Ami just said that ASC shows car brand preference. I've heard this one once else where as well. I've been struggling to find my ASC despite having an official birth time. It's either Pisces or Aries. So which type of automobile and/or brand preference would each display? I will get into what I like/own later. Sorry for the male centric topic. Honestly, I've gotten a bit impatient with the broken relationship sob stories, which is 95% the fault of crappy guys (my opinion). Thank you. IP: Logged |

Well Aries would definitely go for the turbo sporty shiny style! I don't know about Pisces! Do Pisces drive?? <joking> I'm an Aqua rising and I love the Japanese style cars (Honda, Toyota). I can recognize a Honda with my eyes closed. IP: Logged |

Does Scorpio rising mean not really having a preference? I'm not a car aficionado, and when my Pisces (Sag rising) friend starts talking to me about cars I usually look at him blankly. Honestly, if I had a preference, it would be a car that is going to last me forever because it is reliable, but I think that goes along more with my sun sign of Virgo.- This makes my Pisces friend sad. As for style/looks- eh... I like sporty cars or convertibles, but I figure most people like those types of cars anyway because they are expensive and highly desired. IP: Logged |

Not all people! I don't like them actually. I prefer a more classic style. But I've seen convertibles that are ALSO classic, so melikey those. I'm too picky. I don't just like anything "most people" do. Aqua rising speaking out loud here. lol IP: Logged |

Someone should list like 5-10 pictures of cars & ask people to list their ascendants and the car they would chose if price didn't matter, and why? I'd do this except I don't know much about the ultiMATE sterotype cars..IP: Logged |

maybe we can't say an exact preference for each sign but maybe we can talk about the preference of each elements: fire, water, air and earth. i notice that people with earth emphasis in their charts usually prefer station type, enduring, dark coloured cars, people with fire emphasis like red sport cars maybe. and i am a piscean with cancer rising and i like small, cute and colorful cars such as blue, green and purple.i have aries emphasis in my chart, so i like speed at the same time i'm scared of it(cancer rising wants security) and even if i'm scared of riding, sometimes i imagine myself while riding motorcycle IP: Logged |

maybe people with air emphasis in their charts are very keep up with the technological improvements (aquarius-uranus and technology) and change their cars frequently (gemini likes change)IP: Logged |

actually, as a cancer rising and pisces sun person, the first thing that i will give importance while buying a car is not its technological level; it is if i will feel an emotional bond and ease with the car in the first sight or not. is that car cute and warm for me? is it the car that make me feel happy for owning it when i look out the window and see it on the street, in front of my home?IP: Logged |

hmmmm, I've never heard this theory. cars are usually seen in 3rd house not Asc. Now if you are trying to rectify your chart try using solar arcs... I dislike sports cars, especially the kind where the bottom almost touch the ground ... They are totally vulgar imo. Makes me dizzy just by looking at them.cancer asc.

Never heard any theory on cars, but the 3rd is definitely true for me - Sag on the cusp; the bigger the better. IP: Logged |

sag ascendant. 1970s/80s volvos make me swoon. i think all other cars are ugly except anything that looks similar to volvos, and like, dodge darts (the boxier more compact ones). yes i realize i am the only person in the universe who adores volvos (i have been moderately obsessed with them since i was two).IP: Logged |

ehh i have sag in my 3rd house though not that i'd like a huge huge car. It all depends. But maybe I like speeeed because of it! hahah Libra Asc: If i could! I'd like this orange with purple stripe on the side sports car i saw on tv once! It was cooool! I like all those fast sport cars. If I could i'd like to try racecar driving. I like going fasssst. I like nice looking normal cars too. I like expensive cars not boring expensive ones like a rolls royce hah. I really like leather seats and a sun roof. I dont mind convertibles but i dont like sun all over me and my hair slapping my eyes. A red or yellow, something bright, kinda car would be cool. Either that or black and sleek and handles well. :3 oh! and i like motorcycles! too.IP: Logged |

