To me, one of the funniest comedians ever was Chris Farley. His chart showed a lot of Aquarius and Aries placements, along with a Pisces Moon. I think what I really appreciate about him is that he really was purely silly, his comedy just didn't have a remotely mean streak but was still hella funny.IP: Logged |

I like kathy griffin and that bethenney frankel they make me laugh and they are scorpio's and oddly enough they both have the same birthday diff year o.O Nov 4. I like Ricky Gervais too kinda. I guess i liek mean crude humour hahah. Sex jokes are fun Conan O'brien makes me laugh too he's an aries though. Although im a cap, i don't find jim carrey funny. Oooh i guess dumb and dumber was good haha. Sometimes i like dumb easy humor, will ferrell (cancer). I think i like scorpio humor best from personal experiences as well as cinematic ones I have a joke if anyone sees it: Siamese twins go to the hospital and one says to the doctor "doctor, my brother is gay!" and the doc says "well whats the problem?" "We only have one ass." IP: Logged |

I think charts with prominent Uranus, Mercury and Jupiter aspects tend to be the most funny…. especially with all three aspecting strongly in the same natal…. Uranus confers a crazy, zany type of humor, and Mercury gives a playful, irreverent type of humor…. And since both of these planets rule Air signs, the delivery tends to be witty and sharp….Jupiter on the other hand rules an enthusiastic, slapstick kind of humor…. Which often involves exaggerating things to the point of being ridiculous, and clumsiness (intentional or not)….as well as a refreshingly direct quality…. Like being able to say outrageous things but then get away with it because of a likable nature…. The signs gives different styles of funny…. Capricorn, Scorpio, and Virgo can give a kind of dry, sarcastic, dark humor…. Capricorn and Scorpio are especially deadpan and fatalistic, while Virgo keeps track of everything and can put all the facts back together again in a way that’s funny… Aquarius and Gemini, once again, give witty sharp delivery… and their jokes often involve things like random trivia, play on words, and weird scientific facts… Libra is usually more charming than funny….but if a Libra has other stuff in their natal that inclines them to be funny… their natural ability to compare and contrast, as well as to smooth people over, would assist with the funniness… And they may joke about things being lopsided, or stupidly unfair scenarios... All the fire signs are pretty funny… and tend to joke in very energetic, expressive ways…. Sag I’ve already mentioned, and I’d say that Sag is the funniest in general…. But Aries and Leo have their moments too… Like Sag, Aries peeps have a tendency to say outrageously direct things with completely innocent looks on their faces, and they often have this frenzied energy about them that can come across as funny…. Plus Leo definitely has a playful, teasing streak, like a gleeful kid... And Leo males, especially, have a way of turning their own arrogance into a joke…. Then there is Taurus and Cancer…. Not the funniest signs in the zodiac…. But mixed in with other chart factors of course they can be funny….Cancer has this childlike, ‘scared of the world’ quality to them that can come across as funny… and they may turn scenarios about being frightened, or nervous into a joke…. And Taurus tends to be very literal minded, and can ignore subtleties of meaning….often they know this, and they may make very flat, blanket statements about things on purpose just to be funny/sarcastic…. Maybe not everybody is into Jim Carrey, but certainly he is regarded as funny by many… He has a Mercury/Jupiter conjunction in Aquarius (exaggerating mannerisms), Sun in Capricorn, and Moon in Gemini…

I think in another thread it was Cap. I've also seen plenty of articles on the internet about Caps and humor. Jim Carey, for instance, who's brand of comedy isn't even dry humor but absurdist physicality and the opposite of boring, has a lot of Cap in his chart.Venus isn't a loser, and she's right. Maybe you should recalibrate your mind because its pretty narrow. IP: Logged |

Neptune in 1st is great at mimicary, and mercury neptune aspects would be great at spinning yarn, like storytelling..You could also do some research on astrotheme as they have masses of famous people on there, you may find a common denominator..... ------------------ I love the parable, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, BUT if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for life.” IP: Logged |

As a Cap, I think it is hysterically funny that there is an argument on this thread about whether or not Caps are funny.IP: Logged |

I'm a bit of an amateur (typing too fast) and even I know that you can't just assume someone is or isn't funny (or smart, or whatever) based on their sun sign alone. I would think that ppl with 'superior intelligence' would also realise this.IP: Logged |

Saying a certain sign is or isn't funny as a fact isn't right cos it's all an opinion. No need to get worked up. It's ridiculous. Who does that? It's not a good idea to take life so seriously gosh.IP: Logged |

Um, if you could read at all. Nobody was saying that. She said Capricorn was the dominant (typing too fast) sign. Funny. And thats not how you spell amateur. IP: Logged |
