My experience is that they would prefer not to be in any kind of romantic relationship. They are emotional about the *world* at large - because Pisces is a transpersonal sign. They are not 'emotional' in a one-on-one kind of way. So if you are looking for a genuine - mutually loving - classic - relationship... you will likely not find it with a Pisces Mooner. They do sometimes end up in an 'official' relationship - because their family or social circle expects this.. and they don't want to disappoint others. But they don't feel happy about it. There are often mother issues with this Moon sign... either she was (or she is) ... ill - physically or mentally.. and the Pisces Moon man feels very tied to her. In the more negative manifestation, they can expect the women in their lives to live up to unrealistic expectations - based on the unrealistic way in which they see their mother. The Pisces Moon - overall... (in my opinion) is one of the most difficult placements to be with romantically. IP: Logged |

In friends - they are attracted to people who are sensitive, artistic.. people who understand emotion and go with the flow in life. They like being able to have heart2hearts with their friends.. They want to know they are 'safe' with you emotionally and you will not hurt them when they open up. They do not like loud-mouths.. They need peace and quiet because they are easily upset. They are also very secretive so they want to know that the other person can keep a secret. But romantically and sexually - they like *nothing*. They would prefer not to go there at all. Sometimes they are celibate. You would have to post the chart though - because the Mars placement can tell you more about his sexuality. If his Mars is in a feminine sign - then it's quite likely that - celibacy appeals to him. IP: Logged |

I've always been attracted to physically feminine guys that have an interest in art and culture. However, when it comes to emotions I don't like them to be too sensitive or lovey dovey. Being a triple water that would be to overwhelming, theres gotta be a balance :]------------------ Scorpio sun, Pisces moon, and Pisces rising IP: Logged |

I haven't had a TON of experience with Moon in Pisces but I think it's probably one of the most beautiful placements around. The Moon tends to say less about who we're attracted to and more about long-term compatibility in close friendships and romances. Our Venus sign says more about our initial attractions and our 'type'. BUT, the Moon definitely does factor into attractions, obviously. Just in a deeper-felt way. I'd imagine Moon in Pisces is open to just about anyone romantically. Pisces is the least judgmental and the least likely to have a particular type they go for. But, they'll feel more comfortable around Water Suns, Water Moons, or those with a strong Water emphasis. They respond very well to plenty of kindness, sweetness, and sensitivity, especially since they're used to their feelings often being hurt by less perceptive or nurturing types of personalities. But, unlike the typical Cancer Moon, they don't really need to be cared for exactly. They are normally very caring and compassionate but not the caretaker that Cancer is. Pisces is probably much less clingy and possessive than Cancer and Scorpio; they flow on their own wavelength, instead of merging and attaching so heavily like the other two Water signs. So they like their space and will give you yours, all the while still letting you know how much they care in their own way. It can be a slightly eccentric position, but in the most endearing way most of the times, and they'll definitely appreciate people with creative talents and interests. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Definitely not. Pisces Moon women are very comfortable in their role as women. They do not have an idealised image of "men".. The Moon relates to the mother figure - so if anything, they will try to live up to an idealised image themselves and be the perfect wife or the perfect gf. They can spread themselves too thin trying to be all things to all people. Pisces Moon women are not celibate though... They are very loving people and it is easy for them to be emotionally expressive. They make those around them feel special. They can have very emotionally fulfilling relationships. The men with this Moon sign do not seem to understand the connection between sex and love... whereas for the women - this connection is just natural. The men separate sex & love... and then want nothing to do with sex (as though it is negative). This may be based on their idealising the mother figure - and desexualising her. So it's almost like - having sex with a girl would be -dirtying- her image. Many Pisces influenced men seem to split women into "mothers" and "wh0res"... and see no grey areas (mainly when they have Sun/Moon or Mars in Pisces)... For some reason it does not apply to Venus in Pisces. I have no idea why - I'm just going on my experiences with these people. IP: Logged |

I'm a pisces moon and I like confident people with thick skins. When there is reason to be emotional or be offended, that's one thing but people who are constantly being emotional and sensitive and have little control over these states, are a real turn off. I have a lot of earth (6) including sun and rising, followed by fire(4)including mars in my chart though. So,I may not be typical. IP: Logged |

I'm a pisces moon =] I like people that understand me, people who are always there for me,willing to listen to what I have to say. I find that I click best with Scorpio moons because they are emotional but they know how to control their emotions.IP: Logged |

They like to laugh and they like people who get the joke about life, someone who can muse at their situation and find the bright spot in it, the spot where all things merge and you find the meaning of it all in an instant. That point that clues you in on the fact that none of it is that big of a deal anyway. They don't like people who dwell on neg situations cos there's more out there, to them it's only part of the picture. Or maybe it's cos they're easily brought down by others. They want you to introduce them to novel ideas or concepts, things that expand their view of the universe. They censor themselves in conversation for the benefit of others. Some would call this a lie. It is. They do this to avoid rejection/seeming crass/hurting others, take your pick. If you can bring it up to them later on when you're alone that you NOTICED what they were feeling (the thing that they didn't bring up) then that will make them feel *relieved* and make em think you're v.sensitive and a kindred spirit cos you picked up on things that they weren't verbally expressing. They'll open up to you about that matter and feel great that they can actually express that feeling or thought to someone without any fear. And be sweet too but not a pushover, they like strength even if they're not that strong on their own. The sense of humor is a big deal. You can be silly with them, they tend to be pretty tolerant.IP: Logged |

Moonfish - I meant sexually and emotionally ^.Pisces Moon men are chastised early on for being too emotional and people tell them to 'toughen up'... due to social norms like 'big boys don't cry'. As a result - Not only do they toughen up - but sometimes to shun *all* emotion - completely. Pisces Moon women don't usually have this problem. IP: Logged |

Yeah Lonake that's a great description. The fact is that Pisces mooners are very goofy, think Steve Carrel or Jerry Seinfeld. They also can be very random at times and they love it when you bring up something random, it makes them feel like they have something in common with you. And they are very sensitive to other people's reactions, to the point that they will avoid certain things just because of getting a bad reaction. It would help if you knew what house/ aspects this particular person's Pisces Moon is in. IP: Logged |

That pretty much nails it. I'm very quiet at first. It takes me a while to open up to someone, but once I do it is a lovely flow of warmth and admiration. ( I have Pisces Moon with a fixed Sun as well). IP: Logged |

so this pisces moon must have been waiting to start the conversation. other things i noticed when she's conversing with other people, she is very quick and cuts it short. i would think she was scared to talk and scared to go on deeper or she was just not interested. happens to people who wants to talk to her. which is i understand the few friends she has. are you secretive as well?

Didn't you say she was a Scorpio Sun? That sounds like a Scorpio thing to me. I'm quiet at first but I open up pretty fast once I feel comfortable. IP: Logged |
