Ever since I turned 13 until now (I'm 21)my dating life has always experienced (and continues to experience) the same exact romantic dissapointing patterns. It's always the exact same story with my dating life: 1)I always go everywhere well groomed, and phisically speaking from 1 to 10 I would say im a 7 so im no Brad Pitt but im ok looking. 2)I meet a girl, I talk to her, make her laugh while also letting her know a bit of my serious side, I ask for her number, I call her for a few days , keep getting nice feed back, after a few calls I ask her out she says yes and we are set for the first date. (All in the same I usually ask out advice from other very experienced men to make sure I dont make any mistakes and to enhance my dating strategies) 3)But sadly theres literaly ALWAYS SOMETHING that happens before the first date that nothing can happen, it's always either that the girl for some other resposability can't make it,or that she lives to far,or that she dosen't have a car (or anyone who can provide transportation),or that I dont have a car(or anyone who can provide transportation), or that she's too old and gets cold feet, or that I'm too young and get cold feet, or that she cancels, or that she does not even call me to confirm, or that she simply never calls me again. 4)The point is that it ALWAYS ends up in NOTHING out of nowhere. And it always leaves me with a taste of things always ending before they even begun (wich is alot ore devastating than a serious breakup) And I'm throughly sick and tired (and emotionally drained of it. I've literaly had this experience a total of about a 100 times and counting. So Astrologically speaking I have narrowed it down to a few astrological aspects that I think could be the ones responsable for it: - My VENUS in the 9TH HOUSE: From what I've read this aspect says "I attract or Im atraccted to, foreign people". So far I've never had the opportunity to date anyone from another country, or have never had the opportunity to date anyone in another country. I've only had the opportunity to date (or tried to date) people from my own country. So could this be answer? -My 5TH HOUSE in PISCES: From what I've read this means I have "big deep feelings, but despite them, things do not always go my way" (In my case, the literaly never go my way). It also says that the person I fall in love with will be someone will be "someone who is not free, or too young, or from a different culture" So far i've never tried to date (or had the opportunity to date) someone who is neither "not free" nor "too young". So could this be the solution? -7TH HOUSE in TAURUS: It says that "My one on one relationships should be peaceful even if the exchange of ideas isn't peaceful" So far I haven't had anything that could be considered a relationship so what's up with that? ____________________________________________ Seriously ANY KIND OF HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. This is something that I've been dealing with for YEARS and I never seem to have the right answer. IP: Logged |

Venus in the 9th could also be for meeting someone at university, or a foreigner who is visiting your country, or a philosopher/published author, not just you visiting another country. H7 Taurus searches for someone to give them a sense of security cos Scorp makes em feel out of control, so they want, typically, a steady partner, to own their own home, etc. Also you could just be pessimistic, and setting obstacles in your path of which you are unaware. Obstacles/restrictions are Saturn so you may wanna look at that in your chart. If you come off kinda crazy look at Uranus. Addicted/wayward look at Neptune. Power-mad, look at Pluto. These are the typical 'baddies' for personal relationships going awry in natal and synastry, so look for hard aspects to these planets from personal planets 1st.And Brad Pitt is not that good-looking (Sorry but I had to laugh at that one.) Hi! Do you ever meet girls in other ways? I mean.. personally - I don't really do the dating thing. My past relationships have started out with men who were in my life either through a sport I played... or through school or university or work - or through my group of friends. My pattern is: I get to know the guy well - I'm friends with him - and in time it turns into something more. It sounds like the problem is that you don't get to see the girl again, because something always intervenes. If you were doing something with her weekly (like a sport or a course or whatever else) - then you'd unavoidably see her fairly often and get to know her. IP: Logged |

Big Guy,Stop pushing it and trying this hard. Your love will come into your life when the time is right. Dating is not worth it unless its with a woman who is compatible with you and worth your time. Meanwhile, continue being well groomed and always hold your head up high. Concentrate on bettering yourself, and think of it as you doing it for the sake of your future love. Your confidence and maturity in of themselves will do wonders in attracting potential mates. You're 21 and have a whole life ahead of you. This is an exciting time in your life. Its not worth wrapping yourself in frustration. I had the converse situation. I had a lot of dates. I had a lot of women flock my way, but all of them were either not right for me or disappointed me to the upteenth degree. It only led to a whole youth and young adulthood of heartbreaks and heartaches. How is that better? When I was turning 30, when I least expected, and when I was on the verge of declaring permanent bachelorhood despite sometimes dating up to six different women in a month (which was horribly expensive), my wife showed up. It was an instant attraction and we agreed to get married within a month. That was almost 19 years ago. The lesson here is not to try too hard, just focus on bettering yourself and maximizing what you do in life. IP: Logged |

amelia28 is right. You need to diversify the places that you met your "other". You could be suprised as to whom finds you desirable but is too scared to tell you.

