I think 7th house planets/placements can cause insecurity, since identity is sought through other people. Also hard Neptune aspects. I have Sun in 7th conjunct Neptune and Saturn, it can be really difficult...Just when I think I'm secure in my own self-image, my confidence in myself can be dissolved entirely. I'm hoping I'll be stronger for these challenges in the end though lol IP: Logged |

How young are you? Like 13? I'm a late 89er. And I didn't even behave like you when I was 14. I'd suggest you do some growing up seriously. If I remember RAS is a mid year 89er, so we're not old or anything. Maturity is sth some people either have, or they learn to possess. You probably need to mature alittle cos your reaction was embarrassing. I thought you were trolling. Bc it was so over the top.

I hear you FM. I wrote an article about 7th House and Loss of Identity after a man described this very thing. Then, I checked his chart and he had many 7th House planets. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I grew up in a dysfunctional family where emotionally chaotic and dramatic scenes were the norm, I survived this by retreating into the shadows so to speak, but now as an adult it can be very difficult to be assertive and draw my own boundaries since I'm always looking for approval from other people to just to be my own person with my own identity... If that makes sense lol IP: Logged |

I am a Gem Sun, Merc and Venus. I don't think Gem makes for insecurity. I am not saying I am that secure but I don't think it is the Gemini. [/B][/QUOTE] I said they're the most insecure of people and signs I've met, but you also have to keep in mind that being insecure in general is a very wide spectrum. Just because I said they're the "most" doesn't mean that's very high on the scale in general. IP: Logged |

I'm not criticising. Just telling you to work on yourself and mature alittle. Cos acting like a kid is only funny when you are one. But once you're 17+, it's just lame. =) But good to see you've apologised! IP: Logged |

I think most people are *alittle* insecure deep inside. So it's not really a sign thing, it's a person to person thing. And alot of the time, it is the super out there person that is actually insecure inside. Thus the overcompensation and acting overly confident? IP: Logged |

Depends on why they're acting "out there." If it's done for show then yeah that's insecurity...anything done with the aim of getting outside approval is insecurity. Secure people find that approval within. I used to be a really loud, talkative kid but wasn't that way to gain approval...it actually annoyed everyone and it took a while and some harsh words from them until I started noticing everyone's discomfort lol

I was waiting for the dust to settle a little first before speaking up.Well, I'm self-confident, achievement-driven, ambitious, in control of my own destinty, egotistical and more than a tad arrogant, and yet I am deeply insecure about myself and measuring up to my own ridiculously lofty standards for myself. Capricorn Sun and Gemini Moon. Anyone want to psycho-analyze me? lol. IP: Logged |
