I tell my friends that I don't want to have kids and they all say, "But you'd be such a good dad!" and "You'll change your mind." My one friend even told me that I should have kids because of the tax breaks.

I'm a Cancer Sun, Virgo Moon, Sag ASC. My chart ruler is Jupiter in Aqua which sextiles and is in mutual reception with Uranus conj Sag ASC. Venus in Taurus rules and resides in my 5th house.

I think I would be a good dad, but I just don't want kids. Too much of a commitment. I really value my freedom too much to have to take care of something or someone.

Kids absolutely adore me, even though they can make me a little nervous. I'm all for my sister getting knocked up in a couple of years, but I think I'm better suited for the bachelor lifestyle.

^ Yeah, a sibling doing the reproducing is ideal. 1.) Your parents will stop nagging you for grandspawn. 2.) You get your DNA perpetuated without any biological/financial cost to yourself.

Just gotta be sure to live a few states away so you're not the default free babysitter =P

I know of two males, both Aqua Suns and Sag Moons. Both are childless.

One has an empty 5th, but says he wants kids. Considering he's in his early 50's, I wonder about that.

Second one wanted a vasectomy at age 18. The Dr. wouldn't do it. The Dr. said wait a few years. He did, then went back to the Dr. at age 21. He had the vasectomy at that point. I knew him since childhood, and he always--ALWAYS--said he never wanted kids. Funny thing is, he married someone with two children. Lost track of him through the years. He did seem to be a good step-dad, from what I heard. Later, he divorced the woman he was with. Don't know if he kept in touch with the kids or not.

I'm childless, but always wanted kids. Never found anyone to have them with, but I'm not one of those women who simply MUST MUST MUST have a child to feel fulfilled. I'm okay, either way. It would have been nice, but hey, it's not the end of the world either. I have n.Uranus and n.Pluto in Virgo in my 5th.

OK well I made the request asking for birth info so I could look for possible chart indicators of CF. After I give my interpretation of what could be causing their choice in their chart I link to the cafeastrology.com birth chart for them to read.

I guess the charts they provide are superaccurate, because now the volunteers are just lining up to give me their birth info. Looks like I've unwittingly converted a few people into astrology, lol. Thanks, cafeastrology!

I will return with more cases

As mentioned, I have Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Sagittarius, and I also have fifth house in Sagittarius (Saturn in the fifth house).

I have my moon in Aquarius in the 5th house. I love kids and kids love me. Lol... I think I make an excellent mother because I am a strong believer of freedom.. Kids always want that but with loose invisible leash on them.

Oh well, my kids will turn out fine anyway.

So I got the birth info for two more members (and two more to come, just waiting on their birth times, lol):

Woman 1 has no planets in Aquarius OR Sagittarius, but she does have a tight Sun-Uranus square and Pluto in the fifth house.

Woman 2 has an Aquarius moon and Saturn in the fifth house.

Two of these women (the last one and the very first one I discussed on the thread) have Cancer suns, which took me aback when they first told me their DOBs because Cancer is the "mother" sign. However, when I looked at their charts, one Cancer has a Sagittarius moon and the other one has an Aquarius moon. Both have house 5 afflictions (if you can consider House 5 in Aquarius an "affliction," LOL).

Three of the women also have their suns in the second house.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that a big reason why a lot of women don't want kids is because they are so expensive.
