I do it for fun but also because it calms my mind and makes me think I'm busy when I'm doing nothing.IP: Logged |

but I don't go around stealing, living off of people using them... to support hardcore living/partying habits. the first and last time I went out with her traumatized me. she is sick mentally, her drug dependence makes me sad cause shes a very beautiful/smart girl I don't understand the masking and escapism. that's why I was curious too... I have alllll these planets INCLUDING sun in house 12. she has 0 planets in house 12. any ideas? we both have nep opp mars. I don't use drugs to escape and surely do not abuse them. I want to help her so bad, but she won't accept it she prefers to be around enablers and people that encourage her fast motion to her death bed, really.

Okay I could probably be quite a crack head if I really tried the stuff. That's why I stay away from all addictive substances. Including gambling (which isn't a substance obv)I have sun trine neptune (1 degree)
sun sextile pluto (1 degree---so could be prone to get obsessed with things lol if I wanted to
neptune aspecting mercury, moon, jupiter and MC (hard aspects)
BACCUS (asteriod for indulgence) is conjunct both my venus and moon by 1 degree.

Lindis, if I had to say why yuo chose to be stronger than that and abstain I would say that strong aqua saturn in the first square pluto, that makes a very serious and a strong person, a source to be reckoned with. Your sun and moon are not afflicted like many drug addicts, they are quite easily aspected. Also all that aqua makes you too rational to try to escape in such irrational, destructive way.IP: Logged |

i'm an Aquarius sun and mercury, with pisces venus and ascendent and that's the extent of my water influence. My mars and saturn (and uranus) conjunct in sagittarius in 10th. pluto in scorpio....i think you're off there, i have the same placements and a completely different way of looking at it.i've had a really difficult time with alcohol, and i've done numerous drugs and will continue to do so.
Drugs have never been the issue for me, alcohol has always been the more dangerous of the two. Drugs aren't necessarily the problem, it's the psychological way you interact with them that's the problem. Trust me, i've been on both sides. For example: I have a good friend who used to smoke a lot of weed, now the weed wasn't the problem, it was the way she used it to put a fog over anything she didn't want to deal with that was. Everybody has their own issues and everybody deals with things in their own way. It's probably a lot harder for her than you realize, i had a hard time because nobody would talk about it with me apart from "you should stop that, etc.". Coming at it from that perspective doesn't really make the other person feel like it's open discussion, which hurts and can put a huge strain on that relationship. That said, i don't really know her and i don't know you, i'm just speaking from my own experience. I think i agree with the mars-neptune theory because i am curious about EVERYTHING, which i connect to being a sag trait (and maybe an aquarius thing) i just have to try everything i can. That said, knowing this, I will never go near or try heroin, meth, oxy, and speed and prescription pills don't interest me at all. IP: Logged |

The reason why you didn't get addicted to marijuana is bc it doesn't cause PHYSICAL dependence. Coke, cigarettes and crystal meth on the other hand do cause physical dependence. Yes Pisces tends to like pot.....when you smoke pot you start thinking out there, about other realities and such...your mind goes on metaphysical and philosophy mode and Pisces already thinks out there so smoking pot feels at home, it is compatible with how their mind already operates. A lot of artists smoke pot bc it helps them with their mood swings and reduce anxiety allowing them to think more clearly and function better. Many pisces people are artists or people with neptune influence in them tend to be artistically inclined. You have a lot of Pisces in you and a lot 12th house placements but you are not very Neptune at all. You are puzzle. I almost wonder if you have the right time of birth or birth date sometimes. Even if I alter the time, i'd still have lots of planets in 12th house. Marijuana is addicting, not for everyone but I know people who are addicted to it. I dont have an addictive personality, which is weird. I dont stay attached to things for too long, i get way too bored. IP: Logged |

I love learning! I try to learn as much as I can everyday and I study psychology because I have a genuine interest in human behaviour. But I don't like to disrespect the differences in all of us. I embrace them. Wer'e all unique and we all have our little imperfections. Sometimes I do find you a tad negative and degrading towards others and their faults. We all have them. And they're part of life. Try to understand and learn, but even when you say "I'm just curious, I want to understand" (which you say often) your'e critical, disapproving tone still shines through loud and clear. IP: Logged |
