I have t-Pluto in my 12th. I'm doin' therapy so it's manageable. Will soon sq Sun, that's gonna be explosive especially since Uranus will conj Sun. Sun corules my 7th. Oh, happy times!  IP: Logged |

Hi Hera, You reminded me of a blog post I just read a few hrs ago, thought you might be interested. He had the same issue with the transits but he got through it really well it seems, and watch the 2nd YouTube vid, he described the experience in a really enlightening manner. Not that you'll go through what he did, but perhaps in a metaphorical way. Anyway he is a v.impressive Aries Sun (!)IP: Logged |

*gulps*O...M...G!!!!!!  Thank you, Lonake! That is some scary sh!t (I am afraid of high places). It does make sense, though, astrologically. I have been sensing a need to push beyond my comfort level in various areas, including driving  , I will be more careful from now on. Though with this transit it seems like I can run but I cannot hide.  But I've overcome Pluto on n-Moon, Neptune and SN (simultaneous) for which I have one word - catharsis. It was just few years ago and I hope I learned smth from it. *sigh* I really hope death will not come my way. I don't mean mine, though after my struggle with depression it would be ironic if I would die now, when I actually WANT to live  . But losing loved ones is... unbearable.  IP: Logged |

The article also mentions Tr Uranus squaring Mars as making one accident prone. And I can attest to this.
A few years ago I was having Tr Uranus squaring my natal Mars (Uranus was in 3rd house), and I have never had so many "near hits" with cars as in this time. But after the first one I became extra-careful before crossing a street and so I stayed unharmed.Tr Pluto conjunct Sun was pretty much a walk in the sunshine though. lol
No, not really, but it wsa not really threatening (though at some points I got the paranoia I might die, which was really only that, and IFigured that it probably meant that subconsciously I was having a "fear of living" - don`t ask me how that works. lol) IP: Logged |

My mom was experiencing this transit (Pluto square sun) from late 2010 to early 2011 and she had a near death experience as well. Pluto at the time was (is) transiting her eighth. She had a horrible allergic reaction to make-up and if it weren't for me insisting she go to the emergency room (Aries stubbornness anoyone?) she could've very well died from anaphylaxis. Yay  And Ceri's right there were more factors there. Mars to Uranus and to Jupiter are accident prone.

*gulps* I'm only allergic to kiwi's and I stay away from them. But plenty of other things to take me near death with Mars in 3rd opp Pluto it's like hey, near death accidents, here I am!!!!

Hmmm, actually I have smth to share about Pluto on n-Moon. My father has his Moon conj mine though in diff signs (mine 29 Sag, his 0 Cap). When Pluto was hovering over them and finally entered Cap, my grandma (father's mom) died. Last grandparent. I know I checked family charts and everyone had Sat or Pluto through their 8th or making aspect to 8H ruler by transit or progression. I think I was having t-Sat in my 8th too. quote:

V.interesting for sure. Not too surprised exactly but for some reason I still like finding correspondences like these. Might be my inner skeptic. Oh and Saturn, yes it was through my 8th when my mom passed on. Good reminder.

The Moon/Neptune/Node is the close connection to mom right? Perhaps your bond will be challenged by attempts at self assertion in some form or a competitive drive? Maybe some unresolved anger from the past. I don't know what Mars/Pluto stands for in your chart aside from surgery. When the planets solar arc they carry their natal energy to bear on a different area of life and seem to cause chemical reactions in a sense so if it's not your mom, then look to see what else that config could represent for you. To me it sounds quite compassionate and sensitive and wanting to heal, maybe that is the case, so a sa to sq Mars/Pluto opp could be an event that causes some raw sensitivity and deep needs to make themselves known, something you might not be comfortable with confronting. And also, the baby, Moon/Pluto can symbolize wanting a child v.badly and doing everything in one's power to protect them, it can be obsessive and the bond is deep. Just throwing some associations out there. It can be argued that the nodes are tied to karma so that has to be taken into acct as well. I'm sort of getting a feeling that if you don't get a child that you'll be into protecting children in a way to act out an inner need for protection that you crave in an uncertain time, I don't know if this is related to your work or to aligning with an organization, but I think it could be a possibility since you're already in a helping profession. Pluto rules my MC and Saturn is on it, also opposite Mars which rules the 3rd - communication. NN is currently transiting my 10th and has conjuncted Uranus not too long ago. It seems to be starting with this. Moon rules my 6th, Neptune rules my 2nd. My financial status and the stability (or lack) of my job. Moon also rules the 7th - contracts. I will be back later.