quote: House One— House One shows how one looks and acts on the outside. However,it is more than a mask, as it is the lens with which one LOOKS out on the world, as well. It is the shape and color of the lens from which one sees life. If one wanted to use the example of cars, there are sleek Ferraris, Humble VWs, Yuppie Volvo’s, understated Saabs, racy, sleek BMWs and refined Mercedes. The ASC is the car one drives. The first house can be said to have this same flavor and can be pictured, thus. Where the car analogy falls short is that the car is stuck to oneself.. One cannot get out and leave it in the driveway *Wink*
Thank you all very much for responding. My wife and I have a car hobby and we do pay attention to our cars. To all who are uninterested in cars, sorry you have to read the cr4p I write. I have been partial to Mercedes all my life. My father and my grandfather also both drove Mercedes. My two sons are also partial to the brand. Its in the genetics. I'm also a partial-Brit, having spent most of my teenage years in the UK and being the son of UK-educated parents. Therefore, I also have a liking for the luxury British brands. I must say that if I could afford, I would drive a Bentley and/or Rolls Royce. I'm not going to bore you with my entire car history, but my wife and I own four "drivers" and four "newish classics" not driven and in storage.
We are obsessed with convertibles, so those are what we mainly own. We are a bunch of psycho maniacs: 40F/4C weather is enough for us to pop the tops lol You would see us driving through New York City topless on New Year's Day. I have also had a lifetime of love for large black S-Class Mercedes sedans (I grew up on those), but I gave up the last one in 2007 when I lost my job and never replaced that car. I think I went through at least seven consecutive black S-Class Mercedes sedans. Those are large spacious gas guzzling cruisers, and they made me look 20 years to 30 years older than I was. My wife's present sports car is a silver 2008 Mercedes SL55 AMG cabriolet, which is a 5.5L Supercharged V8 (500 hp). My sports car is a black 2007 Aston Martin DB9 Volante (cabriolet) 6.0L V12 (470 hp). The SL is the more powerful and aggressive car. I worry about her right foot every day. I seem to be changing her tires every year. We also have a more modest gray 2009 Mercedes CLK350 (270 hp four seat convertible) that we use to go out as a family. I drive a white 2006 Mercedes E350 4-Matic Wagon (270 hp) family/dog/junk hauler on a daily basis. In storage, we have a couple of collectibles: a red 1983 911SC Cabriolet, a silver 1963 230SL (my birth year), a baby blue 1968 280SL (her birth year) and a white 1987 Rolls Royce Corniche II Convertible (needs a bit of TLC on the interior but the car is pretty, and it actually drives quite well). We've been saving up to replace the SL55 AMG with a "moderately oldish" Ferrari F430 Spider 510 hp (maybe 2008/2007, because that's all I can buy!) for my Leo wife. She has been asking for a Ferrari for almost 12 years!! She asked for Ducati motorbikes and I said absolutely not!! How about a Vespa scooter? That sort of low slung nervous sports car isn't really my style. I prefer the more relaxed GT cruisers, or if I really have a compelling need for a true sports car to kill myself, I would prefer a Porsche 911 GT2 Turbo (0 to 60 mph/100 km/h in 3.3 seconds). But I have no such insane plans to end my life early. I'm getting a used late model Mercedes C300 4Matic for my 16 year old son. 500 horsepower and convertibles distinctly do not mix with hormonal 16 year olds with girlfriends in the car!!! I'm sure you would all agree with me that I'm a Capricorn Sun Question again is whether I am a Pisces/water or an Aries/fire. My wife is a Leo, and thus the liking for red convertible Ferraris or Lamborghinis (there is absolutely no way I would ever get her a Lamborghini Aventador even if I were some Arab Sheik!!! I swear she would drive 180 mph!!!). She is a Cancer Ascendant though, and thus I think it somewhat moderates her flamboyant style. Hey, Lioness, why are Leos so over-sexed?!!?? IP: Logged |

Hmm!I drive a red Ford Excursion. My husband is a Leo, I have Leo rising, thus the red. Lots of planets in the 5th house, thus the huge car to fit all the children in. Lots of Saturn influence in my chart, previous accidents, so I like having an enormous car....big cars don't get squashed as easily. Plus it's red so you can see it coming! Oh and please don't anyone frown at me about the fuel consumption, I don't fly on airplanes, nor heat my house with oil. And I buy local produce IP: Logged |

It seats four and is a lot less powerful, even though it looks like the SL55. This is a E350 Wagon 4-Matic. This is an Aston Martin DB9 Volante. This is s a Ferrari F430 Spider. IP: Logged |

So, what Faith said about to color red. And what Lioness said about driving fast. It must be true that Leos like fast red cars. LolFaith, gimme a break about gas consumption! If it makes you feel better, I'm the one with the V12 IP: Logged |
