Venus and mars would play important roles here. Venus with who you love and mars with who you find sexy.

I have lot's of gay boy friends, so I looked at their chart. They mostly have venus in libra, wich brings very feminine enery.

One of them have mars in aquarius, altough I would relate aqua more to bissexuality than homo.

I'm hetero and I have the traditional mars in taurus, although some times I feel a big love to my female friends (and males too) that could be almost sexual (but not marsian sexual, it's not aggressive, has more to do with adimiration), well, venus in aqua.

Probably some Uranus, Aquarius, Gemini influence. Could be a lot of things.

I think I've read somewhere that strong 8th house placements can indicate homosexuality.
I can't remember why though.

Elton's Gaily conjunct Sappho 1deg, and quintiles his Saturn exact.
His Sappho semi-squares Jupiter 1deg, and sextiles Pluto 2degs.

George's Gaily conjuncts Venus 1deg and Mercury 2degs, sextiles Jupiter exact, and square Chiron
His Sappho sextiles Pluto 2degs.

Interesting pattern between Sappho-Pluto, funny thing is I also have Sappho sextile Pluto 2degs, opposites my Ascendant but I'm a Straight Female. Gaily squares my Saturn 1deg.

I've heard venus square mars can be an 'unfaithful' aspect as it focuses too much on sex. But I've not heard it linked to gay or bi sexuality..

there are NO hard and fast rules covering this. BUT my guess would be ruler of 8th house of sex is cancer/moon and moon is square to uranus in 12th, strained relationship with mother, women and poss early break. Uranus is cadent, hidden

I have found a plethora of men with Sagittarius Asc. to be gay, or to at least bisexual. I attribute this to Moon (Cancer) ruling the 8th house of sex and sexual needs. This would be the more receptive partner in the relation.. the 'female', so to speak. It makes you want to be taken care of and dominated sexually. This of course is a generalization and won't be the case with all Sag Asc. males, just my experience.
