Okay, I love super intelligent men. Seriously. It’s not odd for me to be with someone who is like one of the characters on “The Big Bang Theory” (borderline Asperger’s and all, my guys usually dress better though lol) or Dr. Reid from “Criminal Minds”. As for looks though, there is something that I like a lot – green eyes… I just love a pair of gorgeous greens, from almost clear green to a muddied green hazel, that is what I love to gaze into. Blue eyed guys are okay and I only dated one guy with brown eyes and to be honest he really didn’t do it for me physically. I read somewhere that green eyes are related to Mercury and are a sign of intelligence. Interestingly, my Mars is in Gemini in the 5th and Virgo rules my 8th house while Mercury is in my 7th…There must be something to that… I also like tall men (out of necessity, I’m 5’10”), light hair (especially kind of longish around the ears and nape of the neck) and I really like slender yet wiry as well (something else attributed to Mercury). Plus a nice Air hand (square palm, long fingers) is amazing… It is kind of odd because when I was younger (late teens/early 20s) I was totally into darker, beefy types… I was also trying to figure out what these guys saw in me and I am noticing that the ones I had a meaningful ltr with have either Sun or Moon in Scorpio and/or Venus in Scorpio, Libra or Aries. I think my Pluto in the 8th and Uranus in Scorpio on the MC (I have Aqu AC) might have something to do with it… Plus they were into their physical opposite as well – someone curvy with dark hair and eyes… What is your superficial must have? Nice lips? Muscles? Where and how does it show up in your chart? ETA: The post should be titled "physical features", sorry, I got up too early this morning...well no, eye color is a trait...anyway... Dark hair is a MUST!
I wont date any guy with blonde hair.. I love a goatee, or facial hair.. Butttt Im a sucker for a nice chest

Lioness - I used to go strictly for dark hair but I think it got played out for me or something. I think my black haired Scorpio ex might have done me in. Now I don't even look twice at dark haired men. I agree about facial hair, I like some nice stubble... I never thought about chests until I met a Taurus with the most defined pectoral muscles then I thought "hmm, that is a nice quality..." lol! IP: Logged |

If you look at pictures of past ex's they all kinda look alike.. LOL
I know what I like.. I love dark hair, facial hair, and a chest... My ex husband (when we were married) wasnt allowed to shave his goatee. He messed up once and had to shave it, he slept on the couch until it grew back...  That will teach him to mess up on the facial hair... LOL IP: Logged |

LOL, I understand that completely. One of my exes had the shaggy hair and stubbly beard that I loved but then he went away to visit his mother and he got a shave and a haircut...shaking my head... He looked too pretty and I am not into pretty boys. Luckily his stubble grew quickly!

Downtomars great topic! What's more fun then brainstorming about the ideal man.  Well, I like em tall. 6'2 is a manageable height. Not to tall so that I feel like a munchkin at 5'7 and not to short I'm towering over them in 4 inch heels. I can't say enough about tall men, they are just beautiful and elegant. I like dark hair, clear eyes, and a deep and ancient heritage. Rich heritages are so fascinating and I have one and the idea of uniting two different cultures on a cosmic stage is love made visible. It's in their clothes, their mannerisms, their words and their ancient eyes. I think their culture, mind and spirituality is more interesting to me then per say their looks, but I'll play this game. A good quality mind is unmatchable, with knowledge and cultural awareness and eccentricity. Free spirits who are open and expressive and who challenge authority and restrictions, who are champions of justice for all people. Athletic and toned bodies, rough but delicate limbs. A smile that can melt the ice caps, a good heart and elusive soul. A mountain/desert man who looks dashing in a clean black suit.

I'm a Libra Sun, Aries Moon, Aquarius Rising and I guess the culture and intelligence would be the Aquarius in me. The roughness and athleticism would be the Aries in me, and the refinement, delicate features and champion of justice attributes would be the Libra/Venusian in me. My chart ruler Uranus is in Sagittarius, so it colors my Aquarius rising with my love of cultures. A truly complex free spirited individual to match my complex free spirited self.

NativelyJoan - I am with you on the blending of cultures and champion of justice thing – Jupiter is in my 7th trine Sagittarius in the 11th and the Moon is in my 9th. All of the men I have dated have been of a different race or culture and they have been socially responsible types, but quietly, the brains behind the operation.
The ex that I could imagine myself getting back together with (lol) is a civil rights attorney and sometimes he would have the longish hair and stubble while wearing a suit to meet clients. Yummy, it was like Rolling Stone meets GQ – so sexy…

I love guys with dark hair, hazel, brown, or blue eyes (usually brown or hazel)....thin yet toned, strong, my height or taller (i'm 5'6" and i don't mind guys my height). I don't like big muscles. I won't date fat or even chubby guys. I hate facial hair unless it's a 5:00 shadow or some stubble. I love long hair on guys, too. Lean, dark and a little scruffy is my type.
The most attractive body parts on a guy are hands, forearms, neck, jawline, and ass.

