He died today.

Whatever you think of big business corporate America or how he ran his company he did have a genius mind and I know he inspired others with his innovations.

To be honest, we might not be talking to each other on this message board if not for Steve Jobs' pioneering the personal computer (Apple II was one of the first computers people could have in their homes) and graphic user interfaces (as opposed to command line interface). Our world - both the real world and virtual world - would look very different without him.

Poor guy At 56, he was a lot sicker then what they wanted us to know.

He is one of the few people to mix technology and business together and make it work!!!.

Most are good at one and bad at the other.

Apple won't be the same without him. No more vision, the iPhone 4s was released on a whimper and already the iPhone is 50% of apple's revenue.

They need more vision and products to stay on top, doubtfull without jobs. Already there on the path that took microsoft down, instead of making a new product they just rebrand and update the existing one.

I bet we well get to iPhone 10 by the time the decade is over with minor improvements on the previous model.

He will be missed.

I suspect he was dead a lot earlier and they chose to relase the news after they relased the iPhone 5.

I mean Steave jobs is to Apple as Robert E Lee is to the confederacy.

What I'm curious about at this point is what is it in his chart that causes people to deify him...the stuff I see people say when they speak about him is borderline scary...

After taking another look around his chart, I see he had Neptune in late Libra, not all that far from Spica...THAT explains a bit. In general the outer planets are really busy in his chart and seem to make a lot of aspects to the inner ones, which personalizes them...so he triggered something on a mass scale in a lot of the collective or public at large...

Thanks Cosmic I will get the chart posted.

Cosmic do you think April 11th would be better since Wikipedia (I know, I know) has a release date for it of 4/11 same yr.
Do demonstrations of a product occur prior to a release date? That's a dumb Q huh. haha. Well at least they do have a release date posted so we know it is closer to beginning of April than later.

Apple I has been under a progressed Mars to n.Saturn conjunction. Mars/Saturn can relate to death it can also relate to coming back better than before after a long absence, and gaining rewards for hard work.
There are a few conjunctions to Jobs chart on 4/1 so we do know it is early April. Around that time solar arc Moon (ruler of 11th) was conj n.Mars playing into his grand cross so he possibly felt it was a good idea to bringing his passions before the public since Moon easily relates to public appeal and 11th is house of fans. So he must have intuitively felt that somewhere Wozniak had a winning product.
I don't know his bio like you do but in Wikipedia it states he sold his car to finance the comp's creation. There are a few things that could relate to this. Number one is natal Saturn in the 3rd could show problems related to transportation that impair getting around town, solar arc Neptune was conj his Saturn there and as Neptune dissolves he likely felt that his dream superseded his need to comfortably get around. His natal Neptune hints at finances anyway since it's placed in his 2nd and actually rules 7th house of partnerships. So this was something he willingly involved himself in . Another interesting note is p.Venus conj his n.Merc in Aqua in his 5th house of creative effort so there were prob a lot of ideas being sparked at this time. Venus rules his 2nd house of finances so it's likely that he had a premonition that there was something to be gained here if he could just focus the Aquarian energy to his benefit. His progressed Sun in natal 7th now instead of 6th might have put focus on partnerships and how he could bring his tinkering/focus on details (Sun h6) into a collaboration with another. Sun rules the Leo 12th so in the back of his mind he might have had dreams of making it big instead of being seen as the typical nerdy persona that Virgo ASC + h6 Sun can give off. He had solar arc Mercury conj n.Sun, Mercury carrying the natal inventive Aquarian energy to his focus in the 6th on really squirreling away at a project.

If that is a good chart for Apple then it shows power struggles for dominance within the company with Sun/Mars/Pluto t square but also trail blazing with the Aries Sun sq to Mars, it's all Cardinal so there is an emphasis on breathing new life into the product and generating ideas. A strong competitive spirit with the Aries.Mars emphasis, not a company that would be comfortable being at a stand still since there is energy to burn. Uranus conj NN is interesting, with Moon conj Jupiter at SN. Moon/Jupiter is generally favorable for popularity, Moon would be the public's response. With the opp to Uranus there could be a sense that the maverick quality associated with the company is going to keep riding its creative wave as it were and will keep moving on no matter if the public buys into it or not. The purpose (conj nn) is to innovate and stand out from the rest, in Scorpio it could leave the company alienated with its emphasis on self interest (when combined with the Aries/Mars as well). Uranus is fixed and so is Scorp so that's double emphasis on 'we will do it our way.' Scorp/Uranus combo would like to shock and create a mysterious air for itself, a sense of 'we know the secret and we won't tell you but we want you to buy into it.' Pluto opp Mercury could point to volatility surrounding communications within the company, secrets, manipulations. Uranus opp Moon erratic public appeal. I read about the Apple stock and it mentioned that the company has never had a solid trading history, many ups and downs in comparison to other big tech companies. Sun/Pluto could also point to many transformations of its power infrastructure, who is heading the company, how they are controlling it, are they overstepping their bounds. Venus trine Saturn could point to eventually getting to a place where there is a sentiment that what they have to offer is a quality product, worthy of continued investment. Mars is dispositor of Aries Sun/Merc and trine Uranus so that is added maverick energy.
What do you think Cosmic, how does that stand against the company? How would you read that chart? I just noticed Moon is exalted in Taurus there..so is Venus in Pisces, Sun in Aries & Uranus in Scorpio.

I can't see any of the charts in this thread.
Did he have a strong Uranus? I loved the genius in this man and he has been an inspiration. RIP.

Actually, Spool, i4S is Apple's tribute to Steve and I'm pretty sure that with a genius mind like his, he was not foolish enough to leave his company in the hands of someone incapable taking it forward.

This is so sad and I am amazed at how his death has affected so many people around the world.

Steave is the man you have love to hate.

I admire the man and respect what he is created, I gave him a lot of gratitude from being a unwanted baby to a success, everyone loves a self made man.

Thats inspration we can all take and admire.

However, I hate the arrogance, control freak, cunning and cut throat buissness man he was.

I don't agree with the fact that he has taken advantage of peoples poor purchasing decisions.

Half of the consumers who buy apple products don't know the basics. Do they know the diffrence between ddr2 and ddr3 memory? do you they know the diffrence software can also make.

Do they really understand how multi-threading realy works?.

Do they relize the iPad can't fully replace your laptop, the average person doesn't know that.

All tech companies take advantage of that fact, but appl is the worst for profiting of peoples lack of technical knowledge.

Appl success is 80% marketing and branding.
There comeback is mainly on Steave coming back and jumping on the mobile device market early on with the ipod and to where we are know.

The htc sensation and htc xl is already ahead of the iphone. The mobile space is getting more competive and apple has to define another market to move forward.

Tim Cook is a supply chain genius and Steave was a innovator, together they work well. Tim is the opposite of Steave Jobs.

Tim Cook is the next best person, but he isn't as great as Jobs was.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way but I was about to sign up to be an apple mobile developer, because I know I could get away makeing $$$ with my code. But, didn't knowing its not right.

Its because of Appl that I don't like the tech field anymore and rather be in geomatics combining computer science - enviromentalism together.

Saturn was about to rise by solar arc direction, at age 58-59 according to this birth time. Saturn rules the 6th house of misfortune and afflicts the ruler of 1st with a square. The long activated square indicates his continuous health problems and slowly declining health. His cancer diagnosis at 48 coincides with the time when the ASC entered Saturn's orb. The IC (end) was also applying a conjunction to the ruler of 1st in 6th.
