Angel Asteroid–Dedicated to One of My Angels–S.P.
By amiann | Published: February 15, 2012 |

There is precious little written on the Angel Asteroid. With apologies before I start, I will take a stab. Asteroids which are topical such as Wisdom and Angel, can be looked at by exploring what we know about the topic and applying it to the chart. In the Bible, angels were Divine messengers. Angels were created beings, made to do God’s bidding. In modern times, there are accounts of angels in the lives of man. I will share one, at the end of this piece. Lucifer was a fallen angel. His story is pride. Lucifer wanted to do it his way, not God’s. Lucifer, in the chart is inordinate pride, particularly when it involves man wanting to do things his way, as opposed to God’s. Back to the Angel Asteroid. This asteroid is in everyone’s chart, as is every asteroid. However, if it conjuncts a crucial part of the chart, it comes to the fore. Then, one’s life is inextricably bound with the Angel Asteroid. If Angel is conjunct any of the Angles(ASC,DSC, IC or MC), it would play an important role for the person, in that sphere of life. If Angel conjuncts a planet, the planet and the asteroid would combine to show us how the asteroid would function.

If Angel was conjunct the Sun, the person may be angelic in his countenance. He may do good deeds for others and be a modern day angel. The moon is more interior, rather than involved with direct action. If Angel conjuncts the Moon, the person would be imbued with angelic qualities. He would radiate these, in his close relationships. He may have a calming presence on others. Chances are he would be a spiritual person, who could separate the inanities of the superficial world from what is real. If Angel conjuncts Venus, this person may radiate angelic qualities as part of how he loves. His form of giving love would have a sense of goodness and light. If Angel conjuncts Mars, the person may feel compelled to do good deeds for others, in a more direct way.

I would like to add the true story from S.P, whose adorable baby picture is above. He has Angel conjunct Venus.

I was new to the city and very young. one of the first nights there i decided to go out and have a few drinks. i was very young and inexperienced with alcohol and ended up getting completely wasted…so wasted that i could barely walk…(i am a light weight) and since i was new to the city i also had no idea where i was in relation to where i lived…i was clear across town. so i was stumbling down NYC streets going through god knows how many bad neighborhoods…walking in circles…tears in my eyes and falling every couple of feet…when suddenly what appeared to be a homeless woman reached out her hand and helped me up off the sidewalk. i don’t remember a lot about her except that she was very kind. i don’t ever drink this much usually…so a lot of the night was a blackout. but i do know that she took my hand and guided me home. she must have walked over 20 city blocks with me! i remember bits and pieces of the experience. i remember she had a calming effect on me and that i had no fear of her. i also remember that when we finally got to the stairs in front of my apartment building that i turned back to thank her and offer her some money or something for her help and she had just vanished. she just disappeared and i was left wondering if any of it had really happened. i am pretty sure she was a guardian angel in disguise.

Moon in the 12th House
By amiann | Published: December 14, 2011 |

The moon is our most personal planet, our deepest heart. It’s placement in the 12th house is the most difficult house placement. The moon is a shy planet . It is a passive planet. It will wait for others to come to it, rather than come to others. The 12th house exacerbates this trait. It makes the shy, fragile moon, even more so. The moon is our deepest heart. It is hard for anyone to show others their sensitive underbelly, but for the moon in the 12th, it is exacerbated, many fold. This Moon wants to be accepted and loved, as we all do. It wants to show you who it is. However,it holds back, for fear of rejection. This moon may marry an abusive person.Perhaps, this is because it does not feel it deserves the simple decencies and respect that other people take for granted. If you see a person with the moon in the 12th, be a little more tender and kind. They are carrying a burden that few could comprehend.

This person resented me so much for being in such an unseen part of themselves and getting/understanding them, even when they didn't or people they'd 'known' so well couldn't (was told something along those lines). I might post that composite one day--difficult soulmate relationship. But spiritually, it 'completely' brought forth my psychic and empathic abilities tied to my 12th house and my POF. When the lesson was learned the relationship ended, for me. All the things I'd uncovered in myself (and them), they now find themselves reflecting and going through a similar process of coming undone...which I imagine is difficult, because now they have to 'fill in the blanks' independently.

