Ok I was thinking about how many crucial conjunctions I have at 8 degrees. These are my borderline Unaspected Planets which we have discussed *sigh*

Anyway, my point is that these would point to a trauma at 4 years old--right?

I think that was when I had my trauma.
Am I doing the math right? Do you take two planets and go to the midpoint?
Thanks so much!

After that, do you check houses?

How do you come up with four?

I am gonna order Noels book now.I thought the Solar Arc dealt with midpoints. I thought you looked to the middle of an aspect to see the age, the trauma happened, for example.
With the Saturn sq Pluto--it would be 4 and a half as the square is 9 degrees.

Solar Arcs do not have anything to do with midpoint per se (though you can of course check Solar Arcs to midpoints, but that would be too much for now).

Anyway, the principle of Solar ARc is that you check for any given year how much your progressed or Solar Arc Sun has moved. this is approximately one degree per year.
So if you are 40 years old, your Sun would have moved roughly 40 degrees (it is not totally equivalent though).

But let`s say you want to check the Solar Arcs for when you were 8 years old.
You check how much the Sun has moved, let`s say 8 degrees. And then you shift EVERY planet 8 degrees forwards, and if it comes to conjunct, oppose, square (semisquare or sesisquare) any of the natal planets or angles within an orb of about 30 minutes (half a degree), then this is a sign for a probably 3event in your life at that time.

The most eventful times are usually those when a planet moved to conjunct an angle.

competence of the OB gyne? also i know the doctor that gave birth to me. not that i asked about it. i am also listed as 5:02 pm so it wasn't rounded off or anything. also iv just never questioned it. it has just always made sense to me to be a scorp asc i have the hair, eyes, schnoz, tiny teef, build, demeanor, almost textbook like my grandfather.

i see libra with pluto on asc they still on the pretty side like some posters here or keanu reeves.. maybe i could have been born a little later if they were wrong but then y list a later time?

with the arcs they'd get 1 or 2 things then others would be off. but then that could also be memory and what one considers for example a traumatic event.

Well, I wouldn´t dare to doubt the rightfulness of your birthtime.

Having said that, even with a seemingly not rounded time, the time can still be off about a few minutes. The clock could have been wrong for a bit.
Also, as far as I know, astrologers ideally take the time of the first independent breath as the birthtime. But the time that is usually noted is the time when the umbilical cord is being cut (at least in Germany).

And then lastly the astrologers who applied Solar ARcs didn`t do it completely right. Or the memory is a bit off, yes that happens, even to the best of us.

Funnily I always doubted the birthtime my mom gave me: 7:07 a.m. That was just too much of a symbolic number. lol
Turned out that my birthcertificate had the same time.

Not only that I rectified my own chart and 7:07 a.m. actually was the only time when the data all fit.

I have come to the conclusion though that it does not really matter to me if it was the exact minute of my first breath (probably was), but if every event in my life is reflected by that time, it definitely must be significant for my life. And knowing this is really enough for me.
