It's kind of funny to read this thread all the way through, because there are at least 3 different conversations going on at the same time in this thread. Anyway... I have Chiron in the 7th, and yeah, relationships are not my forte. I tend to have problems with starting relationships and getting them off the ground more than anything. My Chiron is in Gemini, and I know that a lot of the time it is a communication problem for me. I feel like I am just perpetually stupid when it comes to sending the right signals to guys, and I'm just not hugely direct either. That's partially the influence of my Venus in Virgo (modesty and subtlety) which my Chiron is squaring (and is involved in a T-square with- also Sun (square), Jupiter/Uranus (opposing from the 1st). My Mercury in Virgo in the 10th rules the Chiron, but I'm not sure exactly what that means other than that it might take me time to learn to express myself correctly. IP: Logged |

Chiron in 5H. Cannot establish a relationship where we both agree to be exclusive, it doesn't look like I'll ever have a family of my own, at least not biologically; hobbies and interests have been criticized since childhood to the point where I don't know if I have talent. IP: Logged |

First may be one of the worst. You WEAR it as an emotional or physical scar. I see bullying here. Yes, I would say this is the worst on imho

CHIRON IN THE 8th HOUSE means strange, possibly sadomasochistic attitudes also within the sexual life. You have big healing and regeneration forces and deep occult knowledge. Surely you get in contact with power structures or even hold a position of power by yourself, however, both possibilities could cause difficulties. Then you perhaps seek for revenge and rage against something or someone, retreating later. This position often promises strong self-restraint and fears of death, the own and that of others, as well as symbolic deaths. In this position owner-seizing tendencies can be found eventually, which then usually aim for security. Inheritances play a role. Profits and losses of material or financial kind can develop themselves here in dramatic or even dangerous ways. This position clearly has a karmic touch. Human beings usually are confronted inevitably with the consequences of their acting or omitting here. A conscious becoming of these circumstances can lead to fearfulnesses, sometimes managed by self-restraint. Possibly from the chironic, karmic mischief comes the knowledge that the chironic healing is a result of recognizing that all negative actions are followed by negative consequences. http://solar_a_w_e_f.tripod.com/starsforever/id6.html
Same. My Chiron in 8th house but mine is in taurus. IP: Logged |

I'd say Chiron is very powerful for me. It's at 1 in Taurus in the 2nd, opposing my Moon in Libra at 28 in the 8th. Finances and home are very important to me. Relating to my mother, my family in general. It's a sore spot. Not having financial security and stability becomes a number 1 priority in dire situations. IP: Logged |

Yes, I have scars from past abuse...ahahahaha. As far as emotional scars go, it's...probable. I dunno, I'm not too sure if I fo' sho' have scars of the emotional variety. Bullying, yes, both being bullied and being the bully. IP: Logged |

How would a Gemini Chiron in 9th house manifest? Perhaps struggle with communication, religion, travel? I'm shy and communication isn't effortless but I always thought it's my 12th house placements ... IP: Logged |

It is a little hard to find information on which isn't repetitive/plagiarised. What I have found about it rings true to a certain point- people with Chiron in 5H are good to go to for relationship advice, but have troubled relationships themselves. Relationship counsellor is the role that my friends and family force me into. Also, I think that it's opposition to Uranus is why I can't establish a real relationship. IP: Logged |

My elder sis is the one who stepped into the shoes of our parents and ensure that the family stays intact. (Mom really not much help besides crying and being overally emotional and dramatic about her state of affairs - stellium of planet in leo you see). Nowadays, Dad still lives outside alone, afraid to come home cos my mom can be pretty tactless with words.. breaking his ego. We daughters on the other hand, just pretended that we forgotten everythng and many times requested for him to come back home.. but he still won't. Sometimes it pains us that he is getting skinner and skinner everyday and not the man he used to be.. we wouldn't be here today if not for him.. we had a pretty good life early, had many opportunities that some may not have.. just that he wasn't a good dad. Compared to those who does not even have decent education, we are grateful... He made mistakes but we have overcame it, making each and everyone of us a stronger person. We gained some, lost some.. Its time to look forward.
very sorry about your Dad. Hope he can come around in time. My Dad made mistakes in foreign exchange as well and, in a manner of speaking, also gambled away a huge fortune. But he's too egotistical to be ashamed of his big loss. IP: Logged |

Literally abused in the most horrible ways so that when they grow up they can't really trust anyone and spend the rest of their life trying to understand why they were abused and why this happened to them.Well, that's chiron. He doesn't manifest fairly at times. But I know the child has more innocence than anyone else and this is where the chiron wound will come in very strongly because no child should ever have to experience abuse right? And that's the mentality that makes the person a victim. Until they step into the light and see that nobody is born with an easy life and it's up to you to make a way for yourself to experience a good life. And to use your experience to help others that may have experienced what you did when younger. I know someone who was beaten very badly for nothing when he was a little boy, and sadly it does show because he is very untrusting and jumpy. He told me if he ever saw someone hit their child he would kick their a**. This is his way of trying to become a wounded healer.
I can relate to that. My mom use to beat me for no reason when I was little and I still have that victim mentality at times. Funny because I have the moon conj pluto aspect which I believe has somewhat to do with issues with ones mom. It's really hard for me to move on from the bad stuff my mom did to me, especially because she's still very selfish and doesn't have any remorse. I have chiron in 8th. Its my only 8th house placement so I don't really know what it means. Something to do with taboos, sex or death? Anyways, I feel the same as your friend. I've become the protector of all little kids lol and little kids love me for some reason.

5th House Chiron may make it hard to relax and have fun to--just be silly and childlike. Is it?
