^ If you google Moogy Rod, one of her SN on Yahoo! Answers, you'll find her/his other posts. If you want, I can post all the screenshots that I have and send you a link. I opted out of posting the images because they are large and figured everyone else could find them if they chose to dig closer.IP: Logged |

quote: and has a Cancer boyfriend. In another website, she said that she was 17 a year ago, which would make her 18 going on 19 now... and in a post 5 days ago or so that she had a Capricorn boyfriend
And as I have said previously... her boyfriend has BOTH CANCER AND CAPRICORN IN HIS PERSONAL PLANETS!!! Please don't stalk people and then make stuff up to suit whatever pre-conceived notion you have of them. W.T.F. My guy has Scorpio Mars.... if I want to call him a SCORPIO... or call him SCORPIONIC - and I want to ask questions about SCORPIO behaviour - then I will do just that! How is this your business? Her bf has Capricorn Mars - that's why she asked about Capricorn. IP: Logged |

I have my opinion, and you have yours. What I consider good detective work, you consider stalking.I'm sorry, but just because her boyfriend just so happens to have these traits does not make an excuse for her. My boyfriend has Leo sun, but I don't go around saying that I have a Leo boyfriend. It was barely a week ago that Lindis posted that on there. She knows astrology by now. Why not say, my Cancer Sun/Capricorn Mars boyfriend does etc etc? It's all very dubious. If she wants to defend herself, which if she is who she presents herself to be, she would have by now. She seems perfectly capable of defending herself. These are just four of many weird posts of hers from one of her like 9 names on Yahoo! Answers. I'm sorry, but no matter how you explain it, it's all very trollish to me. Her behavior on here and on there. I care because she has not only attacked me but attacked many others on here as well. It's not a personal vendetta, which I'm sure you're rebuttal will be about. It is personal, but it's also about stopping people with bad intentions from bullying people for whatever reason they have to be a bully. It has to stop. If I see someone bullying someone in real life, I sure as hell make it my business. http://imgur.com/a/Wblv4 Remember the movie Catfish? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catfish_(film) IP: Logged |

sigh ElizabethO - I actually have to go now... But honestly I can't see what she could've possibly posted for you to have such an adverse reaction to her and think she is a troll and etc..The things you have mentioned - like her lying about her age or pretending to be a guy - are not a big deal. In HS I pretended I had a bf to make someone else jealous. So many girls do this! Maybe this is what she is doing with the account where she pretended she was male. How would you know? Why would you assume all these things about her? If you want to post the links - that's fine... and I will have a look - when I get bk, but I honestly don't think I'll see anything that changes my mind. :edit: quote: If I see someone bullying someone in real life, I sure as hell make it my business.
Putting glue in someone's hair is a very nasty thing to do and it is indeed bullying! Expressing yourself in a blunt style on an online forum or in RL - is not bullying - & there is such thing as freedom of speech/communication. For example - on Idol - Simon was often cutting in his remarks - but a majority of people would not consider his style - bullying - but rather 'blunt' and to the point. Many comedians are also blunt. It is not a crime to be blunt. Also - A person could have multiple nicknames... They could pretend to be male, female, transexual and what not - they could pretend to have multiple ages..... on multiple websites and accounts. They could even be diagnosed with schizophrenia... or other mental disorders -- AND --- at the same time... NOT engage in any bullying behaviour at *all*
If you want to make the point that she is a bully - then please quote posts where you believe she personally attacked you and others. Like amowls - I have not seen her do this. By telling us about her alleged multiple personalities -you are only proving that she might be schizophrenic... but you are not proving that she is a "bully". I didn't know people were banned from online websites - because of whatever nicknames and gender they chose on *different* websites (as though this is anyone's damn business). ---------------
I read the MoogyRod stuff.. NO - actually - the male posts - do not sound like her. So most likely it was a male friend's account and maybe she used it when she asked that first question about her bf. IP: Logged |

Oh no no no, I didn't mean this place should be a certain way (if I don't like it I'd just go elsewhere, not expect a change); just wondering about why you would be here if there's all the feminine stuff. Anyway, I see from your post count that you barely participate anyway. I get what you're saying about some of the extreme and undesireable dynamics that arise within an environment heavily skewed towards one gender, cuz I've worked in offices that were primarily female. I'm a Capricorn Sun with Moon in Aquarius, btw. How about yourself? Kind of hard to tell from your username.

Well, in the past I whould be more involved a lot has changed in the world, myself and on lindaland. I reduced getting involved seeing the change happing. I generaly view posts and decide to reply or not. There never were problems like this before. With that aside lindaland is still among the beter Astrology site(s) you can get information from. Generaly users are supportive of each other and thats were lindaland whould get a good rating. Try asking astrology questions on other webpages and you'll see the diffrence. Thats why I stay. Any way my sister is a Capircorn sun with Gemini rising and mercury, venus aquarious. I have the opposite sun/rising Gemini Sun, Capp. accendant. IP: Logged |

ElizabethO, don't waste your time. There's no reason why you should go digging around the message boards for posts where she is mean. That's a lot of work. It's fine if someone doesn't believe us. lol. We know it happened. IP: Logged |

LOL, not hard work at all. Just go back the previous few pages and read how she reacts to people who don't agree with her. There's a fine line between defending one's opinions and instigating arguments the sake of starting drama for fun. Betty Boop, I find it interesting that you referenced my other topic in PS, yet you didn't have anything to say to me in that actual thread... Methinks you didn't really have any sympathy since we're arguing over this. Personally, I think when she called me a lizard or an uppity princess and Randall warned her was good enough example. Or the dozen of times she's been rude and insulting towards lalalinda when she would try to set her straight. I won't even copy and paste all those comments. I think we have very different definitions of what a troll is. As Malena said in another topic: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/211367-3.html quote: Youthful? Fine. Blunt communication style? Fine. But I think it's quite selfish for lindisfarne to constantly start threads asking the community for opinions/feedback and then act rude and dismissive toward people who have taken time to respond if she doesn't like what she hears. These are not discussions started in good faith. I think it also sucks the air out of the forum to have three or four "lindisfarne has a personal issue with someone in her life and decides to bash one of their astrological placements" threads going at once, usually with some trollish title for maximum attention. Just my 2 cents, but I'm glad the moderators are paying attention to this.
And more quotes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(Internet) quote: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4]
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=troll quote: One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue.
http://curezone.com/forums/troll.asp quote: A classic CureZone troll is trying to make us believe that he is a genuine skeptic with no hidden agenda. He is divisive and argumentative with need-to-be-right attitude, "searching for the truth", flaming discussion, and sometimes insulting people or provoking people to insult him. Troll is usually an expert in reusing the same words of its opponents and in turning it against them.
I'm over discussing this. If you can't see how rude and demeaning towards others she is, then whatever. If you think her behavior is acceptable, then fine. Personally, I don't think it's okay to lie about one's age on LL, especially if you're talking about astrology. Also, I consider a troll to be someone who flames boards with controversial topics for the pure reason of starting fights and instigating drama. Once again, there's a fine line between being a strong, opinionated personality and a straight-up nuisance. A majority understand where I'm coming from, and eventually her manipulative, attention-seeking, abrasive attitude will be done with. She's probably getting off on the fact that we're even discussing her in the first place. I'd rather not argue about this anymore because I like you Betty Boop, even if you don't agree with me, and I refuse to feed that troll any longer. IP: Logged | |
