comedy is definitely subjective. i also think (at least in my case) comedy is effective when it manages to excite or tickle the boundaries of one's perception; laughter is an involuntary reaction that denotes a moment of ineffable realization, usually. for me, my fave comedians tend to have prominant aquarius that conjunct my stellium. christopher walken's moon cjs my sun exactly, for instance. conan's does too but i don't like him quite as much as walken. bill hicks' sag stellium is exactly on my AC and i adore him. louis ck's sun is exactly on my NN. another genius comedian. i like subversive comedy. It's slang hun. I'm not the one confused with my apostrophes. Are you a water sign? Probably a cancer or sth? You act like one. IP: Logged |

Because you can't POSSIBLY know, yet you state with such certainty that the world is not only going to end, but that the oceans will literally boil. What's your chart like again? We could study it for comedic ability. IP: Logged |

BACK TO THE SUBJECT AT HAND:Tina Fey (who acts and writes) is a Taurus with Mercury conjunct SATURN (LIKE, NO WAY) by 1 degree. Julia Louise Dreyfus (Elaine on Seinfeld) has a Cap Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn. Howard Stern is a Cap Sun, Mercury and Venus. I took a wild guess and looked up Monty Python & the Holy Grail (which I always think of as Cap humor... maybe because its British idk) for the creators and Graham Chapman is a Cap Sun, ASC and Mercury. I think according to this info i should pursue a career in comedy The caps i know weren't very funny only one guy i thought was pretty funny he was born like 15 days before me I wonder why there are famous cap comedians but in life i haven't come across any funny ones personally Also something i noticed long time ago! Tina fey, seth meyers, and amy poehler are all earth signs and they made good funny stuff together on snl! Taurus, capricorn and virgo.

Stray thought: What if Cappie / Saturn energy is so prominent among famous comedians because it lends stick-to-itiveness to the bearer in a notoriously difficult field? ------------------ If I've included this sig, it's because I'm posting from a mobile device. Please excuse all outrageous typos and confusing auto-corrects. IP: Logged |

There is a psychological term but I can't remember it ~ it basically covers how we only ever find information to back up our preconceived ideas.Russell Howard ~ no cap or strong saturn, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Howard Seth Macfarlane ~ triple scorpio Joan Rivers ~ Gemini with sag moon, aries rising Bob Hope ~ Gemini, cancer moon, libra rising Groucho Marx ~ Libra, gemini moon with scorp rising Steve Martin ~ Leo sun/rising with scorp moon Roseanne Barr ~ Scorpio, gemini moon and aqua rising. good thought! i'm sure it lends some assistance. though, i do think cappies are so funny cuz they can see the darkness in life and have learned to grin and bear it to get ahead and such, being saturn ruled. they are not prone to romanticizing either so they cut through the crap and call things like they see them which can result in a lot of humour. my daughter is a cappy and she is only 6 but she cracks me up to no end. she has already mastered the fine art of dry wit and sarcasm. The pythagorean triangle shows up a lot in the charts of comedians regardless of signs and planets. http://aliceportman.com/yods-and-quincunx/ IP: Logged |

The Caps I know are pretty funny in a VERY goofy way. One of my friends is a Cap Sun/Mercury and she's very good at accents, especially Scottish and Russian. Another Cap Sun/ASC is very over-the-top with his physicality (like Jim Carey), he's the best story teller I know just because of his mannerisms. IP: Logged |
