It is in Aqua and in the first house, but that is not my question as much as how that conjunction works and looks. Could I view it as a Gemini Venus because Mercury rules Gemini?

For me, it means my mind automatically factors in to any type Venus stuff like love, beauty, etc. I associate my intelligence with my attraction factor.

I have it Mercury Gemini, Venus Gemini
Chart Ruler is Venus, so I'm very Mercury like.

I just cannot separate my need for mental stimulation and what I look for when it comes to love. They are one in the same.

I have it in eighth house in cancer. Also I have taurus on the DSC. For me, I can look at relationships from all angles, spend hours reading about relationship advice (I actually enjoy doing that), I need to have a mental connection for me to even consider having a relationship.

I think my conjunction is heavily flavoured by it's position. There are elements related to family, power, regeneration/healing, sex, etc.

I have mercury conj. venus in gemini in the 8th house. It makes me very attuned to the details of anything beautiful, and it makes me go to a lot of depth when I am talking about much anything. It also makes me have a laser eye for seeing past facades and reading people in general. I don't miss a trip.

I also talk a lot. A ton actually, but it's never vapid air.

I have a friend who has this conjunction in her unafflicted Aqua stellium.

Social grace, pleasant, easy to talk to, polite, well-mannered, refined, very sociable.

How can you say anything good or bad about Mercury/Venus when they are never more than a sextile apart? Now, what if you considered them as house rulers?

Hi! I have Venus conjunct Mercury.. both are in the 5th house (using equal house system..that system is definately me!)I'm a person who likes to go striaght to the point... no wishy washy answers... get to it! lol!
But I find the best way for me to communicate and feel so amazing is through music.. Its the first thing I listen to and the last thing too.. music rules me! Its the best way for me to explain how I feel... through musical notes! Other wise I talk to fast and sometimes I dont make sense because I dont think about what I say...i just say it! I think thats quite accurate for where my placements are!

Ok Could I say this? Would it be LIKE having a Gem Venus which I have. I am attracted to a man's mind, first and foremost. His body matters little to me. His looks matter little, too. It is his words. Without his words, I have no interest at all. When I hear woman talking about a great body on a man, it is foreign to me. I don't care. I am so attuned to his mind from the Gem Venus, I assume. Is THAT how this conjunction feels? Please say yes and put me out of my misery

I see people say this type of thing alot, and I can't relate to that at all. I don't even understand it. How can anyone be in a serious relationship that involves physical intimacy and everything with someone that, when you look at them, you don't get excited by what you see, or anticipate the idea of them touching you or something because you like what you see of them physically? That's a concept that I'm just incapable of grasping.

By no means is looks the most important thing to me, but I need more than just mental compatibility and attraction. I need that mental, emotional and physical rapport or I can't do it.

I agree... I need Physical attraction as well, but it is not the only thing.

Venus conj Mercury:
My partner has this at a less than 1* orb, also conj his sun in the 2nd house Sagittarius.

He is EXTREMELY musical, dances well, has a BEAUTIFUL and extremely unique voice.

He needs constant mental stimulation (but his moon is also Gemini and the majority of his personal planets are in Sag as well).

He does seem to be obsessed with having a 'connection' with people, both friends and parnter. He has dated women of all types and I would say that some of the women he has dated are not that attractive at all... so I am guessing that physical appearance is not as important to him as other things.

His Chart can be found on the link below if needed... just look for the Merc conj Venus in Sag H2.