Do you have saturn in the 7th? I have venus and mars in the 9th and when I go out the person I feel drawn to is from another country or state most of the time. I have asteroid desiderate square my venus and mars in the 9th and this square makes sure in my opinion to get in the way of me obtaining what my heart truly desires. I have to travel to see the friend or lover that my heart truly desires. the people I connect with the most are all spread through out the world either bc they like to move around a lot or bc I do. I attract people that move around a lot since childhood, as friends or lovers.
I met hubby in Miami. I am dominican and hubby originally from Michigan. We both got sick of miami and moved to Colorado together LOL. We both stayed in Miami long enough to get involved in a serious relationship and he was from a different country from me. My other really serious relationship was with a cuban. Post your chart, perhaps there are hints and better reasons. Do you have moon in the 12th? Ami is right on with moon in 12th and venus in 12th attracting unavailable people. IP: Logged |

I think being a leo is part of it, not all of it put a piece of it... Leo's need love and admiration, and when we dont get it, the way we want its disappointing.. Do you think like this... These women would have found a way, to see/ be with me, if they really cared.. when they didnt find a way, its because they didnt care enough, or go out of their way to see you? IP: Logged |

So Saturn is in Capricorn (at least that's a plus) in the 7th which is ruled by Taurus? Hmmm. Perhaps consider those interventions as "divine". I mean as cringe-worthy as it is hearing it ('cause I understand your plight, believe me.) honestly it may have been those relationships weren't meant to be. Look at it in a big picture kind of way - you have the confidence to ask for a girl's number, strike up a conversation with a stranger in public, and follow through. A LOT of guys your (well, "our" I'm 22) age don't do that and instead resort to the freakin dance of "Now I'm here, now I'm not - guess how I feel today?" Anyway, 7th ruled by Taurus indicates.... The Taurus influence in the seventh house suggests one who is a loyal but jealous marital partner. You are conservative and discriminating in choosing a mate. Once you've picked someone, the marriage usually sticks, although it may be stormy sometimes. There is a much stubbornness in both you and your partner. You seek a marriage partner expressing the qualities of Taurus; easygoing to a point, but stable, steady and sometimes stubborn. Marriage is for love, but a few material luxuries help make the union a success. Often, marriage and other partnerships bring material benefits. http://www.astrology-numerology.com/housecusp-7th.html (love that site) Combining that interp with Saturn in there, one of your lessons is to take your time in love and to NOT rush it (hard for your Leo-side, I'm sure). Be picky, work on yourself (no, really... Saturn in Cap...) as others here have told me about my Saturn in the 7th, you work it to your benefit by accepting challenges life throws you while you're alone so that you may be strong enough to take on those of your partner when the time comes. I also would bet you'll meet a significant partner through work. Also just popped in my head that subconsciously you're after the conquest and not actually growing a relationship (I thought of Scorpio ASC + Leo sun and got that. Reminds me of Ryan Gosling's character in Crazy, Stupid, Love.... now on PPV. ) I have Saturn in Cap in the 7th as well but my house is ruled by Sag. IP: Logged |

That could be it but still...How is it that every single time it comes to nothing before it has ever been anything? How is it that I fail everytime? Most people at my age have had falures as well as triumphs, but in my case, its not even that i fail while trying, its that there's always something that happens that makes me fail even before I try...I figured..."Planets cant be against me ALL the time..." No, they can't be - you're right. Sometimes it's just the way the cookie crumbles. Something tells me those with Saturn in Capricorn often only marry once, but that's just me. IP: Logged |

Doesn't mean anything maybe but there is a tendency of venus in sag or venus in the 9th to end up marrying someone from another country. A tendency ofcourse and if there is hard aspects to desiderate it represent challenges and obstacles getting what one desires.

Really? Because coincidentially, the last girl I tried to date was a lunar capricorn. (She's the one I asked for help in my other recent thread about the "Venus Square Uranus aspect"). But gues what?...Everything was going amazing, till I realize she is already falling for another guy. See...there's ALWAYS something... IP: Logged |

Hello,It would be awesome if you find out if desiderate is squared your venus. If you go to extended chart selection in astro.com add the following number to the box that says additional asteroids: (344) Desiderata. I can post up chart for you if you give me your info. IP: Logged |

I have exactly the same problem what the topic starter says. My venus is in 9th house(placidus) and in sagittarus. It squares moon, conjuncts sun, opposites mars and trines jupiter... Widely squares desiderata(5 degree, desiderata opposites my moon, sextiles pluto, trines neptune, conjunct pallas in seventh house..) Does it explain my love life problem? This venus trine jupiter is so useless aspect in my chart that it is a joke rather than gift... It is like i dont have it =). IP: Logged |

Desiderate aspect with 5 degrees is pretty wide for an asteroid. My desiderate squares my venus and mars under 2 degrees and conjunct's my ex sun in scorpio. I think its possible that people with venus in sag or venus in 9th have more luck in love when they pursue someone that is from another country. I also think that having a lot of personal planets or luminaries in the 9th gives someone luck when they live in a foreign country. Jupiter rules luck and expands what it touches. Husband and I have composite Jupiter in the 9th and we have very good luck when we travel abroad. Last time we each got a ticket voucher each for $500. This will make it possible for us to travel to DR on December. IP: Logged |

Your desiderate and vertex conjunct your venus, I would think this should help you find love!!! Not create obstacles. I also notice that your northnode opposites your venus and perhaps (I am not sure) this makes timing between you and desired object to get involve to be off for one reason or another. I am not sure about this though. I will see if I find any confirmation of this online and let you know. Its probably just that you are young and your luck could change any minute now. IP: Logged |
