 16. I seriously use to only powder my face. After a while I use to do an every day look of copper shadow and some glitter under the brow bone to make my eyes look bigger. And some brown eyeliner and powder and blush. Then back in 08 cosmo mag had a bunch of smokey eye looks. They looked so smoking sexy sensual hot!(Taurus Merc?lol) I had to try them out. That was the first time I ever tried a make up look from a magazine. I tried to remember them and do them once in a while. Around that time I got into wearing black eyelinner. After highschool, and after moiving out with an ex boy...I had a few weddings come up that I was in...and remembering some ideas in some mags...I got the idea to cut out the ideas I liked and wanted to try, and put them in a paper protector and keep them in a binder. I now have 5 binders. And desided to stop there...not trying to become a hoarder now. LOL I want to try out every single look.(Aries Sun) I'm pretty experonmental with make up right now (Gemini Rising) And it seems the older I get the more of a desire I have to be unpredictible...My Aqua Mars loves that my face never looks the same. Well you can still tell it's me though of course. Having lots of time on your hands can be awesome sometimes!

I use powder, some eye shadow, and eye liner to wake up my eyes. Mascara is a must. I hardly wear lipstick. Usually it's just clear/red gloss. As for my eyes, I use a cream eye liner to make a winged effect.Taurus, Scorpio, Cancer. Venus in gemini. IP: Logged |

I rarely ever wear make-up, its too time consuming and irritating to my eyes/face. But I *must* have my eyebrows done...always. Its been 3 weeks since I last had them waxed and its driving me crazyyyyyy. Though when I do make-up, its either for a special occasion or fun....with an artsy flair. I love eyeliner, mascara, and peacock eyes: particularly the art of blending/mixing eyeshadows at the same time (see: pictures I posted in the "eyes" thread). Only occasionally I wear foundation, and I *never* wear lipstick. Only lipgloss. I put on some blush too if its the right tone for me. Also, I don't care if its a dang coronation coming up...if my eyebrows aren't done, you can not put a single drop of make-up on my face. I just look weird with make-up AND messed up eyebrows.

i only wear make up if im going OUT like to a party or bar or whatever. depending on the party, i wear fun eyeliner (usually cat eyes or "egyptian"). sometimes i just wear dark red lipstick and mascara and cover up. never wear foundation because i feel gross. if im feeling more "girly" i wear blush and mascara on my bottom lashes and look like a doll day to day i dont wear any make up because im lazy/it feels gross (i have oily skin). asc is gemini, with saturn/uranus opposite it and mercury in aqua. venus is square ascendant in pisces. I wear almost everything, but I wear it lightly. I only wear peachy and pinkish natural eyeshadow unless I'm going out and then I might add plum or grey. Plum eyeliner. Mascara. Something smokey but soft and feminine. I do my bottom lashes - like a less dramatic version of twiggy.
I never wear lipstick or gloss, my lips naturally look like I'm wearing lipstick cuz of the color. I wear normal light makeup to school.
Just eyemakeup on weekends
And full makeup on dates/going out. Taurus Rising

I always wear the same thing.Bare Escentuals mineral powder in the color Fantasy which is gold for foundation and the same thing on my lips.It makes you look like you have a golden tan

I only wear MAC makeup, its expensive, but worth it! I swear I have at least $300 worth of make up. Sagittarius ASC. with Gemini Venus here, but my Leo Sun kinda over powers my choice of make up, lots of gold eye shadow and dark red lipsticks. I definitely do cat eyes, but I only like to enhance my natural beauty not cake it on with tons of black eye liner... IP: Logged |

Maybe!Leo Asc, Venus in Capricorn My bare minimum is glowing skin, I've finally found my PERFECT personalized care for that, and it took prob thousands of dollars in trying out various methods and products and brands over the yrs and I will cry when any of those products are discontinued. Cry, and then riot. Other than that,
-concealer for eyes
-translucent powder
-black eyeliner
-a bit of brow powder
-light natural blusher or bronzer (but not always)
-nude lipliner (natural lip tone color) with plain lip balm So it's pretty bare minimum a la boring ol' Cap. The craziest I'll go will be jewel toned eyeliner instead or alongside the black. No foundation, lipstick, lip gloss, mascara or eyeshadow. Well, I will do the iridescent white or ivory shadow for the brow bone and cheekbone sometimes, that's nice for a change.

I have never bought MAC.
I don't use foundation, I use BB Cream. It's pretty cheap - just around $20, but you have to import it so shipping can be a pain.
I use Bobbi Brown Undereye concealor and reg. concealor (it blends perfectly with my skin tone, which is like amazing because I've never found anything else that works)
Also use Bobbi Brown translucent powder and shimmer brick for highlighting
Eyeshadow - I use both almay cuz it's cheap but good quality and also the Too-Faced Romantic eye shadow box thingy.
For liner, again, almay pencil.
The only Mascara that works for me is the Covergirl lashblast.
I use YSL blush.It's really expensive, but it lasts a long time, so I don't feel too guilty. I used to have terrible skin, but I fixed it somewhat now.
I wash my hands thoroughly.
I use Skin Food Milk Cleansing Cream for my makeup remover. (You tissue it off, but it's really great for dry skin!)
I wash hands again and then rinse my face about 30/40 times until every little drop is off.
In the morning I use Neutrogena stress free wash.
AT night I use Shiseido brightening cleanser (this is amazing! It's so soft, it feels wonderful!)
I then use The Shiseido Brightening softener (toner) with a cotton ball.
Then I put on LOTS and LOTS of moisturizer.
During the day I use Clinique and sunscreen.
At night I use the Fresh soy face cream + Skin food pumpkin au lait moisturizer.
For eye cream I switch up a lot. I think my favorite was the Roc Retinol + Avon Greek something
Sucks to be fair skinned! Any aging and marks show so easily. :\ But this routine works amazing for me! Expensive though!!! But it's worth it.

Ok, this is what I use when I do my make-up properly.....
1. I apply my foundation.
 I use either *buff* ^ or *sand beige* (if I'm tanned at the time.. I'm not now)
2. I apply concealer if needed, for the slight imperfection here or there (you'd think I was a Virgo lol) I use Revlon Colorstay Concealer --  3. I use a pink or peach blush. This is usually understated. I don't like it when the blush is too obvious and out there lol I think the eyes and lips should stand out most. The 'tawny peach' by Revlon is quite nice! 
4. I apply a facial powder overall - to blend everything so it looks nice and even. Lately I've used - "Diorskin Forever Compact". It's really amazing and it lasts ages - because you don't have to use much at all. It truly works wonders!
 OK --- so -now --- My blank sheet (otherwise known as my face) is ready - and I can start putting on some real make-up! This is the part I like the most... once the foundation & powder is all done... I feel like a painter creating a work of art IP: Logged |

I'm traumatized by makeup counter sales ladies ever since one put a coral eyeshadow and blush combo on me and thought it 'suited.'
Then I took my friend once and the lady only did half her face and wouldn't give her a towelette to take it off. They mean business!IP: Logged |

venus in aquarius, aries rising.I love to play with makeup, and I totally "collect" it and watch youtube for new ideas/products. It's almost like my version of painting, LOL. I pretty much wear it very naturally, if I'm going "out-out" on the town, I'll do super red lipstick or smokey eyes, but otherwise I make sure it doesn't look like I'm wearing much. I lovelovelove blush, and really hate mascara and lipgloss. ------------------
