Hi allOk, have met a Leo guy recently. I have a leo moon which is good I guess. We have a fun chemistry. I actually haven't met many leo men, it's always been aries/scorpios. Mr Leo has typical charm, mane of hair, dazzling smile, he took me for dinner and paid, gave me his coat when I was cold. Having been with Mr Aries/Scorpio moon who was selfish with his show of affection,I am simply loving being paid attention. So, what do I need to know about leo men/women? They're gregarious, dignified, usually have some sort of charisma, but on the flip side can have big ego and like things their way.
Can be pretty upbeat and generous, but can be alittle self absorbed sometimes? It's really hard to say, bc that's just sun sign. You gotta look at his moon, venus, asc, merc and mars. IP: Logged |

Thanks! He was adopted so can't have accurate birth data  But he seems watery too so I sense some cancer or water signs.Yes. We did clash last night (just communicating, but I don't always agree and my fiery Saggie spirit comes out!). Sparkling IP: Logged |

Hi, I really don't know his birth date. If you take his birthday given to him he has aries moon,leo mercury, cancer venus and mars leo. I had issues with my leo moon with my ex who had scorpio moon. I was often accused of being a "princess" and wanting too much attention and maybe for his intense quiet moon, I was too much. I have libra mars/venus so adore fire men. Are leo men really arrogant? They're not always arrogant! It depends on the rest of the chart. I'm sure you'll get his birthdate soon enough  I've known different types of Leos... It also depends on age.. Younger Leos.. teens/20s seem more arrogant to me. IP: Logged |

Hi BettyI have a good older leo friend but he was saying how he had to curb his tendency to appear arrogant and upset people unintentionally. He is in his 30's now and seems more mellow. Sparkling IP: Logged |

I'm a leo and lived with a sag bloke for 5 years, we got on well and the relationship was easy enough. I can be arrogant but it's rare, I have a virgo venus and mc. I've seen far more showmanship from the air signs than I ever have in fire. Yes I'm fixed but I've got other stuff going on Jup/aqua, mars/taurus, scorp asc. My ex was more flexible but rarely stood his ground over anything and couldn't hold onto his principles/values. There's good and bad in everything but on the whole it'll come down to him as an individual. I can't agree on the weakness thing though, especially if I'm hungry....I'd take on anybody. IP: Logged |

I think you can hurt them easily on a superficial level.. but you can't 'really' hurt them (it happens rarely).
Like cats, they have 9 lives.
They're actually very strong people in the sense that they can withstand some pretty ****** situations in life and still have a smile on their face. I have Capricorn Mars & Moon (Aries Sun) - which are 'thick skinned' placements. In comparison to many of my friends, I do 'seem' emotionally tough/thick skinned. But not in comparison to the Leos I know. In the past - I've underestimated Leo people on first impressions.
I started of seeing them as jolly/happy/bright... (very much unlike my capricorn cynicism)... My first impression was that they are 'softies'..
But then I watched them in the midst of life-events (very difficult circumstances)... and I realised that were I to be in the same situation - I'd freak out or panic.. (& I do not get easily freaked out!) -- At these times I actually realised how strong they truly are. IP: Logged |

I think one can be tough and sensitive too?I have an aries rising and virgo sun. Think ppl assume I'm alot tougher than I actually am. When I got betrayed bad by the only person I ever loved, I was really screwed up and was kinda suicidal (thoughts not actions) at start. It's been a year and so far, nobody EVER saw me when I was down. I just keep it inside. They even made comments like 'you don't seem sad at all' and literally the 4th day after I broke up with him, this counselor I felt the need to see asked me if I drank or was on drugs cos I didn't seem affected? It's like jeez lady, you think I'll show how hurt I am in front of a complete stranger? But yeah. Taken a whole year to get out of a deep depression, and nobody ever did see that side of me at all. I think alot of ppl are this way? Cheery, happy, unaffected on the surface, and completely shattered inside. IP: Logged |

Yes, but Leos are survivalists -- Whether they are at a 'tough' point or a 'sensitive' point.
There is a love of life there and they are not as prone to depression as some of the other signs. quote:

When I said "smile" - I meant a real smile (coming from a genuine appreciation of those things in their life that are good and positive) – not a fake smile – hiding deeper feelings of hurt.
What you are describing here, sounds like Scorpio to me. Also, above --- when I said that I saw them as "bright/cheery" on first impressions - what I meant was.. that I saw them as unable to cope with the dark side of life.. Being Capricorn influenced I am very cynical and very aware of unpleasant realities.
But as time went on I realised that actually these Leo people are VERY able to cope with this side of life... even MORE so than I am. IP: Logged |

You know. People can appear genuinely happy (or be happy but be sad at the same time inside due to whatever issues.Leos included o_O we ARE all human afterall. The only scorpy in my chart is pluto lol. I got three main planets in libra, sun and mars in virgo, aries asc and outer planets in cappy. Oh and jupiter in cancer haha. I'm not scorpo like at all! Hi Mintgirl,I interpretate in your words that you didn't even let them (everyone around you) KNOW how you felt. I had my focus on that when reading your words.
You went through a LOT of pain and being a Leo-Sun myself I simply couldn't imagine hiding that fact from them. I mean, through the facade of 'unaffectedness' I would at the least let them KNOW what's bothering me for such a long time.. maybe also because I don't believe I can hide something like that and IF I can hide it for moments than I would like them to know that despite of that I'm going through a very rough period in which I expect them to bear that in mind. If necessary I would even repeat it to remind them.. (I do/did this..) IP: Logged |

As a leo, even with a scorp asc I will not hide my feelings if I've been hurt. If I can't (for whatever reasons) approach the person concerned then I'll tell someone else, but I never deny how I feel, I have to verbalise it.IP: Logged |

hiI can't hide how I feel very well but I CAN hide it when I have to. At work I am professional (Cappie Asc?) but emotions can overwhelm me at times and I need to communicate. I can get very down sometimes but can drag myself out it somehow. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Sure I've you know, talked about it alittle, but of course I'm not going to show the extent of my pain as it's hard for ppl to understand. And I guess as a virgo, I really don't like to appear vulnerable. As with all fixed signs it's more bending the world to your will than bending your will to the world (trait of the mutable ones) .. it almost seems as if the fixed signs are more in tune with their individuality? Despite all the punches it's causing?IP: Logged |