Oh yikes! Sounds rough. So, it was a deeply spiritual connection? Did the person feel like the relationship would be spoiled if others knew? What was it that you could feel about them that made them so unnerved?

What is it about many actors having 12th house Suns? What's the reason/rationale behind that? Or, what exactly is it about Sun in the 12th? Does Sun in the 12th manifest differently, or some more profound way, than it would, in say, the 4th house? Or any other house?

fascinating about actors and 12th house Suns. Many great actors have unaspected Suns. I did not know about 12th house.

Maybe, they cannot go forward as themselves, due to the fears of putting forth their identity. Hence, acting allows a way.
What do you think?

Yeah, I heard about the actor thing from reading various threads here on Lindaland.

Gosh, it would make sense that it would be easier, or more comfortable, for someone to hide themselves in the 12th house. There would be a kind of natural masking there. Well, in my case, I'm an Aries Sun, but get mistaken as a Pisces. I'm always told I'm too shy and quiet to be an Aries. So yeah, I guess the 12th house would cover the Sun/Self in some way?

Something else that I'm curious about, which maybe Sun in the 12th would explain. For some strange reason, I am *constantly* being mistaken for other people. Every few months, someone will come up to me and ask me if I'm "so-and-so". Or, they'll tell me, "you look so familiar." Another one is, "you look exactly like--[fill in name of choice]". I don't know what that's about, but I've had some pretty strange encounters with people thinking I'm someone else. Very weird.

In my mind this is how I believe Angel functions in my chart.
There were many mistakes I made in the past that could of turned out really bad, but instead things always seem to be okay..like I was given a second chance. Sometimes my problems just seem to fade away like they never even happened. This has made me so greatful and humble that whenever I have a close firend, relative, or even a stranger (which rarely happens) comes to me w/ there problems whatever way I can help, I would. That is, unless it puts me on death row or something lol. Most of the time people just want someone they can talk to, and I'm all ears.

I could be wrong, the asteroid Angel may be influencing me in a different way, but I definitely feel like there is someone/something guiding me. It also conjuncts my Mars and Pluto.

I would have to say it was a spiritual connection. Lots of Pluto involved and it was certainly fated. I just don't think they knew how to handle it and seemed threatened by anyone expressing 'any' kind of interest in me. I was very comfortable with the energy and the intensity and it was too much for them (this was a Scorpio, mind you). They served as a mirror for me to see and value my own light, albeit in a very destructive way.

Looking at my natal chart again, I have only ceres and POF in 12th house. This might be why I have so many intense [spiritual] encounters with people who have natal 12th house placements, and when any of their placements fall in my 12th, I feel very protective of them. I always know, however, they aren't here to stay forever. So I am particularly careful and supportive in these relationships. And, I've only 'recently' really delved into astrology. So, I'm looking at them all in hindsight and seeing the similarities of energy...etc.

Part of Fortune 12th House:

The Part of Fortune in the Twelfth House brings many spiritually earned blessings and good fortune, often from not just in this lifetime, but from your many past lives. Prodigies can have this placement, as well as those connected to the healing professions. Your psychic powers are great, powerful and beyond earthly explanation. You have many invisible guides who will make themselves known to you as you grow in spiritual truths. You will experience vivid dreams, perhaps of future events. Your intuition will be accurate guide as long as you keep yourself morally committed to fine values and spiritually high standards of living.
http://www.arlenekramer.net/astrology5.asp

PART OF FORTUNE IN THE TWELFTH HOUSE:

The person with his Part of Fortune in the twelfth house has a unique opportunity to transform or dissolve his own Karma. This is a person who has mediumistic talents and the gift of prophecy. His dreams often give him answers. His flair for spirituality, mysticism, illusion, and fantasy can be productive in film, television, and works of fiction. Though he may not know it when it happens, his enemies will frequently change their attitude from hostility to neutrality, and sometimes even to benevolence. He is generally unaware of his good fortune. The person with his Part of Fortune in the twelfth house is treated well by health-care professionals.