My God!Let's see. I'm short, fat and generally look unattractive. I have no facial hair and otherwise no other body hair. I have stubby hands with short fingers. My body buldges only around my abdomen. I'm usually well groomed but my hair has a business cut, and that appears to be a turn off too, just like business attire. Can I impress with a perfect SAT score and a 4.0 GPA? hahahaha IP: Logged |

@Downtomars Yes. Activists, humanitarians, volunteers, social justice advocates, men who want to truly make a difference. I'm very into men active in nonprofits and grassroots movements. As well as deeply active in local and global communities, getting their hands dirty or clean, living as the natives do. I love authentic men, who are innovative and idea savvy. Give me a humanitarian with dark hair, clear eyes, originality, passion and a grin that could kill, and I'll show you just what it takes to have me stumbling over my own feet. I have actually never been with someone who wasn't a different culture. Then again I've only dated a handful of people (I'm very discriminate). But I also consider my self a global citizen, all cultures connecting to each other. All men are beautiful though.

I'm very into personality and intelligence in a guy (air moon, venus, merc, virgo sun, merc conjunct my desc in 7th house)BUT in terms of appearance I like guys with dark hair. ABIT of facial stubble (mmm). Somebody who has an aura of sophistication about them. Someone who has grey eyes or hazel eyes.
Someone who isn't TOO tall, would prefer taller than 5'9, shorter than 6'3. Someone who has large hands lol and wide shoulders. Not scrawny or petite ew. Someone who has a bright smile. Like gives off this carefree vibe? Don't really want a guy that oozes sexuality, want one that is more down to earth and appears alittle innocent and 'pure' about them. Large noses are good. Every guy I have ever dated has had an aquiline nose. Italian, Irish, Serbian, it didn't matter – the exes have all had big, beaky, bumpy noses. Okay, I see some personality traits are seeping in so I’ll gladly add to it: I like kind of quiet, not extremely nice to everyone they encounter type guys. A little socially awkward, not a “man about town” type. I like them to be busy too. This is because I like to be sweet in the relationship, and use my warmth to help them come out of their shell and make them relax. I mentioned before, I like being the Dharma to my man’s Greg. I also like Corie and Paul in “Barefoot in the Park”. I seem to attract those busy and quiet men anyway so it all works out. It sometimes backfires though, especially when a man is a depressive alcoholic (my Scorpio ex) and considers me “the bright spot in his life” and uses it as an excuse to stalk. LOL I Love brains too and watch the big band theory with husband!
Also my favorite eye color is green or hazel like you! My husband is really really smart and his brain is even really big but in a way I find really sexy. I am always complementing him on it and playing with the back of his head and I feel excited when I touch the back of his head LOL.
Like you I tend to attract guys with hazel or green eyes. IDK why but I do.

I HAVE GEMINE IN THE 7TH. The nicest hands I have seen in my life is from my Gemini prom date who is a surgean LOL. super smart guy when it comes to the field of medicine. I like slender yet wiry too! LOL awwwww. I like guys who are toned but I HAVE NEVER BEEN INTO SUPER STRONG GUYS. Ooh, surgeon hands, I like that description! Wow, I didn’t realize how Mercurial my taste has become. My Juno is in Gemini also and I have discussed how I don’t care for the Gemini personality traits (too nice, too jokey) in men but I guess I like the look! I think I only liked bulkier types when I was younger because I was insecure about being tall and curvaceous and I rejected guys I thought were “scrawny”. Now I love my body so I am like “bring your slender selves over here!”. Not exactly Don Knotts though because I still like nice, toned wiry strength. Like a military guy… See, this is why I love this stuff!

I like tall (usually 6'0, and I'm only 5'3), skinny guys, lean muscle (not into a lot of muscle), nice forearms (with veins), long fingers/big hands. I used to only go for dark hair, but now I find myself attracted to lighter hair and specifically red-heads. Hair color isn't as important as build. I care more about bodies than faces. I like a lot of tattoos (no tigers/dragons or tribals or chinese characters) and piercings and I LOVE stretched ears. It's funny though, I've never dated a guy with a lot of body mods. I also HATE facial hair. Yuck.Basically, I like "bad boys" but not beefcakes (and really the guys I go for could be called "queers" in some circles). I also really like a well dressed guy (of the "punk" persuasion). Venus in Pisces square Uranus/Saturn in 10th house, Mars in Sag in 6th mutual reception trine to Jupiter in Aries in 11th (also DSC ruler), DSC in Sag conjunct Saturn/Uranus (Neptune also in 7th). Obvious Sag/Cap/Aqua/Pisces theme. Although, the guy I was most in love with wasn't really any of these (except for the forearms/hands... he was also a blondie). IP: Logged |
