IF YOUR 12th house planets conjuncts Ascendant Then they are considered as 1st house planets. So you must ignore interpretations.

My Sun/Venus/Neptune conjunct the Asc. Agh, I'd been thinking they're 12th house planets. Thank you for poiting that out

But... on the second thought...Still, the descriptions are accurate to an extent. I work in a hospital, am a night creature and love to sit in night bars. I live in my little world, also have an unhealthy interest in death n sexual fantasies. But maybe the sexual fantasies part is caused by hormones =))

Mert
How would you make the distinction of what conjuncts the ASC and what is in the 12th house.
What orb would you use?
Thank you !

Oh great!
I have Mars in 12h house, but conjunct the ASC by 2 degrees. Does that brighten my prospects a bit?

Actually I think my Mars is both, very 12th house and very 1st house, which is interesting.

It is on 5 Sagittarius in 12th house conjunct Neptune and N N on 9 Sagittarius in 1st house, with the ASC smack in the middle on 7 Sag.
Which of course means that the Mars/Neptune - midpoint is exactly conjunct ASC.

The feeling and expression of anger has always been an issue for me. But wow, what a breakthrough it was when I realized that I indeed can be angry!
Nowadays I try to let it out in small doses, and not let Neptune fog it and water it down, cause then it is like a pressurecooker. It will come out, but probably in selfdestructive suffocating ways, and pretty uncontrolled.
So it is better to let it out, when it happens (though I still do not always know when I am angry).

I used to have so little energy I thought. But whenever I am fighting FOR someone or something, my energy is endless, and I feel like I can literally move mountains; usually when it is to help weaker people or even children.

Another thing that is interesting is that I often do not know what I really want, and yes that also relates to sexual things. Am I really attracted to someone or do I just imagine I am?

It is easier if the other person is Neptunian in nature, cause that takes a lot of the confusion away. Like all of a sudden my Mars is free to play.

I have to commend you on this article. It was one of the best I have read.
I am in awe ,in a bad way I suppose of the Moon and Mars in the 12th that my father has.
I feel so much pain that he had to go through that. He is classic for them

Sun in the 12th, not near ascendant.

Night person? yes.
Hospital? yes yes, as a patient.
Occult? astrology, yes.
Criminal tendency? yes, I would definitely sympathize with something like the Baader Meinhof gang.

Moon in the 12th house.
I can't, for the life of me,express myself in public the way I do at home.
Not even my closest friends know me like I do, and even my parents think I'm hard-hearted sometimes.
I keep myself in check, but kind of like restrained by my own handcuffs and super glue.
To others, they probably feel like I don't have emotions or feelings because they're so hard to reach.
And I'll probably seem stone cold
In sticky situations, I'm the eye of the storm because I can't lose myself to the moment. It's a self-control issue.
I also think it can be ridiculous how some girls can throw emotions into the mix to get what they want. I believe in having to work for it, not playing damsel in distress.

But it's not all rotten. Sometimes it proves to be useful.
I am interested in the occult, but along with everyone else on this forum, with or without a 12th house planet. Maybe it points to something else? A whole other level of the occult? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

hmmmmm......some of the things just don't resonate. I don't know how this house is associated with sex and death. Its 8th house i believe.

I think its past life reflection. And if so then all that description could be true. Sun and Nep in 12th in Scorpio. Ha ha ha! (Thats evil laughter OK?) My Jup conj moon just doesn't allow me to think in those lines. I think its past life stuff.

Well 8th house is repression.12th is suppression.
I suppose the main difference is one is deeper lol

In vedic astrology, 12th house is associated with satisfaction in sex.(there are many other traits also)

Could be, because this department never really got me going and i didn't feel repulsed either. So it was like "OK its Cool". So that must be the reason. Thx. Been there done that case (of past life). That also explains the interest the opp sex shows in me and i feel what the h**l, i am too old for that (our culture mentality). I used to wonder whether i was a snob. Now things are falling in place. And which site would you recommend for other traits pl?

I don't agree with those at all. It looks like a mish-mash of 8th and 12th and a lot of other gibberish.

I totally agree! I know the 12th and 8th houses have similarities in common, but lets not mesh the two together here...that's just laziness. Sex is primarily a 2nd, 5th, and 8th house issue. 12th house can be involved, but its usually by association with sex planets or rulers of the aforementioned houses.

Bump this is so great!

It doesn't happen all at once. You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept.
Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.
But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand.

I don't know if its the controlling aspect of an 8th house Moon or maybe even this placement, but I know I'm not going without it because I'm not interested.

Other than that, most of the interpretations for my 12th house planets were interesting. I do have a secret world/reality, and I often wondered why I've never published anything.....until I realize all the technicalities that come with that. =___= I also have many hidden parts of myself that I prefer to keep secret or have been repressed. Individuality/eccentricity was one (Uranus), depression was another (Saturn), mysticism would be the third (Neptune).

I have saturn in 12 in aries. I identified with what it is said. i may have a stronger libido now, given that my hormones have changed a little, but i remember me not needing sex at all for 2 years if i had not a partner for that time period. and it is true, i dont see too much in having sex without partnership. it is not a moral thing, because i can allow myself to do it if i want it, it is just does not make me any happier.

Sag Sun, Mars, and Neptune in the 12th.

The Mars part rings very true for me. The people closest to me,(as in my inner, inner circle)know that I have an extremely explosive temper, otherwise, you would never guess this about me. It's strange to me that I don't identify with this part of myself, even though those closest to me know enough to be cautious. I don't like this one bit--I'm really repulsed by it in fact, but when it happens I usually feel justified in the moment. My anger usually erupts without much warning, even for me.

My libido is anything but diminished! However, according to this article, Neptune in the 12th brings a tendency to spend a lot of time daydreaming about sex, and that's definitely true! I can spend entire days fantasizing about sex, but without interest in actually indulging in sex, which can be highly frustrating. Note: I only share this in the interest of exploring these placements, not to frivolously dish on my sexuality!

Overall, I feel like the 12th house is a strange place for all this Sag energy. I don't dislike it (mostly) but I sometimes wish the fire element didn't feel so diluted.
