I really don't have a "best friend" is the narrow defintion of the term. I, however, do have people that I click well with.

A Sun in Libra,Sun in Gemini, Sun in Aquarius and Sun in Aries seem to impress me.

I can't however say that I(fire sign) am friends with water sun sign people. Even though I do have a moon, venus, Saturn and Pluto in water, I simply don't do well with them.

Although, it must be noted, that I did feel a very strong sexual attraction to a Cancer whose sun formed an exact quincunx with my sun.

We always seemed to argue, disagree and have trouble being on the same page. His Mars formed an exact conjunction with my Venus and also with my Saturn.

Either than the former example, I can't say that I have been fortunate enough to attract the prolonged attention of these signs.

Earth signs are another story altogether though....

My first best friend was a Virgo with Scorpio ASC and I believe both Mars and Venus in Scorpio (although I'm positive about Venus)

My sister-'til-death/"ride or die" best friend is a Scorpio ASC, Scorpio Sun, Mercury in Scorpio, Venus in Scorpio, Mars in Libra. I'm sure she's got Sagittarius in her outer planets, but she's like me in that she only gets along with Sagittarius, Scorpios, or Aries. Those three signs usually end up becoming her best friend and I suspect it has something to do with our honesty...

My old best friend is a something ASC, Cancer Sun, Cancer Moon, Mercury in Leo (thank god for that), Venus in Gemini, Mars in I don't know. Him and I are often too busy to keep in touch now and days but there was a time where we really needed each other to lean on. We've kept the friendship alive long-distance for nearly 6 years.

I also instantly clicked with two Pisces at work, but they're not as comforting as a Scorpio or as soft as a Cancer. However, I like that you can tell a Pisces exactly how it is and they don't flinch.

I feel like a really get them. I am more of an 'IN' personality type, and the last one I was close to more of an 'EN' type...it was so amazing. I'd never met someone who talk so about their feeling and emotions.

And then those beautiful, big, clear eyes. When we separated (we were just friends, life just moved us apart), I went through a mild depression. Continually telling myself they would come back, they never did. I've not quite recovered, actually, lol. That was 2 years ago, and I still think about my old friend. :: tear ::

But that is pretty much the only water sun sign...I don't know...I can tell when I meet someone with a strong cancer placement, the energy has been very nice. Venus cancer, is so beautiful and sensitive, the heart shows right through those eyes. Anyways, empathically, I just feel them.
