RunAroundScreaming,what do your other placements look like? I've got a whole bunch of cancer friends (most with lots of Capricorn in their charts) and they only hang out with earth signs. So I guess it must be the rest of the chart.

When it comes to celebrities, most are fire or water signs, not much air and earth there. So naturally they'll bond.

I'm a Pisces (Leo asc., Venus in Aries, Virgo moon), and a lot of my friends are either Sagittarians, or they have Sagittarius rising.

My husband is a Leo with Sag rising, and two of my best friends are Libras with Sag rising. A lot of my good friends are also Virgos, most of them with other fire placements.
My mom is a Cancer who married a Libra and then a Leo (she's still married to the Leo), and my dad is a Libra who married two Cancers (Libra with Pisces moon).

Well my best friend is a Sagittarius but I've always attributed it more to us sharing the same Moon sign and that my Saturn is in Sagittarius ---->> so naturally I have alot to learn from them. Other than that, my close friends are Pisces, Scorpio Moons, or Earth Mooners.

I read everything you said and chose to ignore it because again, all you do is focus on Sun Signs. Unfortunately, all of the examples you presented are essentially meaningless because I can come up with the same number of examples where Water signs are NOT best friends with Fire signs.

ie: My boyfriend's best friend is a fellow Cancer. Growing up, I (Air sign) was best friends with another Cancer. Ex boyfriend (Pisces) was best friends with an Aqua (air). It's not significant. What IS significant is that you're close to Leos because you have 3 planets in Leo.
