BethC it is not the whole sign it is the composite of all the factors you need to take into account. That statement makes one twelfth of the population count and it just is not that simplistic or shallow. I said a statement too that was like a blanket statement however I looked into it indepth and for noticed a trend that the statement only occurred when they had a COMBINATION OF A lot of saturn involved/excess of Aries (ie Aries in at least 2 of the big three, sun moon asc). Often hard aspects involved too.

If he makes you happy, make him happy. Then he'll make you happy by doing at least twice the things you did for him. And if you match that, he'll do it twice of that again. IMO Masculine signs are *overt*.. They do not hide things in this manner.. (not usually).
MintGirl - What you described is more classic for a feminine sun sign or a person with strong feminine influence.

What I meant was --- Lets say a Leo person goes through a bad situation.. Their reaction is usually not: -

"oh no! woe is me.. Ima sit in this corner now and be depressed."

OR

"oh no - woe is me.. Ima sit in a corner and be depressed -- WHEN - no one is watching... & pretend I'm find the rest of the time"

No. Their reaction is more like "Right - So **** happens.. This was crap.. Sometimes I cry about it --- but you know what? Overall life is good! I'm still me. I'm OK."

When Im in a tough spot or situation, my reaction is to not cry.. but to "do" fight it..

Yes deep down inside I am very sensitive.. Messing with my ego will wound me.. But I wont ever show it... I will disconnect myself from it. and hold my head up high and keep my self respect and integrity..

THATS being a true Leo!

A leo acquaintance of mine from years ago referred to me as "immature"... I took offense to it. He had a very *cool* persona and I did not have such a persona. Later He and I went to the beach with a mutual friend and spent the whole day being super nerdy and played "spies" (his idea we were 22 at the time...) from underneath our inflatable boat. We had a blast. Anyways, it became instantly clear to me that he wasn't nearly as cool and mature as he would have everyone believe.

had written a reponse and it dissapeared. THANK you all for comments, interesting. I was asked about my Cappie Asc, it makes me appear more serious than I am, I am a little reserved but when I get to know you, it is fun. I am proud of my leo moon and can relate to descriptions of it. It makes me feel maternal somehow, protective of those I love and care for. And loyalty, but too often have been hurt so right now feel like I should hold my heart and emotions close. I cannot help, not helping people. Mr Leo is looking for a job and I saw one that looked perfect for his skills so sent it to him and encouraging him to apply. what is wrong with me? I shouldn't GIVE too much, this happened with Mr Aries/Scorpio moon and he used and abused my care and support. So, yes, perhaps I should hold close my leo qualities and remember I deserve to be treated well.

We can be stupidly optimistic but also cynical whereas the capricorns are pessimistic but rarely cynical....don't ask me how that one works.

If we love someone...our whole heart goes into it, no holding back and you really can have the last dollar/pound/euro from our pocket.

We hate mind games (unless there's a scorp influence) and will generally give anybody a chance. We won't judge you on your past and neither will we hold you to ransom if you get something wrong. People can see this as naive but to us it's about trust. The one thing that leos will defend to the death is their childhood levels of wonder at life itself.

We want things to be mythic.

We don't like being bogged down in the mundane matters such as washing pants or scrubbing floors. If we have to do such things we'll turn it into a game or play music and be superstars in our minds.

noblefish- thanks for the insight! On Astro.com, it says I have sun in 11th house and moon in 7th. Haha, attention, yeah. I do have cappie asc which grounds me plus accomodating and pleasing mars and venus in libra. Perhaps too much fire is not a good thing! Having said that I sense water in Mr Leo's chart, he is adopted so not totally sure of his birthdate but a Leo for sure. We are friends right now, all very platonic. Though he did tell me I am an amazing person. (I never had compliments from Mr Aries/Scorpio moon, I was supposed to FEEL them right?).

In love and friendship I seem to feel my libra influences more, I help people I care about and will put them first, BUT if I feel I am being taken advantage of, then I withdraw. How does mars/venus interplay with moon?

I'm a Leo and my boyfriend is a Leo too.

We are proud, self oriented (sometimes) and extremely nice/generous. And if being generous is a weakness, than we are weak yes, otherwise we are born with a fighting spirit.

Yes we can be arrogant, but that just happens if you poke (HARD) our ego, neither try to push us around.
One of the things we MOST hate is being told what/how to do stuff.

I am usually very outgoing/extrovert and I am always making people laugh, my boyfriend not as much, he is more quite but when he feels comfortable and speaks, he is also super funny and fun to be around.

We love attention and being pampered, nooooo I don't mean you just have to buy Dolce & Gabana for us, but little gestures go a long way. For example, calling us to know how we are, how that job interview went or if we are feeling better from the flu, et cetera... These are all examples of being nice, showing you care and giving us attention!

When is his birthday? If you know the date, you can always make a chart for 12pm or 12am and have a rough idea of his ASC and placements.

water/fire, not really much air going on. He called me today for help with his job application, my libra venus/mars is happy to help but I am hesistant to give too much of myself.

Moon in Aries is not really a happy moon, the energy of Aries doesn't really go well with moon's energy. He may be someone that requires a lot of freedom and independence and he may be quite dramatic, since the Aries fire energy will emphasize the Leo fire energy.
However, he could have a water ASC that could tone that fire down... But this is just speculation since we don't know for sure his birth time.

Yea, if he has problems he won't want to be around, it's normal, because we don't want to show our sad faces in front of other people, specially if we are trying to impress someone. We always try to come across has the happiest, "everything is excellent with us" person even if we are feeling miserable inside.

It seems therefore he is being honest with you and the best thing you can do is giving him this space and let him sort out his head.
When he is back, ask him how is he and if he had fun, he will appreciate your friendship and care.
