I realized I'm often attracted to guys others tell me I can do better than. Skeezi guys. Unavailable guys (in some form or another). Is there an astrological reason for this, and why are they SO often attracted to me? I'm a middle-aged soul (not an old soul, there's a difference.) and for so long I've said to myself "Okay, yeah he was gross. But there are GOOD guys out there. Don't give up. There really are." But time after time I'm disappointed. So... here's my chart in case it's needed, but we can discuss it in general as well.

I wonder if it's the Neptune squares first 'cause that's kind of the unconscious... Uranus in the 7th? Well yeah I guess you're right. That adds a bit of "touch and go", Saturn being the icy cold "touch" part.

So what. I'm supposed to give up my idea of a normal relationship and go be a mistress?

What is your idea of a normal relationship?

How would you like it to start and progress?

Guy sees girl, guy approaches girl gently (SLOWLY. At a nice pace.), gets to know her, they become friends - he confesses his passionate and undying love for her and her for him they get married and live happily ever after...

What do I get though? Unavailable guys. Gay guys. Weird guys.

venus in bad aspect to pluto or neptune. Check if you have the semisquare quincunx etc....by looking at the extra charts on astro.com when you pull up your natal.

Also, you have a sun-mercury-venus stellium...you must have a very attractive personality! Do you make friends really easily?

You can wait for something to happen to you or go after what you want. Either way you get something.
I had what you wanted. I didn't want happily ever after with them but I have had it, it is possible. I don't see a problem (!) There are a lot of romantic men out there in my not-so-humble opinion.

Maybe you attract unavailable emotional men because you yourself are that way in a sense? You probably don't know what you want, you're possibly afraid of commitment deep down inside so you attract the subconscious.

Could be wrong.

I really think that you just have an approachable personality, so all the weirdos are attracted to you because they know most other people would reject them, but you are nice to them.

Sux to be me, too!

Venus square Saturn, Pluto and Uranus. Neptune forever leading me astray in the 7th. Something always goes a bit haywire with my love life.

Oh, had a lot of heartache through my 20's, wishing after guys who looked at me like I was dryer lint. Got better later, but still can find myself daydreaming too much about guys that are already taken.

Then again, on some days, it does feel like all the good ones are taken!

Ah, love... Such a little devil sometimes.

^ LOL! You'd have a lot of members! Particularly on Valentine's Day.

Hey, that's the thing about love. When it doesn't sux, it REALLY doesn't sux... Can't help it. I, personally, LOVE love.

I swear I must have my chart memorized by now... I don't think Venus makes an aspect to pluto but if I remember it IS square Neptune. Unfortunately. How do you work with squares though? Are they permanent or just lessons?

And yeah... I would make friends easily if I secretly didn't have my guard up all the time but yes I'm quite charming in person.

Pretty much.

And at lindisfarne - Just realized it in my last post that me having my guard up means I keep a certain distance from people (one I don't think anybody would recognize) in my mind. ESP. when it comes to men because I've only ever seen my friends get used or duped or conned in some way. Anyway, I suppose that in a way is me being unavailable (and clearly ineffective since I let the weirdos in but am probably unknowingly keeping the good ones out.)

Hahaha! Well see I'm in my 20's. I feel like that's a cop out though. Like "OH you're in your 20's... just be promiscuous and live up to your drunken stereotype 'til you can join the grown-up 30s table."

I don't feel like I ever get looked at like dryer lint, it's just simply like I'm not there. I mean I'm kinda thankful for that considering taunting that other girls go through or the things they do because they THINK it will get them love.

Would Saturn in the 7th possibly lead to or cause a fear of physical intimacy?
