I added this from your help and the help of one of my small astrology study groups.

Saturn square Mars

Saturn is responsibility, delayed gratification, working slowly toward a goal and an overall seriousness in life. Saturn could be called a wet blanket, in common parlance. Mars is drive. When Mars touches Saturn, we could have a helping relationship such as in a mentor. We may, also, have a slave driver who makes it his responsibility to whip the other into shape. Either could happen. In the latter, there would be the possibility of violence due to frustration on the part of the Mars person, most likely

saturn square mars is probably bad, but i think Mars-Pluto is the worse.

i think saturn might make it abuse/control, authority.

for me, mars-pluto = hatred, so intense that its made me feel almost out of control, violent.

What Makes for Violence In a Relationship

1. ) You -
If you have a tendency to be opinionated, imposing, aggressive and or, argument, then your natal may show it. The natal aspects may, (but not always), show how these characteristics are used by the individual.

2 ) The other -
If the other person has a tendency to be opinionated, imposing, aggressive and or, argument, then his/her natal may show it. The natal aspects may, (but not always), show how these characteristics are used by the individual. Men tend to be naturally territorial (the younger they are the more this is likely to be the case).

3.) Social training -
This is truly the wild card to relationships. Astrology or no astrology, we are basically taught how to behave with and around other people. We learn how to accept differences in a compromising way. The better this training is, the less likely we are to engage in physical attacks.

4.) The relationship -
Each person brings to the table their own individuality. The relationship then, develops behind the three elements mentioned above. However - you each interact with each other - the relationship becomes a third person that the outside World looks at. This third person can be less than either one of you are as individuals - if you fight a lot. Or it can be viewed as a neutral person - where the public may not even notice you as a couple. Or the third person can become recognized as a sum much larger that its' parts.

Planets that are linked to egos and action are frequently found around people that have irritable temperaments.
Sun, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, Ascendant

The influences that are represented by the conjunction, the square and, the opposition tend to be the catalyst for physical eruption. If Sun, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, and or the Ascendant are hit with any of these aspects in a relationship chart, then there is potential for stressful times regardless of who's planet is affecting who's planet.

Evaluating Relationship Charts:
I work with Synastry aspects, but I would imagine that It does not matter what type of relationship chart you view - there will always be some unwanted aspect combination(s) in the charts. In fact we should come to expect it. And these aspects will tend to out number the kind of stuff we regard as the good stuff. So, it is in our best interest to search for the best aspects we can find in our relationship charts - the more the better. Otherwise, we may find ourselves in violent situations.

The nice thing about being introspective is that we learn how to see where the potential problems are. There is an old saying "Before you can solve a problem, you must first know what the problem is.". Sorry, I do not know the author.

Hi slowpoke, for curiosity's sake, why are you excluding Mercury here in combination with the malefic factors that you mentioned?

Lonake,

MY is more like VE and JP as a stand alone planet. It is neutral in Synastry, until aspected. It takes on the attitude of the planets it makes aspect to. MY aspecting MY is disagreeable but seldom leads to physical fighting because the energy is lacking.

Sun, Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto and, Ascendant on the other hand are stand alone statement makers with attitude. When these planets are aspected, the energy in the person is much more apparent. M, MY, VE, JP and, NP serve more as magnifiers to the planets they aspect. And it is the aspects between the statement makers that dictates how the energy will be dispensed.
